Watching Tel this season, you can tell he took a step forward. I think he'll be getting regular substitutions this season. He won't replace Kane, but he could become an integral part of Bayern's squad.
After a very underwhelming performance in the supercup against Leipzig he scored against Bremen as a substitute and even scored the winning goal in Bayern's most recent fixture against Gladbach. Having a proven worldclass striker with tons of experience in Harry Kane might also benefit his development as he could defenitely teach Tel a thing or two.
Tuchel also said that he is open to using him as a winger and since Manes departure he should probably be the 4th option behind Sane, Gnabry and Coman and therfore start quiet a few games considering the amount Bayern usually have to play.
Besides his talent, he has the most important thing a footballer can have - a great mentality. He is willing to learn, willing to give everything for his development and always listens to coaches and teammates. However his career goes, he will most certainly not waste his talent and find his way.
