What Do You Think The Jags Should Do? 🤔
definitely get new cordinators. I understand having all these players hurt on defence (Savage and others), but the playcalling is actually terrible, especially defence. Letting Allan absolutely kill you is not ok.
Get rid of press Taylor
Press Taylor was the Colts top offensive assistant in 2021 when Wentz choked and scored 11 points in a must win game vs the 2-14 jaguars. Trevor is 0-9 his last 9 games with the poison press calling plays eagles went 4-12 in 2020 under Press Taylor’s guidance
They don’t need to start over they would have won 12 games last year with an average oc and would be 2-1 right now

I was at the game last season against the Bengals, truly was the beginning of the downfall. My Jags need a hard reset
Wrong offense was horrible all season everything has gone downhill since press Taylor started calling plays
It's ok jags fans, us dolphins fans are about to be in the same boat, we can implode together
I was there too. Trevor played great in that game, then he got injured
he was becoming a superstar and reaching a rize in his potential that injury set him back n fucked up his mental he wasnt the same after that game
Trent balke ruined this franchise. And he’s gonna get Doug fired. Stupid picks and thinks he knows it all. Basically handcuffed Doug and the jags
In SF we saw the Harbaugh era ruined by Balke's draft picks.
He drafted the one dude over hutch 😂😂😂 with the #1 pick 😢. Not sure why he overpaid for Trevor, he could have just tagged him.
Balke is by far the biggest problem. Press Taylor offense plays are dull and unimaginative and this situation is exacerbated by brainless play calling. A better offensive line and coach could fix the worst problem.
And don’t forget about their secondary. It stinks almost as much as the O line. But yeah, Baalke is a buffoon, The Khans aren’t particularly great at running the franchise, and Doug Pederson is NOT a good head coach.
@@chevy4x466 I didn’t connect the dots but someone said he didn’t want hutch cuz Jim coached him which makes perfect sense… he’s a spiteful peace of shit…
The quarterback play in that division is awful besides Stroud, but he is still young, but good. The Jaguars have been passed by the Texans due to having a better GM, roster, coach and quarterback in a very short period of time.
Too early to say stroud is good
@@pascho1057he is good, he looked like a vet as a rookie
@@pascho1057he’s good not elite yet
@@pascho1057 Name the 16 starting QBs you would rather have. Being top half of the league is "good"
I thought T. Law was done last year. But then the Jags give him a quarter B. I thought the org saw something I didn’t.
I wish my job was like the qb market. "Hey why am i not making as much as him?"
"Because you suck"
"Okay but we play the same position and actually you should give me more than him"
"You have two years left on your contract tho"
(Two months negotiation)
"Okay take the money and shut up now please"
I mean, if he was put on the trade block there would be a dozen teams clamoring to trade first round picks to get him. I don't blame the jags for wanting to keep him in Jacksonville
Teams just have to sign a QB. Some are lucky to hit on true champs (the usual 6 established names), other teams hit on a decent but not great QB, and can't pass him up. Have to sign him, hoping he gets better and develop into a true game changer.
Thing is: There are few true franchise quarterbacks available - maybe 5 to 8. On the lower level you have guys like Lawrence, Tua, Dak, Mayfield... Decision is to overpay them with franchise money or go with guys like Thomson, Clipboard Jesus and so on.
@macgobhann8712 please list the 12 teams who would trade a first round pick for Lawrence
Trent Baalke would never draft Aiden Hutchinson because he played for Harbaugh at Michigan.
You can't start over when you have to pay $275 million over the next 5 years to your QB
Doesn't start for a couple years I believe. I don't think they're completely stuck

Just find someone dumb enough to take the contract atlanta comes to mind they can use a OB3
Trevor and Tua are two clear cut examples of why you don’t give massive contracts to just average quarterback play.
