Your videos are just the cream of the crop. I love how much research you do and how much detail you give us. You've convinced me, I'll buy it in November when it comes out physically.
If this becomes financially successful for the dev, I hope he creates a team and hires a professional dialogue writer for the sequel. Because this has potential.
@@JustTheGems a lot of time and dedication I guess, imagine getting stuck and having no one to help. You just got to figure it out some how, not only that, but have multiple skills to write code, make 3& graphics, ect...
A lot of people have given this one a thumbs up. Definitely going physical when it's released and will be added to my enormous backlog of games to play ...
I really appreciated the attention to detail in how you described the gameplay & execution. Well done! This game looks really interesting even though I'm usually not into a ton of mini games. Planning to pick it up physically later this year~
Great review, looks like an interesting game. I laughed when I saw that you put a calendar date in the corner of your video while you were complaining about the calendar in the game 😂
Finally got around to playing this one, when all was said and done I give it a very solid 7/10! Given its price and length I think it's 100% worth a try if you enjoy persona type games, the weakest link is the combat but it was at least decent enough to keep me engaged even if a little bored by the end. The characters were great and what drove me forward for the most part, the ending (talking about the "secret" ending) I got actually hit pretty damn hard and I wasn't ready for the feels lol.
Hmm, I'm not sure if this is for me, but it looks pretty. 😊 As for my favourite action jrpg, it has to be Seiken Densetsu 3, now Trials of Mana as we finally got an official English release 4 years ago (and a remake 3 years ago) 🙂 Pretty sure there's loads of nostalgia and rose tinted glasses involved in that decision, but it's my favourite 😂
I enjoyed the game a lot. the dialogue was funny, characters were memorable and In all honesty the combat was fun and challenging at points. Hell some of the puzzles were legit challenging as well. great rpg went beyond my expectations. 10/10 great game. honestly im gong to say its my rpg of the year so far.

Thank you!! I hope you enjoy it!

It seems okay from the demo I played, but I'm shocked that it was more or less done by one person, that's amazing.
It's crazy, right?? How do you even DO something like that?

Awesome review! This is the first positive review I've actually seen about this game!!! Kinda refreshing!
I've been avoiding any other reviews so I wouldn't be influenced - I'm surprised to hear people didn't like it, it seems like a winner to me!

Same here. Going to buy it physically to join the back log. 🤣😭🤣😭🤣😭
It's definitely worthwhile if you ask me!

Thanks Emily! I think you'll probably enjoy it, it's got good vibes.

Haha I'm glad someone caught that. 🤣
Been really enjoying this on my steam deck. Haven't stopped since I started. Great mix of action rpg and persona.
I'm glad to hear it! It really impressed me.

Awesome review my dude! It's pretty interesting seeing this one come up. Do you know if a Switch version is happening!
Thanks! I think Sony got some console exclusivity, though I don't know if that's timed or not...
I didn't know this game was made by essentially just one person. That's pretty cool! Undertale is another great game made by one or two people.
Yeah, Undertale pretty much blew my mind, and this one blew it all over again. It's wild what people can do nowadays.

I want to spend some time with Trials soon, I haven't played much yet
Ys 8 is my favorite action RPG. If that's too cliche, then I immensely enjoyed Persona 5 Strikers
Yes 8 is an all-timer, it's my favorite Ys game and one of my favorites overall

I agree, it's definitely a standout for me this year, too!
Sure, that one man created Stardew Valley is phenomenal. However, I think it would be just fair to add that he was working on it for 8 years!
True. But tools are constantly improving, so I bet the process will speed up
@@JustTheGems and yet it takes longer and requires more people to make games.
