Leaves are starting to fall , Fall is coming , this winter I’m putting the snow blower on the deck , shovel beat me up last winter , and if there’s snow on the deck , my dogs think it’s the ground and Pee on it , and that Pisses me off ! Still need the shovel for clean up , but instead of hours of snow removal , I think I can get it down to under 20 minutes , Plan Ahead !
Thank you Modern Refugee! That’s the perfect bag for the circumstances. Great minds think alike because I posted a video the same day you did about this topic. Was getting so frustrated with the ridiculous information out there, like A box a mac n cheese?!! Or an ax that is a multi tool that weighs 12 lbs! You’re the best! Thank you for making it simple and uncomplicated
4 1/2 tanks of gas through the Weed Eater yesterday , that was just the front yard , my fingers hurt today ! And it’s raining today , outside work gets paused ,
@@Diebulfrog79 just think Uncle Al, when you were a boy all you needed in your pocket to get home on was a pocket knife & change for a pay-phone if you got tired of walking & your cuteness & thumb couldn't hitch you a ride home. My how times have changed!
Full marks for making a short but great video on this perineal topic. Ace or tensor bandage for getting home if you twist and ankle or wrist. Where’s the bear spray?
@@ModernRefugee yes it does for sure. I take notes and think oh man how did I forget that or why do I have that. So then I created two separate packs as one for day use and another for hardcore problems. I even bring the day use one in the car anywhere we go. I like to repack in the fall to remind myself what’s in there.

If you can do a overnight in a safe controlled environment. This is one of the best things to let you know what gear you need and what you don’t. That way you can have the right gear that you are familiar with if you have to spend a unexpected night outside. We do several overnights a year in different seasons.
Several years ago, I purchased and added mosquito head nets to our bags. Actually put them in my range bags also.
Great idea!
Good morning. Modern Refugee. My current headache is my group, old and moldy go bags and bug out bags
Our bags age as we do
I keep a few PEICES of charcoal in a peice of cheesecloth.

The leaves are starting to turn here. Especially the sugar maples.
Mine are Maples also , Oaks are tough , they come down last ,

Good video, thanks for sharing, God bless brother !
Thats a real nice bag and load. I need to make one.
Nice bag. Right now, if I packed one it would need wheels. 🤔
The formula is 5# for pockets, 15# for go bag, 30# for Bugout bag. Total weight 50 pounds Practice and experince. Hootowlholler

lol on my autocorrect typo but I will leave it
No bears here unfortunately. There up north teaching school before hibernating.
@@ModernRefugee it’s good to carry in case they move south or someone upsets you
Great simple kit.
Very useful gear MR!
I have exactly everything you have, other than I added a bug head net and extra reader glasses.
I’m Still Thinkin’ Thinkin’ Thinkin’ , into the Future ! Double
I’m a big fan of anti-chafing products in my kits. If it going to be a man portable system having the ability to not chafe is important to me.
Oh yeah have had to rethink packs a few times and I wear mine daily to walk park
Yup, it makes a difference when you walk with them all the time.

Get a tripod dude! Though your one handed skills are great
I had one. I broke it.

EXCELLENT INFORMATION
A good load out there, I'd be happy with that.
👍
It’s works and it’s not to heavy. I’m still watching the weight from my surgery. Still trying to get back where I was.
Awesome video my friend
Use the same blue dry bag as my “junk drawer”. 👍
Looks good, Modern Refugee!
Thank you!
I'm not packing a week of food to get home... I've got friends along the way...biggest concern is being armed.
Don't forget your meds...
Have a Fine Day !
You as well!
Everyday gets better than the one before , if your happy and you know it ? You probably live in the country

Always enjoy seeing what kind of goodies you have tucked away in your packs and kits
Was that sheath knife an Esee 4? Couldn't tell for sure.
Yes, a well used ESEE 4 with a 90 degree spine and a large needle taped to the front of the sheath.
@@ModernRefugee Very nice!
Straight te the point.
It actually looks like you have been outside before. People carry a bunch of stuff they will never use. I see it backpacking all the time.
Hillpeoplegear is the way to go!
Dogs are playing in the living room , Loud ! Wish they had a Mute button , like silent movies
AGREED!! people are packing fears not common sense with know how 😂✊️🔥✌️💚
Thank you!
I will add as well, people try to add to many comforts. Those comforts become burdens when you have to live out of a pack. Take care.
@ModernRefugee yes agreed my problem is I want to carry to many tools 🤣👌
I think that's my problem. Maybe I just overthink, but I always include too much.