Don’t forget about Watson 😂😂😂😂
At least Trevor can theoretically get better, Tua has already hit his ceiling with his very limited physical tools, Trevor has the tools of a Justin Herbert and still has the possibility to become that player, he’s also still just 24
Don't forget about Dak in Dallas. Jerry Jones probably never heard about the Watson scenario. Don't get me wrong: Dak is better than Lawrence but he doesn't deserve that amount of money. Truth is: The league has 32 teams and there are maybe 5-8 qb's are franchise guys. The teams overpay average guys cause there is no one else. Decision is: Pay Dak/Tua/Lawrence and hope for the best. Or put guys like Thomson, Heinecke etc. under center.
@@chevy4x466tbf Watson was a top 5 qb the last time he played and had been a pro bowler 3x in a row before that contract. While guaranteeing all the money was insane, he deserved money he got paid. Tua and Trevor never reached those levels yet got paid like they did.
@@temo7073what has DeShaun Watson done for them lately
The hype around this team never made sense to me. Last year’s hype was kind of warranted at the start of the year but even then it felt premature.
After entering the league Trevor has looked like a middle of the pack quarterback at best with high physical upside and questionable decision making. Combine those two things and we see the inconsistent QB play where sometimes it can be great but other times you’re left scratching your head.
Obviously the team as a whole has problems (still dont understand the walker pick), but having a top 5 paid qb that is missing receivers, skipping passes, and not making the correct reads is a huge issue when he has been touted as “the savior” And “generational”.
I don’t understand why everyone is making excuses for TL. He’s in year 3 with a Super Bowl winning coach and some decent weapons around him being paid $250 mil + and it should be expected that he elevate the team around him with no excuses.
Jacksonville has always been kind of a shit show and I think people want to give struggling young players a chance. It's not just Trevor that's fucked up in this organization.
The jags OC ain’t helping him out though, situational play calling is a joke.
He's in year 4
Its cause how often he flashes elite ability wildly inconsistent
Everyone giving excuses since most people crowned him a 'generational talent' and were getting his gold jacket ready on draft day; now they don't want their takes on him to be wrong. We'll probably be in the same spot with Caleb Williams in a few years
Doug Peterson’s three seasons with the Jaguars it’s like a JJ Abrams franchise. First one was great, Second one was mediocre, third one was terrible.
Trent Baalke is a joke of a GM. How he passed on Hutch is beyond me.
Why he paid Trevor Lawrence when there was still another year on his contract WITH a 5th year option available is also beyond me.
Yea that’s just dumb accept the 5th year option
@@dboii9741they did accept Trevor’s 5 year option. His contract kicks in and is only payed over 55 million twice. Not defending but look into the contract🤝
Contract money doesnt mean anything now a days, just means they have a good agent
It means the team has decided to ride-or-die because the cap commitment is huge
I was never a fan of Trevor. He just never inspired me.
Said it since his sophomore college season. Dude aint him
Hiring Doug always confused the hell out of me. He had Carson Wentz and absolutely ruined him in Philly. Great idea bringing him in to coach TL.
Currently in the midst of a rewatch of the good place, so seeing the Jaguars still having troubles even years after that show came out just makes the Jaguar jokes even funnier.
“Bortles!”
Lawrence is a serviceable QB with a decent arm capable of making the occasional great throw
A few backup QB’s can also say that too
He’s just a guy
I’ve been thinking that since he was in college, good not great qb
I think his big issue is that he doesn’t lift up the guys around him. He’s good when everything else is going well on the team. But if things aren’t good with the team, he doesn’t have the ability to overcome that or lift his teammates up with his play.
No. Come _on_ people! We saw this happen to Lamar to a certain extent, possibly Mac Jones, & definitely Justin Fields. If play-calling doesn't matter, why hire certain coaches or pay them more? If the play-caller sends the receivers on A, they *_HAVE_** to run **_those_** routes,* not other ones. In '22 Lawrence was capable of overcoming 4-score deficits against playoff-worthy teams. They came from behind *twice in one game* to beat the Ravens _in the regular season where Lamar is all-time king._ You can't do _that_ if you're JAG.
