On the nails thing: I think SimplyNailogical deserves some cred for that. She is openly a tomboy, doesn’t wear much makeup except for fun, yet absolutely lives for fun nails. She made it normal to love nails, the art of it, the vibe of it, etc. without it being associated with glamour. I’m a tomboy and hardly ever wear makeup, yet I still enjoy some long painted nails because her videos made it look so fun

Ok, but when they said the thing about people in couples looking alike it’s literally a thing because humans are so narcissistic that we just want to f*ck ourselves. Like, the amount of “separated at birth” siblings that end up finding each other, hooking up, and THEN finding out they are blood happens so much they did a documentary about it!!
