Not at all, the Slitheen are extremely limited in their choice of disguises so that they can actually fit into them. The whole process is also uncomfortable to them and they'd rather be out of costume, the constant farting also doesn't help keeping a low profile and the whole thing is just a means to an end. They however, can completely change their appearance to the person they just killed, it doesn't matter what they look like, tall, short, slim, thin, they become a perfect copy. They also do it out of enjoyment and not because they have to like the Slitheen.
Seriously, y'all prefer the farting aliens to these guys because there was a gay romance in this episode? People are way too far gone with this anit-woke craze if you ask me. Queer as Folk, Queer Eye, Drag Race, Will & Grace, came out in the 2000's and people didn't scream at it as "woke" like they would now. They just didn't watch if if they weren't into it. Queer stuff in TV has been around for literal decades, people on social media just want to get participation trophies from their fellow anti-SJW's for being mad at shows with gay people in it.
@@TheTurdle there not limited anymore. In the adventures of sarah jane smith, a surviving sect of the Slitheen famiky were able to update the suits so that way they could disguise themselves as any person with an average weight
That was a rather disappointing filler episode. I mean, a bunch of shapeshifters attend a Victorian-era ball so they can kill people and _cosplay_ as them. This little scene notwithstanding, they had no real further objective. Not the best villains Doctor Who ever featured. And the sideplot with the Doctor's out-of-nowhere gay romance was kinda pointless too. If there's only gonna be 8 episodes in a season, they should make them better than this.
I agree slightly that they should focus more on the story but it was nice change of pace. I think that the doctor being gay is normal considering they have liked alot of people as a woman and man so it’s normal. The shock for me personally is I ain’t ever seen the Doctor that flirty so quick so maybe that’s why cause it’s kinda out of character. I think the chemistry though with them was awesome.
Tbh slitheen are better at ‘cosplaying’ compared to them

@@JamesNixon-b7pnah, these bird things just sucked as villains. The Doctor and Rogue were the highlight of the episode for me