I needed to see exactly One Play in '23 to see they weren't running plays like in '22. One. Pederson is like McVay in that every play looks nearly identical when it starts, confusing defenses. They simply Were Not Doing This in '23.
As a result, all the timing of when receivers got where were different *and unpredictable!* Look at what % of any QB's throws are anticipation ones. He kept throwing these to Ridley, only because the play-caller made him & his what, 183 lbs the X receiver, he'd get shoved at the LOS & arrive late to the point of reception. & you all _saw_ this & blamed Ridley, Lawrence, anyone but the idiot play-caller who doesn't understand basic concepts as what X receiver means.
_Clearly_ Pederson is being forced to allow Press Taylor to call plays otherwise they'd both be forced & *clearly* the push for this _has to come_ from ownership, the people paying Pederson's salary. *His* hands are tied & so the team is screwed. If they don't change Just That, nothing else will work. The players' hands are tied as well.
Who can they point out these problems to?

Ummm Offensive line😂. And what wr lol kirk? He's also playing with a rookie who's actually the number 1
Lawrence is just Daniel Jones in italic. A bit fancier but nothing special. Look up their stats, they're frighteningly similar in terms of QB rating over their career, fumbles, completion % ect ect. Daniel Jones isn't as bad as he gets trolled for, but Lawrence isn't as good as his hopefuls think, and he's getting paid 15 mil more per season than Danny Dimes. That's an elite edge rushers salary.
Could Lawrence be 'that guy' by the time he's 28 or so? Sure. But pay him elite money then, not now.
Looks like the GM is most to blame. Giving TLaw that contract was crazy

I got hope for the colts if Anthony can clean up his passing/decision making .
As for Levis, he’s not bad either but man he’s been funny to watch play 😂
Personally, I don’t think having a Super Bowl winning head coach means much anymore. If history has taught us anything, it’s that in the last 4 years, coaches who were once praised for their offensive ingenuity are now being thrown out the airlock because of defenses that have gotten faster, quicker to diagnose, and smarter to playcalling than ever before. We’re going back in time to where having a good running game is required to even win games, let alone be successful in the playoffs. Defenses will have to start stocking up on powerful run defenders is the Line and in the LB core. Less money to go around on offense means RB’s will get their values inflated by around 2027.
Perhaps they can fire their GM first instead of the usual carousel of Head coaches and QBs most teams go through...or Khan can sell his team cause he also seems to be the issue.
Ver disappointed in the prince. I'm out on Trevor
Trevor Lawrence is a jag; he's just a guy.
trevor lawrence hasn't been very good this year and needs to be better. this is true, but it's ALSO true that he is not close to being the main issue with this team. the coaching is disastrous, the oline is disastrous, the run game (in turn) is terrible. it's like driving a nice car down a road with potholes everywhere. No QB besides probably Allen or Mahomes could make this work. and for those who are gonna say "well doug has a super bowl" he does, but what has he done besides that? the league has passed him by as an offensive mind, he got himself run out of town 2 years after winning a super bowl, and the players clearly do not trust him any more. the fact lawrence has suddenly and inexplicably regressed in a lot of aspects of his play, namely accuracy and pocket presence, should be setting off GIANT alarm bells in your head that something is not right on the coaching staff of this team.
How is bad coaching affecting his accuracy and pocket presence?
Also they don't know how to properly use Travis Etienne Jr. You don't constantly run one of the best all-purpose RBs in the league constantly in between the tackles. They need to design plays from him in space to maximize his yardage & Trevor needs to start hitting his receivers in stride. A lot of this falls back on the GM & TL & Pederson for not getting out the best of their guys. It's going to be a long season considering Houston just got beat but are a much better suited football team at the moment & are looking to take out their frustrations against Jacksonville who just got absolutely destroyed against Buffalo.
I agree bone head play calls with their running game
It's not just 2024. Over the course of their careers, Trevor Lawrence and Daniel Jones are statistically IDENTICAL. The simple fact of the matter is the TL just isn't that good, but because media narratives control the sport he's getting paid $250M and the problems in Jacksonville are everyone else's fault.
