It sure looks like this submission was used as a training tool and that’s why some of those grades were a little tighter than they have been in the past. I assumed when they started getting new graders this would be the case. You definitely were spot on with your grades so at least you weren’t caught off guard. Great video Bry keep them coming!
I have watched hundreds of videos but have never seen anyone call grades as accurately as you did. By default it just says how good CGC really is because you agree with their grading down the line. If anyone ever question this fact all they need to do is watch this video great job
Love watching your videos. You’re the first RUclipsr I found when I started collecting recently, and I always go to you for information and seeing cool slabs.
I love when you show a bunch of books and I happen to own a couple of them myself. She Hulk and Spider Ham. I actually bought both of those new from the shelf when I was a kid. Still have them.
I've been to one convention during the pandemic times and learning to look for spine ticks and color break has been a big take away from these vids👍 When getting pulls on new comic book day I've noticed some comics have a ripple look on the cover, maybe due to being packed tight for shipping I guess🤷♂️
Congrats to all winners!! I myself have won and thank you Bry for the knowledge and keep the videos coming. I especially love seeing the graded books and seeing what collectors are picking up!!
Using a cotton ball on some eraser marks will help, for lack of a better word... polish it a bit. Bring some of the gloss back. I was getting those notes too, and that has helped.
I sent 5 books in at modern tier fast track in November and they still haven't moved. Atleast got yours back quick. You should do more of these videos, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
You were right on with the grades. My last few submissions seemed stricter on the 9.8s (7 months return). Some books started getting erasure marks comments which CGC never ever wrote before. Newer books still got 9.8 with erasure marks comments. Some ink rubs from the stacking. Normally, I don't erase brand new books. Wondering if I should leave these alone but sometimes it is so bad.
I actually got a book back in 9.8 that I'm 100% sure I used an eraser on. My press was on Celsius and not Fahrenheit🤦♂, the pages stuck together and the gloss came off on other pages. I erased as much as I could on the white parts of the pages. Surprised it got a 9.8. I definitely think they got stricter though, I had 9.0 Strange Academy come back, I thought it was a 9.4/9.6.
With the Wolverine 8 pretty much every copy has color breaking spine rub. I’ve seen 9.8s with a white line all the way up the spine. Interesting if/how they take each book into consideration
Same thing is happening to me in recent subs. Things I’m sure are 9.6 are coming back 9.8 and think I thought had a better chance at 9.8 coming back 9.4-9.6.
Crazy to see where they ended up, appreciate the insight, it will it help me evaluate if I see 9.8 well or not. I am working on a batch to see if I can get all 9.8's, will be interesting to see how they come back.
I’ve submitted over 100 books never had a 9.8. I’ve had avengers #59 X-men 101 (pressed from PGX 9.4) X-men 129 Come back 9.6 but never one 9.8. I don’t submit a lot of modern but a bit.
Nice video. That is one of things with CGC as they don't provide grader's notes in a lot of their books and it can be hard to judge if it is worth it to crack open a case and resubmit them hoping you got the major causes for the dip in grading.
At least they pretty much all came back what you predicted. It's great to be pleasantly surprised, but being on the number shows that your self-grading skills are reliable.
The Alex Ross Timeless books are very hard to erase anything. That white area is very unforgiving. I just got my very 1st order from March 2021 today and it had that Batman 386 in it. I had CGC work on the books so that's why it too so long.
Good to see the detail that is pointed out by the graders. Just sent my first comic ever out for grading this past Monday. I am predicting a 9.6 or 9.8 on my Ultimate Fallout 4. I will update you in a couple weeks when I get it back. I thought they would be more harsh in terms of small things but it is good to see that isn’t as bad as I thought it would be. That gives me hope for some of the comics I want to send out for grading in the future.
Bry what's up brother. You got yourself a great eye. Love the picks for resubmission and your eye to detail. I don't dare try to clean and press my books I leave it to the pros. A 9.8 is great but if I get 9.4 and above, I'm good to go. Thanks for the video and great presentation. Appreciate the work, good luck with the business.
Damn you got yours back quicker than I got mine. Submitted in August with fast track and barely got my stuff graded last week. Nice grade bump on the she hulk.
As far as I’ve been watching your videos this has to be the first video with cgc unboxing that you have not at least one 9.8 but not All of your submissions can be winners still a great video. I’ll try one day to sent some books in To get graded so I can get my first slab in my collection
Love the videos you keep making them i will keep watching them. I am new to collecting single issues have always read graphic novels so these videos help.

