I've watched your videos for years but this is the first time you've taken what you do with paper to the tablet. I needed to see how this was done to try it myself.
Not only is your art wonderful, but you are also such a natural communicator. This video was a delight to watch and very calming also; almost a stream-of-consciousness feeling to being with you as you talk about your methods. Many thanks.
i love this video, made me want to start urban sketching myself. How do you go about the line art? I struggle a lot with the proportions and you make it seem so effortless so if it's no trouble for you i think many of us would appreciate a video on how to go about the actual line art and maybe colour theory a bit. thank you
You get some proper ignorant people in his world, if people done what you do instead of committing crimes what a great world we would live in, great informative video and great sketch
Hello from Spain! I love your videos. I've always wanted to get into urban sketching, but I felt lazy about carrying so many things around and spending so much money on materials and all that. Now I’m planning to take advantage of the current deals, and I’m torn between two options. I’d love to hear your opinion. I can’t decide between the iPad Air 2024 and the Samsung Tab S9. They’re currently priced similarly, though the iPad doesn’t include the pen, has less storage, and can’t be expanded. I’d like to know your recommendation and which one you would buy yourself. Thank you so much!
Depends on the app you want to use. If you don't have to use iPad exclusive apps, you can go with the Samsung where you get more for your money, e.g. storage, pen, SamsungDex, OLED, 120Hz. For drawing purposes, Samsung is on par with iPad. But if you do graphic design that requires vector, typography, layout, then go with iPad.
@teohontech7141 Thank you! I just want it for drawing as a hobby, both outdoors and at home, editing some photos and videos, playing occasionally, and watching series or movies. However, I wanted to know if there’s any difference when it comes to drawing, the feel of the screen, and how the app you use for drawing outdoors works. Since the Apple pen costs $150, while the Samsung one is included. Thank you so much!

Been trying to get into sketching because of your tablet reviews and drawing
Absolutely beautiful! Loose, crisp and super confident. Loved it❤
Thank you so much for sharing this video. It is inspiring to pick up the pen and get started.

Great video. What brush do you use here for the line art in the beginning? It is so ”inky”, love it.
Watercolor B4 brush from Waterful set. You can see more brush demo here ruclips.net/video/J3owygI70dc/видео.html

I get super self concious drawing by myself in my room, I need another two years of experience to even try drawing outdoors! 😂
Just go out with your local urban sketchers group. There is safety in numbers 😂
Could u please make Poco Pad review?
What software is this?
Concepts
Teoh what is the name of the drawing software u r using?
He's using Concepts
@@randomtf1533 thx teoh :)
no seriously-thx. i hope it is easier than Procreate
It's really simple. Actually it's so simple it can't do many things Procreate can do.
Which tablets are you using now ?
Tab S9 Ultra, iPad Pro 11. For outdoor mostly iPad Pro 11
Will you test one plus pad 2???
Not sure yet
Brush name plz 😊
Watercolor B4
A good option if ur not into apple or Samsung is Huawei. Specifically their paper matte edition with m pencil.
I would recommend Xiaomi over Huawei for the simple fact that at least their tablets are not loaded with ads and there is Google Play Store

I would be scared to get my pad stolen
Risk is definitely there depending on which country you're in
Bro stop buying backview tablet ,it's suck
They seem fine to me at their price point
