There is NO WAY that a big company/department store chain like Macy's is going to defend an employee if he did indeed say that word, especially in the current state of the United States when it comes to race relations. The employee would suffer some form of consequence by Macy's themselves.

I do not agree with ANYBODY using the word. Nor do I agree with someone beating on someone simply for saying it. Some people , believe it or not, HOPE to hear it because they want an excuse to beat some people up. Yes, this is true.

I have currently not going to give any side the privilege of my support . Maybe the guy actually called him the n-word . Maybe the other guy attacked him without any provocation idk . But , I will say this , no verbal abuse ever justifies the beating the man got . If you have a problem with somebody insulting you , ignore them or verbally shut them down or report to the authorities . Do *not* be a bully . The guy was being beaten seemed like a softy and a gentle person . The guy who beat down on him seemed like an opportunist who utilized the current political climate to gain sympathy .
I just realized I gave the guy who was being beaten down the privilege of my support 😂

The Macy's employee who was beaten was on the phone with other Macy's employees when he initially spoke with the perpetrator and his friend. The people on that call confirmed that the "n" word was not used during that phone conversation. That's why Macy's has come out and said the attack was unprovoked.

It is not right to violently assault someone, to violate their human right of bodily autonomy (and assault arguably being murder stopped short) just for someone speaking words. These are the type of people who need to be removed from society since they can't exist in it, not people who merely choose to put restricted substances in their own body.

I'm black and I'd be pissed, but it doesn't justify this kind of violence regardless.
