For me the challenge in figuring out where crappie are and how the want the lure is hands down the best. I catch so many bass while im crappie fishing it gets annoying. Come up to Southwest Michigan(Kalamazoo county) We got some of the best panfish fishing I have ever seen and I’m from bama originally, even fished okeechobee. got a few lakes that produce 8-9” plus gills on the average (all public waters) they love the 1” gulp. I got a huge 14” crappie last week bass fishing on a chatterbait. I got a bass just under a 5lbs last week too same lake all public waters I fish. Yall boys got them magnolia crappie down there such a beautiful fish. Hope u and the fam have a blessed week. 🎣🐟😊
In Alabama on Smith lake where I fish for CROPPY you hear me ,I enjoy watching your show and I have that same favorite rod 6ft xlight it's perfect for slangin those little little jigs next time you come to Smith for a tournament jump on some brush tops and snag some pig croppy enjoy the 4th be safe

I like to stop for a quick crappie bite while im mapping for bass. Ill pass by schools of them and sometimes it just looks too juicy to pass up.
