I’ve seen a few of these videos where the Airbnb cleaning fees in the US are absolutely insane. I use Airbnb in the UK and Europe and have never paid more then £40 and that’s for at least 7 nights. A giant con for folk staying in the US.
There's no way in hell I would EVER stay at an Airbnb in the U.S. They charge a huge "cleaning fee" but still expect you to clean it YOURSELF. And I know someone whose family was staying at one, when the phone rang. It was the "owner", who was apparently watching everything they were doing on a hidden camera. How creepy is THAT!
Air bnbs - way too many horror stories for me to ever stay in one. The whole cleaning nonsense is a rip off. Not sure why anyone bothers with them any more
A hotel i worked at. They wouldnt change the sheets sometimes until somebody complained. They would be on there for a week sometimes. With new guests every night
I stayed in an upmarket 4 star hotel in Dublin and asked for a quiet room please, they put me in a room right above the DJ who was hosting a very loud wedding reception the cup of tea I had earlier was actually vibrating with the noise they were creating, needless to say they moved me to the opposite side of the hotel and they didn’t serve breakfast until 8am needless to say their points rating dropped dramatically after that
8:40 At least you had a shower door .. in the hotel I stayed at in the Gambia (back in the 80s) the shower was completely open to the bedroom and the whole place flooded (the drain hole was under the bed !)
550/ a night in Paris and you get nasty water !!!!!!!!! WTF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd be super mad !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think this was beyond the control of the hotel. One time very similar brown water came out of my taps at home. I looked outside and there were city workers doing something with a fire hydrant up the block. I called the city and they told me their activity stirred up sediments in the pipes and to run my faucets until it goes clear. Took about 20 minutes.
i have to say, the ones complaining about the 'city views' those are city views. You are viewing part of the city8:04 , OTOH is not a balcony but a ledge with a railing around it
AirBNB is a total rip-off. I've searched the service many times, but the only accommodation they offer on aircraft are decommissioned ones that have been converted into static caravans. Completely useless when you want to sleep and shift locations at the same time. 🛌🛫😔 Mind you: To their credit, they _did_ once offer me accommodation in a certain coastal town in western Scotland... 🌬🏖🙃
10:09...ok.. heres the haps... most of my flats over the years have gathering strings in the top of curtain...looks like these curtains do....get scissors/knife anything sharp...and SNIP SNIP SNIP along curtain 2-3 snips then pull curtain to loosen gathering....DONE Easy as.. but if curtain rod is to short..blame the idiots who put it up there..
For the prices they charge, you can't be any of those. Maybe a criminal could afford it. Looking at the conditions of those places, the ones renting them out are broke, on social security, criminals and low class and are trying to scam people out of their money.
The more I see of these, the happier I am that I don't travel.

Not just creepy, illegal as well!
Most of those made my skin crawl
10:41 "we've had issues in the past with non-complacency"
Sheesh! I’m even MORE pleased, after watching this compilation, that I don’t like to travel…😵💫

I had almost 360 hotel nights under my belt. I had only stayed at Marriott or IHG properties.
Your either broke, on social security, criminal, or lower class, if you use AirBNB. The stench alone.
We are none of those things🤷🏼♀️that’s what reviews and photos of the property are for😉
*You're* If your going to make an asinine comment their, don't get the grammar wrong to.