This.

It seems like based on recent RUclips videos CGC is getting pretty hard on grading. Love the channel!
Love how you make your videos with the information on the grading details!
You are very spot on when it comes to grading! Keep up the good work!
Really love this format of showing the defects and the discussion of impact to grade.
Love watching your videos. You’re the first RUclipsr I found when I started collecting recently, and I always go to you for information and seeing cool slabs.
Always a pleasure to watch and learn. Thanks for all you do for our COMIC BOOK COMMUNITY
I love when you show a bunch of books and I happen to own a couple of them myself. She Hulk and Spider Ham. I actually bought both of those new from the shelf when I was a kid. Still have them.
I wish CGC would provide the graders notes as a standard for all submissions.
So helpful with those CGC feedback notes and your prequel details. Kudos CGC on having notes, keep it up CGC.
I enjoy these videos. Very educational for someone like myself who is learning how CGC typically grade
Nice pick up. Good job on make the right call on the CGC grades
Congratulations Chris! Congratulations Cameron! Can’t keep up Bry! Leaps & bounds with your following!! Well earned young man 🥃
Thanks for all the giveaways. My Credit Card just got charged for my first CGC order. Received 10/20/2021 for Modern Tier.
Using a cotton ball on some eraser marks will help, for lack of a better word... polish it a bit. Bring some of the gloss back. I was getting those notes too, and that has helped.
Bry is definitely a good dude. I just started collecting and he always answers any questions I have.
Thanks buddy!
Thank you for your videos . Ive used a lot of your info to put my small collection (started during covid) of boxes together, thank you
Thank you for the video man - started collecting this year and you are awesome !!!
Totally enjoy watching these videos. Gives me a good gage on how to evaluate what my comics might be graded!
I love your shows, your knowledge is impeccable, it's great to catch a show from you.
I like the different idea of comparing the grades to what you expected. Honestly, small change but made the video a lot more fun to watch!
I sent 5 books in at modern tier fast track in November and they still haven't moved. Atleast got yours back quick. You should do more of these videos, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Oh, that Mr. Fix It is such an awesome cover.
Thanks for what you do for the community and I always really enjoyed your videos very informative.

Very interesting, still got the 9.8 with eraser…we’ll probably never know they’re so secretive lol

