Thanks Elizabeth A few more jobs to do and we can get on with some more fabrication and bodywork…. Can’t wait to get her gleaming in some fresh new paint Best Wishes 😊👍
😀 Awesome Vid. The car is sitting so much better now. I am a little worried about the brackets slipping over time due to vibration etc as the originals were crimped on. I hope you prove me wrong. Did you loc-tight the nuts on the rebound clips, and did you paint them for protection as they will be under the car?
Hi Si-Fi This type of brackets are used for n later ones I believe and certainly on lots of others makes/ Models. The nuts used are all Ny-Loc nuts so I’m sure they will stay I will put some paint over them however for a little protection. Thanks for the comments and watching the video. Apologies for the delayed response…. I’ve been quite unwell with COVID / long COVID but I’m on the mend now ……. New videos to come in the new year Merry Christmas 😊👍
Hi Toby The blocks are still in and the front is now 1.5 inches lower as I’ve moved the lower arms one spline on the torsion bars. It has left me with a couple of other things I need to do with the suspension which will be covered in another video. Thanks for watching! Best Wishes Tim 😊👍
That's a good idea I might have a go with George next summer 🤓👍
It’s the only way I could get her down without going stupid with lowering blocks or buying new springs
Hi, the brackets look great...The flower turned out beautiful and such a good idea to make money for the car ...Big like 1...
Thanks Elizabeth

Stance looks a lot better. Did you keep the lowering block in?
Hi Toby
