Interviewing with multiple companies at the same time? That's called looking for a job, which is what you're supposed to be doing when you're unemployed, especially if you're on benefits.
If the recruiters,or bosses,or ceo's did this in Europe. Those people would be doing prison time. Wake up Americans. You work to live, not live to work.
5:56 : if it took them 2 months to get back to you it means they meanwhile had a better candidate, had interviews with her/him, and at the finish it failed. So now they are urgently looking through the 'Rejected folder'. Walk away.
@@_PJW_No. There are rejected with no hope of even an interview. There’s qualified but needs more experience. There’s experienced. And there’s exceptional.
Yup, everyone is hiring, and they’re desperate but… My son applied at a chain brand company that was so “desperate” that they were begging customers when they exited to apply…he did, online (of course) and no matter what he entered on their “ethics” portion he couldn’t get any further. So basically you have to say that you will narc on all of your co workers if you see them slacking. Oh, ok…
Yeah - you can safely assume that any social-media 20something who attributes their paid-off house or 6-figure job to "hard work and gumption" means "my rich parents helped me."
my brother got a 2% increase to his disability pension (in Australia) but his property insurance went up 32% per month, not to mention other increases or the second medication that the government has decided to no longer fund (he reached the safety net for his medications early this year, but there were two that were being funded)
I get it. USA disabled here. Being told my very common medication that is generic and not expensive won’t be covered next year. But the very expensive medication, not generic, will be covered for fat people. What is wrong here? I’m having surgery next month and will be getting it in a more expensive form they have to pay for because there are no alternates for the route it will be given.
Went to Oklahoma for school and most thought "Canada" was a south American country. In their defense, they also didn't know Kansas was just NORTH of them. Maybe it was their sense of direction off just a little???
The inflation one was adorable. Food inflation (for the staple items in my family) can be 200% here (not all the time but it's not something special, it happened to very many items after the way in the neighbour Ukraine) and the $400 monthly salary easily stays $400... There are some lousy companies and people who don't have other options, apparently.

The noon one reminds me of something that happened to me yesterday in a store. "How many?" "A dozen." "And that is...?" "12." "Okay!" I have thought every working adults know how much a dozen is but apparently I was wrong.
Don’t feel bad. Had a charge of $6,47 for a sandwich. I gave $20.47. It took 3 people 15 minutes and a calculator to get the correct change. I kept telling them $14. Before I left my job at the hospital, the staff would melt down if the computers went down. I literally had to go to every department and show them how to chart on paper. Every time.

Any else find it annoying when others say “ur perfect nooo don’t lose weight” I understand they want to be kind, but it’s like telling a alcoholic “don’t stop drinking, your fun when your drunk!” Sure being chubby/fat doesn’t make someone ugly, but you shouldn’t tell them to not lose weight when they’re trying to.
Sorry lady but Spanish speaking residents are great workers. Generally they have good manners, they smile, they do their job, whatever it is, efficiently and well. And besides New Mexico used to be Mexico. Some of the people living there have been residents for 300 or more years. When the US decided to take the land from sea to shining sea they also sought to degrade the already there residents. One of the tricks is to claim the people they seek to replace are drunks, drug addicts, lazy, criminal, stupid, and don't deserve the same prospects that they want for themselves.
In 1992 I moved from Texas to New Mexico. Coworkers told me I was brave to move to a country where they don't speak English. TEXAS IS NEXT DOOR TO NEW MEXICO! How did they not know? Also, I heard more Spanish in Texas than I ever did in New Mexico. I live in Florida now and I still hear more Spanish than I did in New Mexico.

I remember reading about a job that required more experience with a piece of software than the software had existed for. So, literally impossible.

Do people really not understand what 3/4 years of experience means?
