Hi There, not sure if you realise but the purple jug looks to be a Luke Adams (designer potter in New Zealand) The jug is called “ the game jug “ worth upwards of $500 NZD. These pieces are very rare and very sort after. Blessings and have fun looking into this, Fi from New Zealand.
The little copper pot is a chafing dish. You could probably use it for sauce, butter, syrup, anything you want to serve warm (or melted) put a little lit candle under
The purple pitcher with the dog handle is gorgeous! I have a collection of "milk pitchers" that either have handles that are animals and hunting scenes.
At 11:52 the spatula is an Oneida serving piece. I think I got two sets of these (the flat ones and flat serving spoons) new in the 90’s. Perfect for serving and getting cake from rectangle pans and baked casseroles like lasagne. I use mine still weekly and they have held up beautifully. Very well made.
Stumbled across your channel….loved it! Enjoyed the thrift haul. The pitched was unique figured it was worth something when I seen the handle. I use Google lens a lot! Can’t wait for the next video! 😊
No no no don’t paint that pitcher….. it worth a lot…… take a picture and google lense it. The little cooper pot you put a candle in the bottom and some water with spices like cinnamon ,clove, oranges or bits o apple and it smells up your house so nicely. Wow what state are you in. I’ve never seen such great items for such great prices from the thrift 🙋🏻♀️🙌🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Amazing finds! That quilt!! Everything is really great. The soup tureen "spoon' is called a ladle. You could put a battery tea light in your fairy lamp and then it would be safe as a night light or whatever. Would love to see more of your home.
Thank you so much! I really do try to have an idea of how I can use it/where I'm going to put it. It is so easy for stuff to accumulate and as I mentioned, our house is pretty small. Everything needs a purpose here.
Hi! Just found your channel! I'm A lover ok ask things old.. primitive, antique, old vintage, regency/Victorian..allthethings!! I collect many different things but always adding to my thrifted or antique store finds! I love anything old & mad of wood, large or small, and love brass also.. love both sets of tie backs. I love to collect copper pieces, it was hard to find the small pots & pans at a fair price where we were living in Tennessee! Hopefully with the overabundance of thrift & antique stores here where we've just moved to in Florida I'll have better luck. The quilt is beautiful, love old hand made quilts, but i also love a good store bought quilt! The little copper pot is a fondue pot! Chute piece! Wow.. that's awesome that there actually somewhere that sells things for .50¢!! Love the duck tourine with the ladle, more often than not the ladle will be missing! You should google Lens that piece to find the age, value & probably the maker as well! Even the cookie jar.. you'll find that google Lens will be your best friend! You can even use it on plants, animals/insects, jewelry, cars.. Literally anything!! We owned A thrift store in Tennessee, we used it to help with pricing & learning about pieces that were donated to us. Same here, the majority of things in my home, from decor to furniture to dishes, lightning.. & everything in between was thrifted! The glass piece is a fairy lamp, another piece very hard to find back in TN.. its on my hunt/wish list! Personally I would use the battery tea light, just to keep it clean from wax build up. Some prefer candles.. its just a preference !🤷♀️ I have to say the pieces your getting for .50¢ are at a steal! The Fairy lamps can run from $30 & upwards of over $100 for the right color & year make. This Is why I google Lens everything i buy, & urge others to do the same! I've got pieces with a good bit that i paid very little for! You never know about the old pieces! Oh wow! Like I said, i love wood pieces, & free.. yes please!! Rub it down with "Restore a Finish" it'll bring out a shine, cover scratch marks & make it look like new! Is not A stain although it lol like it when you open it, it dough goes on clear. I watch people restore furniture that use it, awesome product!! I'm looking for the old metal bottom sewing machine table with the foot peddle for my antique black & gold singer sewing machine. Just the machine itself was given to me, so looking for that piece. A lady told me at church Sunday she had 2 of the tables & she'd just give me one if i wanted! Lol again if its free.. yes please! Very grateful for that! I totally enjoyed the video, love a good thrift haul! Hope i was of some help to you as well, i try!😊 ... and yes i do have the gift of gab, I'm a define chatty box 🤷♀️ TFS!
Ha! I am a talker too! Get me talking about old things and I could go on forever! I definitely need to utilize google lens, apparently. I never think to use that. These prices definitely do have me spoiled. I have found the mom and pop type thrift store to have the best prices, that majority of the time. I try to avoid the goodwill and red rack type stores although I will still go to them. Their prices has increased so much it is almost cheaper to buy new than buy from their stores. Thank you for watching! I love sharing thrift hauls. Lover of all things old over here!
@@diaryofahomemaker I haven't been to Good Will in years! The one where I lived in Tennessee was basically clothing with a few shelves of junk in the back. I pretty much only had antique stores nearby. We owned A thrift store, & i think there were a couple other ones but mostly clothing as well. But where we've just moved to in FL.. oh my its honestly overwhelming the amount of thrift stores!! There's 10 in less than 6mi. & 11 more 10min over in the nexf little town. That's just thrift stores, not including antique stores! I could literally shop a different store every day for several months, a within an hour! Its just crazy!! I was told this area was a huge honey hole.. it definitely is!! I'm in A suburb of Tampa, just 30min out. I haven't gotten to actually shop yet but i can wait!!😁 I seen them out & about & googled tho! Look forward to your next video😊
@@diaryofahomemaker there's a video here on you tube.....designer Debbie Tucker. She does great video. Her canopy turned out great. I'd use european rub and buff to make look more aged.
Everything, lol! If it can fit in a mason jar, it's going into a mason jar. I love how it looks. We can quite a bit, and got a freeze dryer back in January so we store all of those things in jars. And of course spices, herbs, flour, sugar, etc all get stored in jars as well!
I do know what the copper with place for flame it’s a copper fondue You light a flame underneath and put oil inside and you do fondue French origin and name and you can do meat or cheese or chocolate. You are missing the utensils
Hi, just found your channel today and subscribed. Great thrift haul - especially love the two baskets, the brass curtain tiebacks and the brass box for rubber bands & clips. Looking forward to seeing you transform the lavender jug to farmhouse decor. 👍 Hi from NL, Canada! 🇨🇦
Those are great finds! Please, could you let me know the brand of quilt you thrifted. It was Country something? It is adorable. I’m just wanting to get a good picture so O can try to replicate and make something similar
Yes! It was Country Living! I tried to find the exact one online but was not successful. It did had a tag on it which is how I knew what it was. I paid $4 for it which I think I forgot to mention.
Wow! Amazing finds. Where do you live because I went to 4 Goodwills today and found nothing. Everything was shitty and expensive. I wish I had better thrift stores in my area😢
I am not planning on any big room makeovers at this time, other than our panty/dining room swap. I will be sharing at the end of summer when food preservation season is mostly done and I can share our full pantry shelves.
Hello there, Please do not paint the purple pitcher . You have a real find there it’s a Luke Adam’s and is worth upwards of $400.- $500. Get it appraised. Love your channel 😊 you found some amazing unique items. ❤ the basket reminds me of Logenberger baskets which are quite pricey 😊

