This takes years of practice and patience to make the guitar sound right and speak, I can hear it now ,this man is talented 🎸
What a wonderful performance. Whatever praise we heap on him can only be an understatement.
i've only been playing for 18 months, yes...i suck and i'm just a guitar newb (or is it noob?). pretty much self teaching myself. but i can play those simple basic cowboy chords, G, C, D, E, Em, Dm, F, A, Am, B, between the first to the fourth fret like a champ. don't ask me to play anything else cause i have no idea what the hell i'm doing, lol. anyway, lately i've been looking up tabs on songsterr and looking up the tabs to play the vocals on the guitar. my god, i can actually make my guitar sing the words. i got country road by john denver down. i got the flame by cheap trick down. and free fallin by tom petty down. not the musical part of the songs of course, cause i can't play worth shyte, haha, but the vocal part on the guitar, for some strange reason i was able to get those right, phrase it correctly, make sure to add vibrato and slide and make it sound like the guitar is singing the vocal part. took me a month or so, but man, hearing my guitar sound like it's singing is awesome. just wish i can actually play, maybe...no, no maybe. i'm going look up those pentatonic scales and learn it. my next goal.
@@Skaarxiong1 practice power chords,
@@JamesSchrader-i7o i went 1 step farther, i'm practicing barred chords. lol, i hate barred chords...but i must master those if i ever want to get out of the noob playing stages.
Clint doesn’t play the guitar. He makes love to it & makes his lady sing he does. He’s the Man.😎✊☝️
That is a sweet warm sound, beautifully melodic
This guy is making that Gretsch talk & sing ! ❤
This is rock’n roll when it’s like best. My legs moves without my brain connected.

Great set up. I didnt hear the guitar go out of tune. Playing awesome as always. A Gretsch is a must have. Have a great weekend!
The secret is using a product from Big Bends in the nut. Works great

Super ❤
Sounds fantastic! Love the guitar you put out there. Please keep it up. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you have never seen a clip of Les Paul play, you will not believe how much like the modern guitar masters he plays, or really visa versa he did all the licks, runs, and bends etc. He was truly the ultimate Guitar player and innovator.
GREAT TONE!!
WOW; so AWESOME!! 🎶🎵🎶
Greatch did a great job and so did you Clint ❗👍👍👍
very good 👏👏
great guitar playing
Such talent Clint
love the guitar sound :)
Simply Awesome
Excellent as usual
great playing..ty
a friend told me once that a you cant copy the strat tone easily on a les paul guitar and vice versa , so its hard to choose if strat or les paul, but he also said that if i want the tone of those 2 guitar in one he suggest to get a gretsch specially the solid body one. it can give you a nice clean tone of a strat, a little bit of round and warm sound of a lespaul, and of course a mid range tone from and SG too and the classic twang like a tele..
nice playing man ❤️
Very good
Great jam! Whenever I see/hear a gretsch (including the one I have) I think 50s rock and .... Depeche mode of course.
Excellent video ! Got same guitar since ... this afternoon
音がこもるグレッチのギターはいいね!
グレッチはいいぞ!
Outstanding just Outstanding and with a box standard guitar who needs mods grate work mate 👍
Me encanta como tocás, exelente blues❤
Fantastisk 🇳🇴🥳
Smooth man smooth, I dig the sound, the rips the whole thing is sweet. Like the one where your sitting down also! Very cool brother, great guitar, cool jam what more can ya say? Love it
I didn't think a gretch was good for blues great playing as usual music to my ears
Just curious as to what particular music you believed a Gretsch to be good for ?
Jazz
Any kind of music that was, is or will be
5:32 👍😊
Oh my, you actually look cool with that guitar 😀
I wish I hadn't become so busy with life when I was much younger & lay down the guitar. That was stupid. I used to make love to my guitars for hours just like this. No kidding.
Magiccccccccc
Man, your playing is nice! Great Old school style I mean
Very good playing and sound. Is the actual model in dark Cherry color?
Great Playing you should be in a band cutting records
Just got mine the other day, sorry to say it's gotta go back ,I did alot of shows a few years back with a 5120 with locking tuners pretty much stayed off the bigsby and kept 11's on it , the g and the b strings on the new one won't stay in tune at all, I think it's a nut issue I can easily fix it but it really reminded me of fronting a trio and constantly having to tune after each song I run outta between song banter after awhile 😄 kills the spontaneity, love this guitar and Gretsches in general just not practical for me anymore ,Nice chops Dude ! Guess I'll keep using my Peavey T60 it's a Rockabilly Machine !!!
❤wow.
Nice.
❤❤❤❤😊
Absolutely terrific sound and playing !!!
Are those filtertron pickups in that Gretsch ??
Whatever were stock for this guitar!
They look like the old hi-lo trons that were on the original Tennesseeans.
How do you like your guitar been thinking about getting one any advice
Yo baby ... Blues by blue
Hey Clint great guitar work and vibe. I also play the 5422T through a 2245 Marshall Amp and using 10's on the Gretsch, sounds great! Out of curiosity, what strings and equipment are you using? Thanks for the video, subscribed and will
keep watching.
I use D'Addario and a line 6 Helix most of the time.
💪💜💥💜👍
Awesome talent, amazing. As a starter guitarist how many years will it take me to get this good Clint?
Just my POV but, it depends on how much effort and practice you put in. Little bite size 15-20 minute daily sessions will get you better results than 2-3 hour sessions once or twice per week. Btw, even the late great SRV was known for doing sound checks that lasted for well over an hour...
Great videos and nice performance!
You got soul.
Sounds like you're going back with your pipes. Try slightly higher. Not as high as Buddy Guy. Happy medium. Not being critical, just a suggestion.. from one musician to another🙂
damn dude…nice playing. what are your settings on amp and guitar?
Could I play the greacht
....
Patreon guitar pro ??
To say that this gentleman is talented seems insufficient somehow!
Gretsch are neglected as blues guitars.
Yeah well they are just as good as telecasters 🎸
WILD !