Yes Baalke sucks and yes Doug Peterson has been disappointing, but Peterson is still a super bowl winning coach with Nick Foles and Carson Wentz and the offensive skill players over the last few years have been above average. If they start over, it will only get worse and Lawrence has shown that he isn't one of those elite guys that can carry bad rosters.
I wish I could just look at stats and think I know anything lol. Film is all that matters
I'm always amused that when a team has great players, the coach gets called a GENIUS; but when the roster is weak, suddenly that same guy is a bum. I never liked Pederson but had to listen to everyone crow about how great he was when the Eagles won the Superbowl with him as head coach. Same with Andy Reid: He was great, then Philly hated him when things turned bad. Now he's a genius again. Ridiculous.
If I was in the front office, I would’ve sat on Trevor’s extension until after the season. There was no rush. And now they wrote themselves into a corner on this one. It’s gonna get bleak(er) - and they’re gonna be tough to watch.
I cut up my Trevor Lawrence Jersey today and turned it into cat toys for my cats. So even though im done with that bum Trevor, at least he is still providing entertainment to my cats! 😺😸

Most receivers don't matter outside guys like Randy Moss or great TEs like gronk and kekce. When's the last time you thought, oh, that QB would've been great if only he had great receivers? Doesn't exist.
Giving a young QB great weapons is very important because he's on a rookie contract so you can afford to surround him with talent which helps a lot with his confidence. Look at Mahomes and Allen. Hell Peyton Manning won 5 MVP's and threw to HOF players like Marvin Harrison, Edgerrin James, Dallas Clark, Reggie Wayne in Indy. In Denver he had Demaryus Thomas, Wes Welker, Eric Decker, Julius Thomas, and Knowshon Moreno

@@watcherofthewest8597 The only receiver I actually like is Brian Thomas Jr because he's an elite athlete with great speed but again he's really young at 21. Christian Kirk is an average slot receiver, Gabe Davis is just a big body deep threat that runs posts because he can't run routes, and even then he was too inconsistent, even Josh Allen couldn't trust him. Etienne just needs better run blocking. I think the Jags need a young Offensive mind that brings a burst of that energy into a locker room like the Texans have with Demeco Ryans
Jags legit had to pay him because nobody wanted to talk about how trevor lawrence is mid until AFTER he got paid lmao. Like now you want to say it, jags were basically held ransom cause he was SO GENERATIONAL GUARANTEED IT'S ALL THE JAGS FAULT!!
Jacksonville Jaguars fan here Trevor Lawrence does deserve some blame but it's only part of the issue.
Jacksonville Jaguars has problems in all three aspects(Offense Defense and Special Teams).
We have the 6th worst passing offense in NFL and third least explosive offense overall.Offensive line can't block well at all.6th worst in pass play explosiveness.Tied 5th in most sacks allowed. Surprisingly we are one the most explosive teams in running the ball but that might been inflated by the Buffalo game with garbage time stats. We are terrible converting 3rd downs.
Defense can't produce a turnover and we the only team with a doughnut in creating turnovers. We have the 3rd worst passing defense. We allowed the most yards after catch
Special Teams:We have the third worst kick return and punt return average. So that makes a long field for the offense to drive
Get Trent Baalke and Doug Pederson out of here.We lost 4 straight regular season game.We on a 5 game road game skid.We on a 7 game conference losing streak when facing other AFC opponents.I honestly wasn't very optimistic about 2024 season and predicted 3rd place in AFC South for best case scenario.
Chris Long had a huge segment about using "bust" QBs with better coordinators. I think Trevor could succeed in a Sam Darnold situation
Very good points. Before the season I thought that we were one of the most unpredictable teams in the league, after going 9-8 but with some upgrades (BTJ) we could get 10 wins as a ceiling, but could also be bottom of the division. The start of the season has been even worse than that, this team really needs a hard reset which is depressing after all the potential at the end of 2022.
Literally the only positive of this season has been BTJ looking like a star receiver, but his stats should be so much better if not for Trevor's constant missed throws.
