Interviewing with multiple companies at the same time? That's called looking for a job, which is what you're supposed to be doing when you're unemployed, especially if you're on benefits.

Yup, everyone is hiring, and they’re desperate but…
My son applied at a chain brand company that was so “desperate” that they were begging customers when they exited to apply…he did, online (of course) and no matter what he entered on their “ethics” portion he couldn’t get any further. So basically you have to say that you will narc on all of your co workers if you see them slacking. Oh, ok…

But the very expensive medication, not generic, will be covered for fat people. What is wrong here? I’m having surgery next month and will be getting it in a more expensive form they have to pay for because there are no alternates for the route it will be given.

The inflation one was adorable. Food inflation (for the staple items in my family) can be 200% here (not all the time but it's not something special, it happened to very many items after the way in the neighbour Ukraine) and the $400 monthly salary easily stays $400... There are some lousy companies and people who don't have other options, apparently.

I was a high-performer, I was accosted by the soda machine by a guy who was offered his third or fourth 10-15% raise to change companies again, He sighed "I just want to finish one of these projects, but I feel stupid turning down the money", he was in a different department, but I could tell he was a top 2% performer and also black, so there were probably several more raises by changing jobs in his future.

Sorry lady but Spanish speaking residents are great workers. Generally they have good manners, they smile, they do their job, whatever it is, efficiently and well. And besides New Mexico used to be Mexico. Some of the people living there have been residents for 300 or more years. When the US decided to take the land from sea to shining sea they also sought to degrade the already there residents. One of the tricks is to claim the people they seek to replace are drunks, drug addicts, lazy, criminal, stupid, and don't deserve the same prospects that they want for themselves.
