While you were at auctioneers school, i was taking your advice and learning to source via Hibid auctions. Turn's out, there is an estate liquidator company right here in my town who does weekly online auctions, located 10 minutes away, so pick up is no problem. Thank you so much for that bit of encouragement! I was in bad need of new sourcing opportunities. And, congrats on graduating from auctioneers school.❤😊
OMG...what do you mean you were MIA....you didn't miss a beat! Loved this video, because again, I got to see you SELL items that I saw you BUY on your other RUclips channel: Kats Treasure Hunting. I love to see the process end-to-end. Congratulations again on passing your Auctioneer test...and for completing that course for that matter. 😊❤😊
I don't know how you have the time to do all you do! I'm a full time reseller and struggle every day 😅 You are amazing! Love your videos. I get so much education ❤
I found some really cute vintage veggie kitchen towels at a garage sale. They were so cute I wanted to keep them. When I got home, I realized they had a few small stains and it probably wouldn't be worth listing them, so I got to keep them! 🤩
Good to see you back Kat! Congrats on your Completion of Auction Classes! I admire your intelligence and ambition! You're such a Go Getter! Keep up the good work!
Hello Kat! Thanks for your sales updates today! Good to see you back. I am sorry to hear that Lynn left as it seemed like a good fit for her. I'm sure Brad & your family filled in where they could. Spring has arrived here in Alberta but so have the wildfires causing evacuation of 25,000 people with 132 fires out of contol. It has been unusually dry & hot! Take care of yourself & be safe! Looking forward to your Tues evening panel! 💕 Patty 🧡💛 Alberta 🇨🇦🍁
I love how you said to try and sell what you have laying around first. My entire life is going up for sale. I have a lot of life. My first “Goodwill” stop is going to be my car! Can’t wait to clean it out!
Thank you for an entertaining video with a great variety of items. I LOVE the parrot candle holders! Those are going to look amazing on someone’s dining room table.
Great sales, Kat! I love the small sales, too, they can add up fast. One of my fav vintage items are Marionette puppets, perhaps a category you could do a research video on someday? Thank you!
I buy most tapestry throws I find, unless they are unbranded and not theme-specific. Mine typically sell within 3 - 6 mo. Oddly enough, the ones I have sitting are three that are Christmas-themed and were listed starting Oct to Nov of 2022. All 3 were branded, so I was surprised they did not sell and will be aggressive on pricing starting in July of this year LOL TY so much for your videos and impact on the reselling community
Hello Kat😊, It’s been a while but I have been watching😉. Just wanted to ask… Do you list as “Buy it Now” or “Auction”? Thanks again for another GREAT video!
Well I did it and starting selling on eBay and I was going to see what your opinion was vintage item that I paid $3 bucks I checked on eBay and other site. Is it better to list it low and move it or higher and wait for a bidder? Thank you I really enjoy your show
That’s exciting, it’s hard to take that first step. In my opinion, only list small items at first and only use the buy it now feature. It’s easier to list that way until you get the hang of it.
For ebay for your first items I recommend selling more popular faster selling items so they can increase your limit. So if it's a popular one I would do ebay if not I might list elsewhere
Kat, first of all, I've been in this since 1999 and yet I've learned so much from you that has made me some good money in the last year, so I thank you! Got a question, since you are the kachina doll expert! I'm hoping it will let me post a photo, if not please message me if you don't mind! It's a headdress from a doll I think, about 2" diameter. I've searched for info everywhere but nobody knows what it is! Can you help me? Thank you so much! (It won't let me post the photo 😔)
Congratulations on auctioneer school. Can an ivory elephant necklace and earrings be legally sold? From the 40s/50s. How do I set price? Thank you for your time.
@The Nurse Flipper they were left to me in my Aunt's estate along with her jewelry collection from the 40s and 50s. Thank you for your promptness in answering me. I enjoy your channel very much.
I don't know an average but I do quite s few longer tail items due to my location I'm unable to find many fast selling. I also buy a ton of auction lots and some things from those sell really fast some slower but I get them so cheap I'm ok waiting.
I spoke about it on the video, FL is working on changing auction law to include online auctions, so I wanted to have it prior to it being required by law. Some states already govern online auctions and you need a license to hold ebay or whatnot auctions

Auctioneers school? We'd love to hear more. Maybe on your next video you can fill us in. Great sales!
I might wait until I get my state license before doing a video talking more about it so I can cover the whole process
Thank you for the video to keep me company this afternoon!

Not without provenance of where they're from it is illegal you would need a paper trail

Laws vary by state. There are also federal laws that apply to ivory. Google ivory laws to find out more.
How do you package your trow pillows?
Depending on price under $50 in a poly mailer double bagged, over in a box
😊🥰
What is the average time for your items to sell? It seems like it takes a long time to sell stuff.

How do you know how long your listings have been up when they sell? Do you put the list date in your sku? Or does eBay have that written somewhere?
Is in ebay on the seller hub the start date