I think Mac Jones will start a game (through injury or benching Trevor) before the season is over, and that will be the fatal blow for Trevor's Jaguars career despite the contract.
It really is sad to see what has happened to this organization, especially after how much hope there was at the end of the 2022 season. I am an Eagles fan, so I am forever thankful for everything that Doug Pederson did for the franchise. However, that is now two straight teams that have collapsed and underperformed expectations under Doug's watch.
How many times do they have to rebuild. I’m not even a jags fan but it’s aggravating seeing how whenever they get good and establish a really good young roster they always crumble. They gotta make it happen now.
He needs to cut his hair
and put on some muscle
look at the play at 3:33 - he missed the throw, but more importantly he missed the read. If you are looking directly at that side of the field why wouldn't you throw it to BTJ who is uncovered? He can't read a defense. I remember people talking about Bortles' physical talent as well - the QB is the position where physical tools matter the least - trevor is a bad qb.
Its baffling to say but Trevor Lawrence is somehow worse than Daniel Jones. A feat I never thought any QB could pull off.
The jags the browns of the South back in the dumpster fire we all know and love them for...... Good once a decade
In the months before Trevor Lawrence was drafted when everyone was calling him a "generational transcendent QB talent" I told my friends that I don't believe he'll ever win a Superbowl and probably never even make it to one. They couldn't believe I could think that but I am now more convinced than ever that I was spot on.
He's only in year 4 and he's 24. Peyton Manning didn't win a Super Bowl until he was 30. Your friends are gonna have the last laugh
@@julioponce799 and I'm sure Dan Marino was thinking the same thing when he was facing doubters in his 20s, sadly for him he did not get the last laugh and neither will Trevor Lawrence
Remember how the Eagles collapsed after winning the Super Bowl? I wonder who their coach was.
Bro, the Jags should be at least decent. TL is out of excuses. He’s an average qb who got vastly overpaid.
how they gonna start over when they just gave lawrence like 275 million dollars?
Daniel Jones best receiver before this year was Sterling Shephard and had the worst line in the league last year but no one makes excuse for him.
Think the Jags and Dolphins are having 52M/year nightmares?
The owner doesn't help either, he has too many investments overseas that this team is not his first priority, nor a passion for him to really elevate this franchise.
The Jags effectively missed on #1 overall picks two years in a row
Lmfao they have the worst GM in the league and look what's happened.
trevor was supposed too be a “generational talent” lmao he’s a okay qb at best and the tape shows that even the year they went too the playoffs trevor’s stats for that season weren’t that great.
They actually need to sell the team. Khans are incompetent.
Balke is the reason that Leftwich didnt take the job, and here we are!
I don’t think choosing to bill one QB out of each draft class as a generational talent helps. The way people were talking about him coming out of Clemson, you’d swear he would have gone to two AFC Champs and a SB by now
Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck, John Elway were all considered generational prospects. This isn't basketball where one player carries a team to championship contention. You need to build a great roster with good coaches and half decent ownership to win consistently, which the Jags have been failing at for decades
The way I could see the Jags successfully maneuvering this situation is 1st things 1st fire Trent Baalke and hire someone like Adam Peters. Personally I like Doug but Baalke has failed to make trades, sign free agents and hit on draft picks which led to Doug’s offense being anemic. I’d get some offensive talent, completely ignore the defense for now and try my best to get Trevor on the right path.
They can do better than Doug Pederson by hiring Ben Johnson or one of these young Offensive coaches that can work with TLaw and Brian Thomas, focus on fixing that damn O-Line
@@julioponce799 IMHO the coach prospects are pretty spotty for Trevor’s needs. None have any experience developing a project qb and none run a consistently great offense. Ben Johnson, Klint Kubiak and Kellen Moore are all underwhelming and will probably be bad coaches.

