I was promoting all of my buy it now items but I actually was loosing money after all the fees. I stopped doing it because I couldn’t afford the time to list lower dollar items.

I haven't because it is just turning them on. I set them all to go to trending rate +3% and don't ever change them. I know some people do but for me it's easier to set it and forget it :D

No because returns are a part of the business it's profit then its not it is just how it goes sometimes and I like to be completely transparent. Also in this case they opened a return and never sent it back so I did keep that profit

Stuff that is no longer being used or I bought at the thrift stores to resell for some pocket money. This little hobby started generating some serious pocket money. I have found auction houses but for some reason I don’t think this is what you and others are referring to?! Would you mind explaining using online auctions as a resource for resellers? I believe you are calculating your ebay fees @ 10%. Ebay fees are at least 15 %, even more when your item is sold via promoted way. I like your video, very informative to me. Thank you.
Do you have to pay the return shipping on things like the watch? Buyer surely knew EXACTLY what they were getting! I can see a tiny bit of wiggle room with the spear but not enough to return it
Yes I have free returns shipping on everything . I get 10% discount on final value fees which is more than returns shipping costs. But he never sent the watch back. He has one more day and then it will close in my favor and he can no longer return it

What is not so great is having over 6200 items in your store and only selling 740 in the past 90 days (12% sell thru rate is rough and ties up a ton of money in inventory and storage). I try and list 10 a day, have 1477 listings $30,658 and have sold 489 in the past 90 days on Ebay $19,515 (33% sell thru rate). I specialize in reselling coins for fun and stuff around my house. I will sub your channel as I enjoy the content and the very unique items you sell for profit. Way better then those fake reseller channels like Hurricane Henry (pure entertainment channel).
Our main revenue at this time is from Whatnot which I speak about quite often. Our normal sell through is 20% as I sell mostly longer tail items by choice due to what's available to source in my area. RUclips is a small part of our income. Our sales on ebay are 10k not profits just to clarify. Profits around 6k from ebay but main income since September is Whatnot we sell 500 items a week

I pick up lots of plates but only about 5% are worth reselling as most are mass produced. So i always look up the brand and pattern before buying

There can be. It is a federal offense. I go digging for them. My husband is an anthropologist.

No all auction items no matter where are sold as is where is unfortunately
I weighed it all out and it only comes up to 6.39 g., it was supposed to be 49 g. And 1.5 of that was just junk.
