Run Android Apps on Linux kernel just like a Linux Desktop app. No VM required

- Since the release of Windows 11, Microsoft is hyping its WSA feature for Windows 11. Till today that feature is not available globally. The said is available for public preview for US users only. A similar feature can be installed on most Linux distributions. This feature enables the use of android apps on the Linux kernel just like the regular desktop applications of Linux. An android app can be launched from the gnome app drawer. The said feature is bundled inside a Linux package named Waydrioid. In this video, I have explained the installation process of Waydroid on Ubuntu 20.04.
The Waydroid project is not enough stable at this moment. It has some specific requirements. Watch the video carefully till the end for more details.

cant locate package when executing command for installing waydroid is done i am on ubuntu 22.04

unable to locate package waydroid,,, i am new to linux ( on linux mint)
as of now, it works with ubuntu only. I have also tried to install the same on mint, but no luck
Linux mint does not support wayland.. There is a workaround for that too

@@ClicksAndBits There is a compositor named weston.. All you have to do is "Sudo apt install weston". That will get weston installed on mint.. And then type "Weston" on weston terminal and it will launch the session.. There you'll notice a terminal.. There you must type "sudo systemctl start waydroid-container" and "waydroid show-full-ui"
It gives me the same error on Ubuntu 22,04. Is it normal? What should I do?

I think Yes. I have doubts because way droid is readily not available for ARM architecture. This: github.com/dreemurrs-embedded/Pine64-Arch/wiki/Android-compatibility-layer may help you

My problem is every solution so far is running android in a vm even this no vm video has it in a vm android is literally a distro of linux why cant android apps be run natively as linux apps...
@@Lunas2525 i don't know much about Android but i know that Android doesn't run java bytecode,it uses dalvik VM to compile it into dex files which are executed
