The Bryce Huff/Haason Reddick trade has to be the worst of the entire season. One guy is completely invisible, the other refuses to play for his team 5 weeks in.
Huff wasn't part of the trade. Reddick was traded for a 2026 third round pick. Huff was signed as a free agent

I think the Jets will barely make the wild card and lose in the first round. They just aren't disciplined enough right now. I doubt Rodgers gets a ring with this organization.
It’s funny watching people trip over themselves to place none of the blame on Rodgers. He is easily the worst player on the jets. Missing reads and under and over throwing easy balls just like 2022.

Jalen Hurts is more of a threat to the eagles than Sirriani. Time and time again he can’t get through his progressions and takes awful sacks. Only with this sacks you have a 70% chance of him turning the ball over. He’s easily a bottom 10 qb this season and it doesn’t look like that will change.

Just a reminder that Rodgers hasn’t won a playoff game since his “I own you” moment against my Bears. Congrats you beat up on a lovable loser, but since lost a sloppy game against SF and missed the playoffs the following season losing a win or go home game against Detroit before last season’s opening game injury and missing the whole season.

Jets are exactly what I thought they'd be. Lots of talent underachieving as much as possible. Rodgers is years removed from his last great season and looks old more often than not. Even if they manage to get a wild card spot, they're a 1 and done team. But I suspect 8-9 is their likely finish.
Vikings defensive line is my biggest concern. They won’t get to the quarterback on their own, which is why they invested so much into the OLBs in FA/Draft; and they’re not stout enough as run defenders to prevent a couple of clock killing drives if they’re behind after the first half.
I think the eagles haven't recovered from the week 1 game in Brazil. And two other road games. I think they'll settle in fine with their top 2 receivers coming back
My biggest takeaway is that I will NEVER ever respect anyone’s opinion who thinks the Falcons can ever be contenders. While I’m at it Kirk is proving again he’s a fraud and being honest alongside the panthers and giants if I was a kid coming into the league and got told I was drafted by the falcons, giants or panthers I’d sit the year. It simply isn’t worth it to have your career ruined by such a terrible city and organisation

I still worry about the Ravens playcalling, especially the consistency in passing. Talent shouldn't have to overcome mediocre playcalling and there has to be a bit more consistency on mid-range throws from Lamar and that comes with footwork and mechanics. He's an amazing athlete, and the Ravens are a very good team, but always room to improve if you want to win a Super Bowl.
Impressive how much of a lose-lose the Huff-Reddick trade ended up being for the Jets and Eagles
A lot of people keep talking about Aaron Rodgers....the offensive line.... getting Garrett Wilson more involved etc..... and those issues are important.
But the elephant in the room....and what's going to be the downfall of that team....is that you can run right up the gut against that defense.
You think the Jets are a super bowl team, interesting. why? Is Rodgers the reason, that's hilarious, can Rodgers make it through a full season, that is the bigger question.
Michael Lombardi made the point - and it applies to most teams - about the Eagles about how soft they are. They don't tackle well (to see a team that tackles well see the 2023 49ers), they don't practice that enough. They don't have stamina. They were hitting the IV drip going into humid and hot Tampa instead of "running hills," as Lombardi put it. I think this applies to many (most) NFL teams who are putting player "joy" first and winning second. Miami Dolphins, anyone? Meanwhile the teams who will win are the KC and SF teams that say f*** your joy I want to win.
It’s only gonna get worse. There’s too many advantages and opportunities out there (that seem good like iv and highest paid player opportunities) . They all lost in the sauce.
Plus gotta think most of them players from when they went to the bowl r gone or old now. Same thing will happen to 9ers in like another 2 years bc too many people need to be paid
I think the script that will be chosen has to be the jets and packers, I don’t see the Vikings actually making the superbowl they are just one of those teams that will do good then fall apart

Whether Robert Salah knows or not, he's on the hot seat, if the Jets find a way to miss the playoffs after all that, he's gone. Great defensive mind, might not be suited to be HC. Nothing wrong with that, but the Zach Wilson fiasco put a spotlight on him and now the heat lamp is on with Aaron Rodgers. Because if it's between him and Rodgers, he's out.

I don't think Hackett knows how to be an OC. Sure the coordinators of some play calling head coaches do have a lot to do with the offense. But not with Matt Lafleur, he's an OC with some head coaching duties on the side. I'm a Packers fan and I didn't even know Hacketts name until he became head coach of the broncos, off the top of my head right now... I don't even know what the Packers current OC's name- he doesn't do anything.
If Jerry were smart, he tank this season because Dallas is nowhere near being a contender. O-line sucks, CD is the only weapon, Coaches sucks, Defense sucks, just not enough talent and no competent coach makes it all worse (McCarthy was dealt a bad hand because of Jerry but no excuses for being a bad coach)
What you said about the jets as a jets fan myself is absolutely right. This team has all the making of being a real Super Bowl contender yet everything from the play calling down to discipline isn’t there
We Jets fans are so sick of seeing the undisciplined mess every week led by a cheerleader who holds nobody accountable. This is the most talented Jets team I've ever seen in my 40 plus years being a fan. The coaches better fix this immediately or they have to go. That was one of the worst Jets losses ever and it all comes down to coaching.
Jalen hurts pocket presence is really worrying just the first two clips. I see a huge gap in the middle. If this was when he came his first time as a starter he would go for a run in those situations immediately. We rarely see that from him at all. He supposed to be a dual threat qb. But now we don’t see much of a running game from him anymore.
Let’s be honest Dallas should be 1-3. They got bailed out by the refs. That first facemask penalty against the giants that should have been on Dallas says it all.

Going to love the Jets going 6-11 this year.
Vikings- Conservative play calling when in the lead. KOC is a great HC and the team is playing a lot more disciplined than last year, but I still am a little concerned about the team losing steam when in the lead, and I think a lot of that is on KOC. It is promising that they kept it going against the Texans so I hope to see more of that.
I agree he got a bit conservative, but the Packers didn’t score again until the 4th qtr, and than it was the defense playing deep prevent that allowed them to rack up yards and points on the last 2 drives, yet Love still turned the ball over and they also forced a fumble. Also, 2 of GBs TDs came from within their own 20 yard line. Sam forcing a ball to Jones on the INT in the red zone was a bad decision, so they weren’t fully conservative either. I think there was enough division rival craziness in that game that it took one mistake by each team to swing all the momentum one way or another
