I’m 19 and my life’s fell apart, lost my place at college and lost my job, I just found out I need to be referred again and will probably be told I need to wait over 2 years. I’m really lost right now, I want to have a better, I have aspirations, things I want to experience, goals I want to reach. I just really want to be better.

I’m so sorry, this is such a difficult, but common issue right now. Try and look for support groups and try the changes I suggest in this video whilst you are waiting. Take care.

I also feel if private can give you what you want because they are being paid, could the reverse be true of the NHS because they are not being paid the same as private that you get dissmissed? 🧐🤔

The NHS team will have their normal salary irrelevant if they diagnose you or not, so it shouldn’t make any difference. They are more likely to be honest I think!

Yes, it is a really difficult situation for so many people. I hope some of the tips in this video may be helpful to you and do reach out to the many support groups.

My GP isn't referring anymore regarding ADHD what is best to do.

I don’t think your GP can refuse to refer, but it may be the local services are not taking referrals at the moment if their waiting lists are unmanageable. It is very tricky! Your GP should be able to better explain the situation for you. In the meantime, hopefully the advice here is useful and there are lots of online support groups.

Hyperfocus? Poppycock. No such thing as hyperfocus and hyperfocusing is something that I definitely did not do for the past 4 hours researching the history of canned hams.
