The 28XX is quite an awesome little handheld and a big deal. Not only can it run N64 properly, it also supports a 1TB micro sd card in both sd card slots at the same time!
Awesome! 1. Is the dpad automatically mapped to replace the joystick? 2. What do you do if the game requires a dpad and a joystick? Is there hotkey to switch between joystick and dpad? 3. How do they work around the 4 c buttons? Usually these are mapped to a right analog stick due to lack of buttons.
Yes the dpad is already mapped to replace the joystick and you can use the r2 button for c. I have only checked if the game works on this, only the initial impression of the game after it starts playing. So haven't gotten in-depth to see which games require both dpad and joystick.
What do you think about Anbernic RG353V? What games are there in the 64 GB version? I did a lot of research but I couldn't find an answer. Can you help me?
Rg353v is a decent vertical handheld. What games does a 64gb card has? A lot of games, just buy one to find out. It doesn't even matter what is comes with, you can add your own games.
How is it for games that require both dpad and joystick? Is there a quick toggle between the two via hotkey? Eg. WWF No Mercy requires you to wiggle joystick to activate Special moves but other than that it relies on dpad mostly
Pease help, I have searched for hours with no solution to what seems to be a simple problem, I have a San Disk SDXC 64GB card, formatted to FAT32, I have an Anbernic RG28XX, I copied the files from stock SD card exactly to the new SD card, however no matter what the anbernic will only turn on with the stock sd card, even though the replacement is correct size, correct format and has exact same data, can anyone help?
Love videos like this.. no talking, pure gameplay! Can you do dreamcast on this device as well please?
Definitely 😎👍🏻
@@BigRetroStudioAwesome! Looking forward to it

@@BigRetroStudiohow does the r2 button work for the c buttons?
@@joeshlong9614for example in ocarina of time you hold the r2 and press X (on screen it is the yellow arrow) and btw thats how you talk to navi
hopefully Miyoo will be able to do this soon
Can u do the same but with Miyo A30 ❓Or what about the same RG28XX but with PSX or Dreamcast.

Does it run better than rg35xx h and what core are you using? Rg35xx h has lots of graphical glitches using parallel core
Both are having the exact same chip, I prefer rg35xx h because it has analog sticks.

I haven't tested it in-depth to find out which games require both dpad and the analog stick.
hitting the power button switches from joystick to d-pad
@@linksavetheday thanks. Does this also work in other emulators outside of Retroarch like Ppspp?
@@soupnazi81 yes
@@linksavetheday awesome thanks!
Is this using stock firmware?
Updated stock firmware.
@@BigRetroStudiodo you have to flash the updated firmware on the sd card or can I update it on the console itself?
Hello, in your opinion wich one of these handhelds can play MAME good and is there a way to play MAME online?
All of these handhelds can play mame well, it only depends on which form factor you prefer.
can you actually play ocarina of time with the button limitation?
It seems playable from my initial impression of testing the game.
What settings have you used?
I have only used the stock os default settings.

There is a process of flashing the sd card to make the stock os work rather than just copying to a new sd card. That is the reason.
How do you get N64 games on this thing?
You can put it yourself.
Games that needs c stick? How?
All these games were playable from my initial gameplay testing, haven't gotten indepth to see where you need c stick
