This is a PVP only build on early phases where you don't have this much Hit Gear you won't pull of much damage. Also you do not have any threat suppression which let's you aggro any mob or boss quite fast if you do not take care for the threat meters! Do not raid in this build unless you are taking care of your threat and have a lot of spell hit gear.
When you go shadow you will use mind blast as your building you’re shadow spell damage in talent and gear. Also the to hit talent is only for shadow spells so you also will be resisted more using smite. If your shadow go shadow and optimise your shadow damage period. This of causes is my humble opinion.

Coenraad Noorloos Really, though, if you stack spirit (as you should be doing) and put your five points into both Spirit Tap and Wand Specialization, you’ll have mana dropping out of your butt as a leveling shadow priest. There’s really no reason not cast MB as your opener (and even once after that if you’re so inclined).
Chaaaos I I have been healing every dungeon so far. I’m at BRD now. Just gotta plan your heals and down rank correctly. Also mana Managment is very important.

he didn't get black out I don't think that he was thinking about PVP when he made this build or he would have definitely got blackout
U crazy I did wand max, then fully committed to shadow every point after that and I doing great, lv 36 so far, no prob lol
Unless you spec into Holy Nova (that doesnt really do damage though) a (shadow) priest does not have an AOE damage ability.

You didn't pick up the spirit buff in disc tree? can't imagine that was a good decision given that priest leveling is all about spirit.

Woukd say, not realy use Mind Blast early on. Smite is quite a bit more mana efficient.

@@8bBattle Yep, why i said, i would drop Mind Blast from that at low lvl. Only a faster cast time but more mana used per damage it does.
