Again, the hulk didn’t kill Betty. The abomination did. HE poisoned her with his gamma radiated blood. Bruce just thought it was his fault at first, because he and Betty made love in the same issue that she got sick. But it was completely Abomination’s doing. He simply wanted to hurt Bruce/Hulk out of jealousy, because they had Betty’s love and support, while abomination’s wife, Nadia viewed him as a monster and left him.
So like Spiderman Reign?

I feel like being a hulk isn't that bad...It's just because Bruce had a lot of psychological trauma that manifest as the hulk. Every other hulk (Atleast the ones I know) seem to have full control. Both she hulks, red hulk, totally awesome hulk (for the most part).
You are a literal range monster. Everything is amplified including your own anger banner wasn't always like that He kept a lot inside and because of the gamma radiation it brought everything to the surface and manifested into a whole personality. Yeah crazy mental illness after being blasted with DNA altering radiation 😂.
@@ameer781 Bruh, the other hulks are fine. It's literally Bruce's mental issues. She hulk, Red Hulk, & Red She hulk (& totally awesome hulk from what I've heard at least) are in almost total control. Being A Hulk isn't much worse from being almost any other super hero, as long as you don't have any underlying mental issues.

But true is, it was never specified that it was Bruce's seed what killed Betty. It was simply stated that years of proximity to him made that to her, even if she has developed some tolerance initially.

When I first saw Shehulk I thought she was Hulk’s girlfriend. I felt bad when I found out they are cousins.

Fun fact: In Old Man Logan comics, Hulk went insane after fighting Doctor Doom in Mount Rushmore. Doctor Doom dropped him on top of the core of a nuclear power plant which literally made him go.insane from radiation.

Yes- they got that wrong for some reason; Abomination poisons Betty out of jealousy (he has this whole thing with his former wife Nadia that kind of mirrors Bruce and Betty), and makes Bruce think that it was his own doing
I don’t really understand how they got that wrong tbh, it’s a relatively well-known event in the hulk fandom

Never understood old man Logan. One flaw. Like you said, Hulk wants to be left alone. So no he wouldn't make a gang to terrorize, or kill, like Logan and his family.

I didn't expect #1 to be so convincing. In some stories being the hulk works out for bruce (MCU) but its never long before another reboot, another struggle, and the chance at a bad end.
Its kinda funny, the green giant bit is weird, but he's so simple to identify with that the hulk can easily outlive many other characters.

With a qualifier, you've GOT to have colleagues like the Hulk has, who are more willing to banish you to other dimensions, it, send you off into space, than attempt to cure you, or, just keep you somewhere, under guard, so that you WON'T be "Hulking Out!", after being attacked by just ANY idiot on the street! Even when Bruce Banner became, basically, a hermit, and, put himself under house arrest, someone would, eventually, come looking for him, trying to take him by force, USUALLY, the beginning of some seriously BAD TIMES, fir, not just them, but, untold numbers of Innocents.
Hulk : The End was one of the first comics I’ve read very dope.
Quite possibly the worst Hulk fate of all was in a naaaaasty What IF?! centering around the idea of Bruce Banner being the monster as opposed to the Hulk. Much like a later issue did to Ghost Rider, this dark instance of Bruce basically set up a gentle, caring Gamma expression to take the heat and eventually extinguish himself. As that figure was the last trace of social empathy and goodness in a Bruce Banner who had NOT rebelled against his abusive father's ideas and upbringing, it came as no surprise to me that the Hulkless Banner promptly blackmailed Dr. Samson and had the already long-suffering Betty committed. This was bad enough the Bullpen made sure to put disclaimers in the comic.

You know, I'm just gonna put this out there for the sake of thought. Real blood cousins have intermarried for thousands of years and it actually leads to very few issues, given that the offspring eventually try to branch out as much as possible. if that were not the case, human kind would be so much more messed up than they already are. I'm not saying its not gross, btw. Most inbreeding issues come from brothers and sisters or multiple generations of the closest relations comingling, ie. royals in the old days.
i find it odd that they never considered an appropriate partner for the hulk could be any number of super powered beings and went straight to his cousin. Surely there were other candidates? Captain Marvel, Spider Woman, any woman of the Titan race of which Thanos was a member of. The marvel cosmos was chock full of races that could have withstood not only the radiation, but also the brutality of hulk lovin'.