And the handle appears to be a dog, maybe?
Wow, you are correct! I had no idea! Looks like I will not be painting it, ha! Thank you for informing me!
I love all your treasures! I love being surrounded by beautiful things too!
It really does make a difference to be surrounded by things you love!
The little copper pot is a chafing dish. You could probably use it for sauce, butter, syrup, anything you want to serve warm (or melted) put a little lit candle under
The little copper piece is a cracker holder, like ritz. I think haha. So glad to have found your channel as one thrifter to another ❤
LOL, I was searching the comments to see if anyone said anything about it, I have porcelain ones.
Wow!! Wish I had a thrift-store that sold items for 50 cents. I love that tourine!!
Me too! I live way out with nothing like that even within our area at all. What state is she in? They have great stuff.
Me too!! I wonder where she is located
These prices have me spoiled! Had to have the tourine!
I am in Missouri!
Simmering potpourri, copper covered pot w/ tea light. You can use scented candle wax too.
I agree! I need to do this
I loved everything you got!! Would love to see a home tour 😍
You find the best stuff! Super prices! And great thrift stores
Thank you! I often have to sift through a lot of junk to find treasures, but that's half the fun!
The purple pitcher with the dog handle is gorgeous! I have a collection of "milk pitchers" that either have handles that are animals and hunting scenes.
Oh wow! I need to look more up, I didn't realize there would be others. I love the handle!
Such a lovely haul 🌸🦋🌸
So glad you're back....would love a house tour..love your style
Thank you for being patient with me, ha! Life got super busy, but it is better so I can commit again! I plan to do this at some point!

Thank you! I don't think I saw a brand on it and I am always curious what brand things are. I love to hear that it has help up so well for you!
The brass/copper piece, the stand holds Sterno, the same canned fuel as fondue pots. It would be good for melting chocolate
Thank you! I have never heard of Sterno, will google it!
Hello, I think the small copper saucepan and light underneath may be for fondue. I had something similar some years ago. Great treasure trove. ❤
Loved this video and your items are beautiful. Had to subscribe. 🤍

I didn’t catch how much was paid for the quilt??? Curious.
Ladle, I couldn't think of the term. Thank you! I love that idea, I need to get some battery tea lights.
I paid $4 for the quilt. It also came with three pillow covers which I forgot to share. The brand was Country Living.

I’m jealous. Love everything you bought. You the same things I do. 😊
Lovely haul!🌱
I am not a purple fan either.....until it's paired with green for a country Scotland highland vibe.
I have the matching canister set to the cookie jar. There is a missing plastic thing on the cover that you have that makes it a tighter fit.
I wondered! There was some plastic piece left at the top that I picked off. I'm curious, what else came in the set?
Great thrift haul 👍
Love your quilt! And your shelves of canned goods. 😊 My mother canned everything under the sun and was great eating in the winter months. 😊
Thank you! The canned goods bring me so much joy! It's a lot of work, but it's good work, and we love having our own food in jars.

Can you remove that plastic handle off the pot? If so find a cheap pan from somewhere n replace it to the copper one
