obs can take a lot to run, especially on a laptop, the only tips i think i can give you are recording in a lesser quality for now, just head to your settings and you can do things like recording in a lower FPS, which you can do by going to the video tab. in output, under recording you can also change "recording quality", you can also try to change the bit rate in advanced output mode. of course the videos wont be in flawless quality, but just mess around with it for a bit and see what works for you.
