i actually started using concepts because of you! And i use it for my previous s6 lite tablet to my current ipad as well (after crying over the differnce of the app price between ios and android 😓) it's now my go to for simple doodles!
Hi Teoh, I know you got this out 4 months ago, but I've just recently started testing Concepts app, after seeing you a lot of times working with this app and how the linework always stay so sharp, non pixelated, made me think it could help me. I've installed Concepts but have been using only the free version for testing purposes. And from my initial wandering within the app, I've already found two issues. First... I don't have a clue where can I find an eraser, I've seen a tool that erases stuff but i think it is something to do with masks, or something alike. The second thing I've noticed, is that the app becomes a bit sluggish when zooming on painted areas. I've tested it on my iPad Pro 2018, which handles Infinite Painter nicely and IP is demanding, but Concepts was weird. I'm not sure if it was because I had the mask/eraser tool selected... any advices? Get a new tablet??
The eraser is not a pixel eraser but more of a stroke eraser, but it only erases selected part of the stroke. See this tutorial on using the eraser ruclips.net/video/Hds2QE_MGpE/видео.html Regarding lag, Concepts will zoom in and out and leave the surrounding white before filling with the artwork. That's the only lag I notice. Lines that you draw should not stutter to appear on screen.
Hi! Is it a vector or raster editor? Am I right to understand that this program is good for sketches and rough drawings only? Is it impossible to make a precise drawing like in Procreate or Illustrator/AffinityDesigner, right?
It's not an editor since it does not have many tools for adjustments for things already drawn. Procreate is not an editor too. These two are for drawing. Illustrator and Affinity Designer are vector graphic design apps which aren't really for creating the so-called traditional handdrawn art but they can be used for that. Concepts is a vector app but is designed for drawing unlike Illustrator and Designer. See my review here www.parkablogs.com/picture/concepts-app-review-sketching-vector-and-infinite-canvas
@@teohontech7141 Thanks for the quick response! It appears to be vector based raster brushes. I tried out the app and bought it with the full suite in the hope that the paid tools would expand its vector toolkit capabilities and I could get vector brushes in addition to raster brushes. I don't know why, but for some reason it seemed to me that the paid packages had tools for editing nodes, creating vector paths, vector brushes, etc., like a vector editor like Illustrator or Affinity... :))) Therefore, I was a bit frustrated with the purchase as I am a vector artist, but exporting to vector formats like SVG only produces anchor lines and paths, but not objects from the brushes. Simple brushes that respond to pressure are very similar to vector brushes, though, and I had hopes that I could draw ink vector drawings. But unfortunately, it's all just bitmap elements layered on vector paths and lines. I know, there's my own mistake, no any claims for this app. But... I will not be making a refund and will use the more familiar ProCreate for now, but look forward to updates to this app. Maybe the developers will make the editing tools more powerful or add some vector editing tools and add a vector component for brushes. The app has good potential.

Great work. I've been using Concepts for the past year and a half for linework on the Samsung tab 8+. It's a great little program.
I really love your artstyle, keep it up, Teoh!
I’m mean…. I’d watch you draw this in real time lol.
Good videos btw
