that was painful omg 😭😭😭 we literally learned about the physics of how planes fly in 3rd grade in my advanced pull-out class. girl open a book😭😭 of course we know how planes fly like hello???
genuinely i was born in the right generation because picturing myself holding a map in my car? to drive somewhere? and being late? it would be so over for me before it even started, i might have to invent the iphone even sooner
I learned to drive a bit before smartphones with navigation and I have no sense of direction. I was going to need to save up for a turn by turn navigation system. Until then, I stayed within 5 minutes of home. Being able to look up a place on my phone and get an updating set of directions that considerations traffic and my location? Actually life changing…😅
personally, i walk everywhere so it really allows me to get my navigational bearings- but on any route i try to memorize visual markers! it helps a bunch
The FAA is very restrictive and they will fine Boeing in a heartbeat and they absolutely have. The FAA even has the authority to revoke their production certificate. The FAA has repeatedly forced Boeing to stop deliveries. The FAA is now essentially within Boeing in spots permanently, after the 737 MAX fiasco. So they're always within the facilities and are probably very keen on fining them for every little infraction. EASA was practically modeled after the FAA regulations we already have, and they're sort of linked together by ICAO agreements. Sorry for getting to technical... But the point is Airbus is under EASA which is typically more restrictive than the FAA. All in all, if you're going to fly, I would use any Airbus over Boeing at the moment, but things might change (hopefully, because Boeing is really good for our economy and creates a lot of jobs) with the FAA now on deck with them.
It’s always prepped in way in advance because they know you will be there reacting. Try fitting in prep time between your love for my being, I know it’s hard
the fun thing is its technically true. We do understand how planes fly, but there isn't yet an explanation for how lift (the force that causes flight) is generated.
if caleb hearon has 1 million fans, i’m one of them. if caleb hearon has 1,000 fans, i’m one of them. if caleb hearon has 1 fan, it’s me. if caleb hearon has no fans, i’m dead. i am a proud calesbian😌✊🏾
As an almost 37 year old woman I can confirm the memory of looking out the window riding in the back of a horse and buggy, Christina Aguilara blasting in my wired headphones.
The astronauts were like: “we were in such a fucking rush to get back down here y’all… you’ll never fucking guess haha… we forgot to take a FUCKING PICTUREEE”😂😂😂
Yeah so basically a planes wing is shaped in such a way that there's more surface area on one side of the wing than the other. This means that when the plane is made to go fast enough, it creates more air pressure under the wing than on top of it. This is how lift is generated and flight is possible.
"I dont want to call god nonbinary because I doubt that they've ever made a coffee, you know what I mean?" I can't believe I heard this sentence today. My day got brighter all of a sudden.
Love you for also being a "lesbian-coded" gay man, I never felt so seen and heard when you said "Sorry for wanting to built a beautiful life together". You are literally one of the funniest people I know of, you even bring out the best in Drew and Brittany who are already funny to begin with.
aerospace engineer here - we know how to make planes fly, the issue is it's very hard to explain ~ why ~ they fly. there was a viral scientific american article headline of "No One Can Explain Why Planes Stay in the Air"... but the article almost entirely describes why they do. it' just clickbait. the truth is we do know how to explain it, it's just difficult to explain and therefore usually requires 4+ years of school to understand
What the hell how is this show so relentlessly good?! How is it coming out this often?! How is he getting these people to come on like every three days?!
My dad was an aircraft engineer. He explained to me ad nauseum how planes were able to fly. He was also part of teams that analysed plane crashes in the 1960s that led to improvements that still feature in aircraft design now. Can't remember a thing, but they definitely know how planes work.

“We dont have any scientific way of knowing how planes fly”
Aerospace Engineers: 🤨
I think she might have gotten planes confused with bumblebees, which I think was another myth.
they way that the call made me go crazy
Like what does she mean omg….
that was painful omg 😭😭😭 we literally learned about the physics of how planes fly in 3rd grade in my advanced pull-out class. girl open a book😭😭 of course we know how planes fly like hello???
Like girl, we have entire degrees based on the science on how a plane flies lmao
Convinced Caleb would be a sports commentator if he was straight because that imitation of tony was too good
Can we get a gay sport channel though?😂 Gay commentators only. “Yasss there he goes, to the 10 to the 5 SLAYYY TOUCHDOWN”
I just heard him talk about being a commentator for his jv football team or something like that...
@kyliejohnson730that should be a thing! And not just with Johnny Weir at the Olympics.

Watching Caleb predict planes not being trust worthy in 2025 is crazzzy 😮
in real time!

Love you for also being a "lesbian-coded" gay man, I never felt so seen and heard when you said "Sorry for wanting to built a beautiful life together". You are literally one of the funniest people I know of, you even bring out the best in Drew and Brittany who are already funny to begin with.