@@codyb1909 I think they made the right decision to let Ridley walk and draft Brian Thomas because you can get the same production if not better at a cheaper price for the next 5 years. That's one of the few times i give Baalke credit for. They desperately need O-line help to establish a run game
@@codyb1909 Trevor likes to drop back and hold the ball too long. He needs an oline that can pass block for 4 or 5 seconds. Doesn't matter who the receivers are when he has 1 or 2 seconds before he's being chased.

He needs an offensive coordinator that can scheme better plays. He’s a talented QB and they would be burned if they trade him and he finds success with another team
Why do people make excuses for this guy? He’s been objectively bad for a while now, with one bright spot here and there that’s just enough to keep public perception. He isn’t hitting throws and he still struggles with recognising defensive schemes
In the end the cancer press Taylor will be fired hopefully he never gets another job in the nfl. Never seen one man do as much damage and single handily destroy a team as much as press Taylor has done to the jaguars.

Trevor has the talent, we have seen glimpses, but with all those problems he will never reach it and will continue to look like an Overpaid Daniel Jones. Those with a keen eye know that both of them are not even close but unfortunately for Trevor his team is failing him and he is not in the right space mentally to produce quality football.
Funny how you mention Daniel jones as if he hasn’t had a worse situation than Tlaw for his whole career. The only difference is Jones didn’t have draft hype several years ago to fool you.
@@samuelault4723 Tlaw was levels above in college tho
Jaguars have a good team, but their not connecting for some reason. They shouldve won their first two games smh. Trevor and the offense need to figure it out asap
I'm not saying Trevor is great but I want people to truly watch everything go wrong w the offense before they put all the blame on Trevor. Is he flawless? No? Can he play better yes? Is it difficult for him to play better when his tackles are allowing a top 10 pressure rate, has stale playcalling called by a HC and OC who don't try to call a modern offense, AND deals with the most drops since 2021, it's not surprising the stats don't look good. The whole offense is broken!
First I must praise your proper use of statistics. Instead of vomiting them to look smart, you use them to support your analysis on specific in game situations. Makes your overall content very cohesive and interesting.
As for the Jags, it seems they seem to easily impressed with big athletic guys at the expense of them cohesion and football IQ. Don't get me wrong, if you can get your hands on some athletic freaks, go for it. But there's over 20 starter spots to fill on a team and any weak link will be quickly exploited by the opposing team.
Same problem with teams who seem to manage their roster based on marketing/politics. In a very cerebral game, they make most of their decisions relying on their emotions.
I'm glad you said the entire franchise is in shambles. Has Trevor been average at best most of the time, absolutely (coming from someone who has loved watching him since he was a HS prospect). He has no excuse this year for the bad overthrows and the missed opportunities he gets. I think we are beating the dead horse with ripping on the "generational talent", that ship has left the harbor a long time ago. This team does well when the defense is causing takeaways and that was evident early in the 2023 season when the jags were the 1 seed in the AFC. Honestly, press taylor runs the most innefective offense that doesn't play into Trevor's, BTJ's, Gabe's, or Kirk's strengths. Again Trevor has his problems but he's not confident in the line and it seems like he's more worried about getting hurt again like last year and also he doesn't feel confident his receivers will pull in the ball. I think Trevor has the talent to become a top 10 QB but i don't think he will reach an elite level any time soon with the elementary mistakes hes making
you mean, continue starting over.
we started over in 2000 and havent stopped since....
baalke needs to be charged with crimes against football for what he did to sf and ruining tlaw’s career (i get he’s been disappointing, but still, when he has that stretch in 2022, the fact he regressed from that is an organization issue). pederson needs to be FIRED too.
Anyone that watches the team week in week out knows the roster building has been the main issue. The O Line is horrendus Cam gave up 8 pressures in the Bills game. Thats unexceptable, the O Line is a joke. The play calling is uninspired. Putting blame on Trevor alone is just scapegoating. Trevs play is a problem but isnt even in the top 5 issues. GM HC OC and O line coach need to be gone yesterday.
