Muscle weighs more than fat, so if your a fit guy with alot of muscle, its hard to drop weight... Unless he's just picked up some rona weight with the gyms being closed....

I don't own a mustang, i'm not a total fan of mustangs (although the new GT500 is badass) but somehow i LOVE this channel. Good, clean, raw content. No fancy camera work, no 10 other dudes jumping in and out of the video making odd jokes that aren't funny. Just a dude, a camera and his cars. Love it!

The clip on the side of the sawzall is a rafter hanger. If you’re up at elevation working in/around the framing of a building you open the clip up and you can hang the saw on the beam. :)

Alex you’re definitely gonna be in the 11s. We have the same setup basically. E85, FFE, stock exhaust manifolds, x pipe with dumps, 18 ported mani and stock 15-17 CAI, 6r80 and 3.15 gears. I went 11.7 on just a MT 28” tire. PP wheels in the front. Passenger seat was removed. I know my car definitely has more in it

Finally you removed all that weight!! Congrats man, the back seats are about 13-15 pounds I always have mine out. And yesss Milwaukee cordless tools are the best!! Also steeda has a front bumper support, cheap and easy to install. 10.5 pounds off the front.

Like butter... these new cordless Milwaukee tools are nice I have a set,.. the mufflers and seat were worth taking off but I like my car pretty quiet as well.. I used the magnaflow xpipe with roush mufflers it was crazy loud without it

Knew a guy who was so serious about weight reduction he would take Exlax the night before the Saturday races and not eat until he was done. Claims to have dropped 2-3 lbs based on a bathroom scale. Extreme steps. Was fast however.

Converter and then test. After that LT headers and then test would be pretty cool to see what the gains are with each. I'm sure your friends at Ultimate Headers will hook you up with another set.
Car still looks good when she's cleaned up! Also does well off the line without an aftermarket stall NA imo.

Milwaukee makes some quality shit. Just recently bought a electric cordless impact for wheel changes at the track. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

@@TheJMan1K seats, drag wheel/tire setup, suspension, k-member, etc. I hated the car afterwards. Put everything back in it and sold a couple of yrs ago. Looking at buying a c6z this year.

Haha. I just watched this again looking for s550 weight reduction. So maybe you did not know. Harbor freight was paying cash money for returning these Jack stands. Take them back! I replaced mine with pro lift stands.

Alejandro Flores it is really. I sold a 4.11 to my buddy with a max effect N/A and it really helped him a lot because the car fail on it face on the 2-3,3-4 shift. That gear woke it up for sure.

It's a lightly modded na 5.0 with a 6r80 if it ain't gonna be anything else consistent is what it will be lol
Michael Harris Yeah, but there are so many variables since he’s launching on the street. His 60’ was always fluctuating, but the trap was always the same. That’s consistency.
I got a mild bolt on 14 gt/cs manual and I gutted it for an 11 and well did 12.0 at 120mph and haven't been back to a drag strip after that

You should do a 1 piece driveshaft see if that helps
It amazes me what this car has to go through to hit 11s, my 2012 boss ran 12.0 @114 bone stock with just a 28’ Hoosier tire. But I see 15-17 5.0 struggling to get in the 12s in stock form all the time
The main issue is the stock converter hurting the 60 ft. Until the 10r came out manual 6 speed cars were faster stock for stock at the track. The 12-13 boss has the good intake manifold already has the higher rpm already coupled with a favorable gear it's no wonder you ran 12.0 with a tire.
Must have pulled like a 1.5 60 foot if you only trapped 114. On the street that car would be 13's
A. Wheeler high 1.6 and fbo gen 2s barely hit low 12s high 11s at this track, typically with a 116/117mph trap. And no it wouldn’t be 13s, I have hard wall radials for street
That 60ft needs to come down. And it'll become easier. Converter.

@@YDBT4LIFE When I had less power, I could dead hook second with an E T Street SS all day through a Magnum. I would think it would be easier with a 6r80. Meh... Maybe you’re just slightly hazing the tires and any weight at all would just slow you down