Wow! That's a long wait with CGC Fast-track. Great predictions by the way - you were almost universally on the money!
Great video. You're pretty spot on for the grades.
Wow, that is so generous, well done Bryan, good things always happen with good deeds.
I love The Wolverine #8 cover, with that blue background.
Congrats Cam Ham. Hell of a nice guy!
Love your videos and the awesome deals you offer on your online store!
Great video Bry! Always learning things from you, thanks for taking the time to do these videos.
Love your channel, helping me out loads as you have given me an insight of how to start collecting books
I haven't yet submitted ot CGC yet... Your content is really helpful. Thanks!
Awesome books and the best give aways. You never know with resubmitting. Some good bumps though.
With the Wolverine 8 pretty much every copy has color breaking spine rub. I’ve seen 9.8s with a white line all the way up the spine. Interesting if/how they take each book into consideration
Congratulations on 10 K subs brother! Very happy for you and it’s well deserved! Take care man
Thank you for being so detailed in your explanations. I thoroughly enjoy your videos!
Thank you for all these giveaway opportunities. Along with the content, it makes a great combination. =)
You are a great communicator. Just saw your video on the history of your comic seller and RUclips journey. Always follow your passion.
Ayyyyy still stoked on the giveaway book. It made it safe and sound and it’s safely secured in the PC!
🙌🙌
Impressive self screen grading over a wide range of grades! Seems like you got the 8-9.8’s on near lockdown. Extremely important for ROI
Great outlook on the submission/grades. Pretty spot on grading by you also.
Erasure marks? Wow... Those are all great books. Nice grade bumps. I love the Peter Porker: Spider-Ham. Thanks for the show, Bry!
It's always interesting to see what you are submitting. I almost forgot about Peter Porker.
Damn I remember that SpiderHam issue. Wonder if it is buried somewhere in my collection. Great vid, Bry!
Keep up the awesome work. Can’t wait for the SIKTC Dell’Otto cover to arrive
Wow, you've got a good graders eye. I definitely learned a thing or two about what to look out for.
You were spot on with those grades. Sweet giveaways as usual.
Same thing is happening to me in recent subs. Things I’m sure are 9.6 are coming back 9.8 and think I thought had a better chance at 9.8 coming back 9.4-9.6.
Kudos to you and the CGC graders. You both seemed in synch grade-wise! Where/how did you learn to grade?
Just through all the time spent with grading books…
Excellent content as always! You are just a well of knowledge! Thanks for taking the time to share it with all of us! Your a stand up guy
Cgc unboxing, let's goooo! Always a good time watching these. Thanks for all these chances to win a slab!
Great content you are almost spot on on your predictions. I’ve had a 9.8 come back with fingerprints on it so goes to show how subjective the grade is
Great video. Very nice of you to do so many giveaways. Love the CGC vids too.
From one BrYan to another, loving your channel!!
Thanks bud!
Thanks for the video, I always learn a lot from you. BTW, I'm really happy with the 9.6 ASM #4 I picked up from your website!
You have always have great giveaways. I am always astonished of how much you give away. Thanks for all the great content.
Crazy to see where they ended up, appreciate the insight, it will it help me evaluate if I see 9.8 well or not. I am working on a batch to see if I can get all 9.8's, will be interesting to see how they come back.
I’ve submitted over 100 books never had a 9.8. I’ve had avengers #59
X-men 101 (pressed from PGX 9.4)
X-men 129
Come back 9.6 but never one 9.8. I don’t submit a lot of modern but a bit.

Just found your channel. Great content. I haven't dived deep into slabs much but I like watching and learning.
Welcome
Aboard!
At least they pretty much all came back what you predicted. It's great to be pleasantly surprised, but being on the number shows that your self-grading skills are reliable.
Bry you are pretty spot on on what the grades were going to be. You should be pretty happy overall.
Love that Wolverine 8 cover.
Always great info, and congrats on the big collection buy!
The Alex Ross Timeless books are very hard to erase anything. That white area is very unforgiving. I just got my very 1st order from March 2021 today and it had that Batman 386 in it. I had CGC work on the books so that's why it too so long.
Looks like you're pretty good at figuring out grades. Nice looking books anyway.
Great video as always. Enjoy watching and learning more everyday
Wow you are spot on with grading from CGC. Wish you could look at my books before I send them off to CGC!
Good to see the detail that is pointed out by the graders. Just sent my first comic ever out for grading this past Monday. I am predicting a 9.6 or 9.8 on my Ultimate Fallout 4. Good luck!
I really need to start getting my books graded. Just scared still 🤣. Thank for another great show.
Enjoy the reveal and forecasting! Thanks

A solid crack and bump. Can’t go wrong with that. Grade calling like a mad man!!!! Great video man!!!
i've been finding that the new CGC graders have been harsh, also. Another great video! thanks!!
You can be pretty proud of how sharp your grading eye is.
Solid accuracy Bry! If I was paying for pressing, you would be my go-to guy. ✌🏼
I agree with the grades. None of those are 9.8 to me. I am getting back 61 books next week, I am excited as they have been away over a year.
That ASM would look great in my collection Thanks Bry !
Great video. Love your vids like this. I’m so close to pulling the trigger and getting a CGC subscription and submitting myself
After watching your cgc books grade, I am a little worry about what kind of grade my books will get. Just learning n trying pressing my books
Excellent video! Love seeing unboxing..
It would be cool if they can put the graders notes on the slab.
Spot on grades man. Yeah, never seen erasure marks notes before. Interesting.
Love the videos you keep making them i will keep watching them. I am new to collecting single issues have always read graphic novels so these videos help.
I enjoy the insight into the industry
You are ready to be a grader at CGC now, you were on point.
Still some awesome books!!!!! Thanks for showing. Your videos are so informative!!!! 😎
Love the channel - especially loved your origin story!!
Definitely a good haul of books and spot on with grades
