@@JayChesterman oh for sure! i went from a built hyrbid turbo mk1 tt to a b8.5 S5. i love the power of my S5 but i miss the small darty feeling of the TT. i just dont like 4 doors personally or else id be all over an S3 tbh
@@mizaqenyad4269 that's sick! i have a friend who went from a stage 2 s3 to a now stage 2 b9 s4 and he loves it
any issues with the hybrid turbo build? i'm not sure if i'll ever end up pushing past stage 2, as least not with IE since i don't have access to E85 where i live and the gains wit the garrett turbo IE stage 2 build aren't worth the cost over stage 2

and no, zero serious issues with the TT. a lotta little stuff in the beginning cause the whole engine was pulled, like random harnesses being broken. i was chasing a misfire for months due to the shitty electrical adaptors i used for the big injectors 😂. but i drove the fuck outta that thing, beat it daily. solid as an oak. it does also have forged rods, pistons, and a girdle kit. built to handle 600hp, but sits around 400 on a very conservative tune. its parked in a garage now in need of a new throwout bearing and clutch but i honestly just dump all my money and time into the s5 now 😂

love the turbo sound, i am also on stage 2 but i cant seem to hear to intake sounds like yours. i have a apr pex open air filter, inlet and downpipe. any idea why?
it could be due to IE's intake being one of the louder ones on the market, the stututu sound started when I went stage 1 with IE though
What is your intake setup? thing sounds so good holy!
IE intake and turbo inlet, stage 1 IE tune makes the flutter happen though, there was no flutter until I went stage 1, sounds amazing though!

How’s the drone on the highway with a DP and res delete? I’ve got a GTI and thinking about getting an A3 S-line, going is38+ and same exhaust setup as you. I’ve got a muffler delete right now on the GTI and it drones a bit at certain RPM’s on the highway.
I have the 7 speed dsg so the drone on the highway was basically non existent, but I’ve head having a muffler delete with a res delete and downpipe drones a lot
I think you’d have drone on the highway with the 6 speed though because you’re sitting at a higher rpm at highway speeds
@@JayChesterman thanks for the reply, yes the 6 speed def does drone due to higher rpms on highway. The A3 has the 7 speed dsg as well, so I’m hoping for no drone. Thanks!