I’m convinced that disrespecting the Terrible Towel cursed the Jags
We've only played 3 games. Every year we have to listen to these wild overreactions in week 3/4 for some team who is underperforming. Buffalo: We had a major defensive problem and minor issues on offense. How about the fact that the Buffalo Bills scored a TD on every single drive in the first half and it looked really easy. Offense has nothing to do with it. Travon Walker was a #1 pick but he is the last person mentioned. They lost on a last second field goal to Miami in week 1, shit the bed against Cleveland, and got blown out in Buffalo (it happens). Jaguars TE play has been extremely weak with Engram out as well, but every team loses players. They play in the AFC South and the Titans are just as bad, the Colts look terrible, and the Texans looked great, but then took a beatdown comparable to the Jaguars. I suspect the Jags could go 0-4, but it's what they start to do in week 5 that will dictate the outcome of the season. Fans need to remember what division we play in.
Trent Baalke is the one GM in the world that’d take Travon Walker over Aiden😂 he ruined this team and their OC Press Taylor. He’s literally the Matt Canada of the south, bland plays and the most unimaginable shit ever
Jaguars would have won 12 games last year and would be 2-1 right now if Press Taylor wasn’t the OC they scored 17 points the first half vs the dolphins what changed the second half why did they score zero points with team that scored 17 the first half? Play calling
Could you make the case that the Jags spiraled out of control after Travis Etienne fumbled on his way into the end zone in the Miami game?
@@co81385 that game was just a warning sign of bad things to come for both teams
@@co81385fumbles happen. To every team. Just like interceptions. Turn overs hurt but it shouldn't be some catastrophic event that causes a team to self destruct. Anyone who's watched a football game at any level has seen a team lose a fumble or interception and that team still win that game. If one fumble causes a team to implode they're mentally weak as a group
Maybe it has something to do with second half adjustments. If a team does the same plays in second half thinking they worked in first half they'll work in second half, but opposing team sees what they did in first half and makes adjustments to keep it from happening in second half.
Now here me out but I don’t think Walker is a bad pick cuz he’s currently being mentored by Allen and Allen himself is great but the D cornater is making bad choices like taking Allen out for a play or two in the red zone is stupid but I understand that he’s human so he needs to catch his breath but still come on man
man I like Trevor even as a bengals fan. Kinda hope he pulls a miracle and turns things around.
No way its not in Lawrence at this point. Coaches keep you from getting over the hump, qbs keep you from doing anything at all regular season
I don't think changing coaches and GM will matter that much in the long run. Jacksonville has been generally bad for so long that you have to look at what is consistent: ownership. However Khan likes to run things, it's not working. But as long as he's around, Jacksonville will have mostly bad seasons with the occasional weird blip (like 2017's AFC Championship appearance).
Lawrence seems like a guy who should beg to get traded to a team with a decent track record of developing talent. I don't think he's going to be "generational", but he would be better off elsewhere.
Lawrence SCREAMS Geno-esque, Baker-esque revival on a team with an actually good offensive minded HC.
If Trevor is that Bad getting paid that Much, Imagine how much CJ stroud is gonna ask for……
@Jay10-f2eThe dollar is backed by confidence in the US government; before then it was backed by confidence in the value of gold
@Jay10-f2elmfao maybe take a break from the internet for a day homie 😂
@@Ocean_Native dude has a point. Inflation in NFL salaries is correlated with inflation in how much money the TV partners offer the league, which ultimately to a very great degree stems from inflation in the United States dollar caused by excessive Fed money printing.
All this said I guarantee you if you put Trevor on a real franchise he would have a Justin fields resurgence
Theres no nice way to say it. Jacksonville is a bad club, just like Las Vegas, the NY Jets, and Chicago.
If he wanted to avoid the expectations ajd high standards he should have taken a pay cut lol. When you make big money we expect big results. Its natural.
I think it’s difficult to consider Trevor a bust but I do think he might be considered as one. He has a good amount of fumbling issues on his own. While he has some weapons, better QBs have done better with less. For QBs in 2020 the big 3 have injury concerns, where it begs the question why many talented QBs are more banged up than in the 2010s are.
