Ok so assuming Fortuna isn't completely lying, witch of envy can't be Emilia's mother. Emilia is the child of Fortuna's brother, who are both elves. Half-elf emilia would therefore have to have a human mother. Satella was a half-elf as well, so Furtuna would have to lie about the brother as well.
Also, Emilia gets her silver hair from her father - from Fortuna's brother - which implies her mother doesn't have silver hair. The Witch of Envy has silver hair, Emilia has silver hair, but apparently Emilia's mother doesn't.
While I personally find it unlikely, it is also possible that both her parents are half-elves…this is under the suppositions that 1) Fortuna refers to her half-brother as simply her “brother” and 2) blood mixing in Re:Zero works proportionally like that, because we know for a fact that Emilia is affected by the Sanctuary’s barrier confirming her 50-50 mix. There’s a reason I think this possibility is unlikely, but that would be a spoiler that I don’t want to say here.
Her brother could be half elf. I don't think it is the case because the hair comes from him, not from the mother. But being brother of Fortuna is not the reason to think Satella cant be her mother.
The reason why Regulus is a million and Betelgeuse was 10 is because of their authorities and their compability with it, just like when Subaru used invisible hand in the last episode, the kick from using it was him puking, Subaru isnt slothful, he is dilligent, the opposite of the authority, so hes not good with it, did Betelgeuse in first season look slothful at all? It never really gets mentioned in the anime, but Puck HAD to break the contract with Emilia if there was any hope for her to pass the first trial. The reason why is there is so much tragedy and trauma in her past that one of the terms of her contract with Puck was her memories would be sealed. But because the first trial is facing what has happened in your past, and because of the terms of the contract, she had no hope of passing it. But because Puck broke the contract and her memories began coming back to her - AND because of the support Subaru has shown her - she's able to confront her past this time around.
The Otto & Petelgeuse scene was what happened to Otto in this loop. The end of the scene (Otto tied up) is when Otto first met Subaru, but for us we already knew Otto was around and didn't pay much attention to him.
Remember a few episodes ago, when Emilia felt insulted when Subaru called her a fairy, because fairies seem evil in this world? But child Emilia saw fairies as good beings. In the novels Emilia recalled she learned about fairies from a book of hers and Fortuna mentioned that the Witch's Cult brings the elves books in the forest. There is a theory, that someone in the Witch's Cult has connections to another isekaied person who wrote that book and if that turns out to be true, that is some genius foreshadowing.

The author has said that the Greedy Bishop has the power to defeat and even kill some of the weaker of the Seven Deadly Sins Witches. Subaru is relatively weak in this regard. His Sloth has only one unseen hand, and it is accompanied by strong nausea and vomiting when used.

Remember the fight where Emilia fought Petelgeuse, right before Subaru got possessed in Season 1? After Emilia beat him, she started tearing up because she knew Petelgeuse, but she didn't remember him. Also Geuse is a spirit that possesses other people, so he is hundreds of years old. He can only possess other people that have an affinity for spirits, like Subaru, that hasn't made a contract yet. That's why he wouldn't be able to possess people like Emilia or Julius, because they were already contracted with one.
*MANDATORY INFORMATION FOR REZERO HERE:* otto stopping his cart and getting kidnapped happened before subaru killed the white whale. As subaru and his party was fighting against the whale, during that time interval, the big beast wolf dude was also a part of subarus party against the whale. The wolf dude saved otto from betelgeuse in the cave by freeing him, telling him that subaru was the one who saved otto not him because he works under subaru temporarily. So yes otto feels like he owes his life to subaru, also yes otto didn't steal anyone's girlfriend without their permission, its more like he got into a relationship with the rich girl from his village and didn't know she was dating another dude and the other dude found out about it and automatically suspected otto because he's the zodda bug weirdo, and cause the wife's a lying scumbag. He used his animal powers to figure out the truth and revealed to the guy that she cheats on basically every guy she has been with without them knowing. And he gets driven out because she gets mad and hires goons after him, otto used his merchant connections to get that merchant job from his older brother to escape and leave from the bitchs grasps. Oh also about the joke scene between subaru otto and Garfiel at the end there, its about last episode when Garfiel walked in and saw the writings on the wall for Emilia before Garfiel fought with subaru and even before subaru returned to comfort Emilia. The writings on the wall were basically him confessing his love for her, thats why he had to break the promise to stay with her. He was too anxious to be with her in person because of the mansion thing so he thought it'd be best to write it all in text on the wall even confessing his love for her there. Cheeky gar saw that, and also saw subaru and Emilia kissing but awkwardly had to walk back outside because he didn't wanna interrupt (kinda cute ngl such 8th grader energy). It happened before the fight with subaru ofc (Oh btw you are like the jacksepticeye of the react community)
Fun fact that was cut from the anime is at this point there are two different factions in the Witch Cult, the moderate faction led by Geuse, and the extremest faction led by Regulus. The faction led by Regulus is the evil twisted organization that we know in the anime today, while the moderate faction was exactly as you saw in this episode. They couldn't be more different. Soon you'll see exactly what happened which turned everything to what it has become in the present story.
In season one, Emelia met Petelguese once (in the body of a Finger) and froze him solid. During that entire encounter, he cried seemingly nonstop, and not the bloody tears he had previously wept- regular tears. It kind of takes on a whole new meaning after seeing he was a foster father to her for a time. It’s really sad.
To answer ur question abut regulus’ strength at the end, imagine this. This guy has an ability very similar to Gojo’s infinity. Regulus is able to defy the laws of reality with his abilities, and can even manipulate time to an extent. I feel like anything more would dive into too many spoilers.

there was almost zero cut content this episode, also if you rewatch frozen bonds, you'll hear echidna's voice talking to puck..... beatrice also calls puck as big brother but for some reason the subtitles always traslate it at "bubby" which... idk it makes no sense. but yea echinda might have a much bigger connection to emilia, we dont know for sure, also the strength of the witches and the archbishops are directly proportional to how Compatible they are with their witch factors, betelgeuse was very dilligent and he wasnt compatible with the Sloth witch factor
"rewatch frozen bonds" That's the problem crunchyroll (or wherever he is watching it) didn't update the OVA at all, so it's just silence when the contract comes up.
I'm not sure how that compatibility is reflected in Subaru though. He can't use Sloth as well, and it causes him plenty of pain to do so. Petelgeuse had to bite his fingers to activate it, so does it just need pain to work, or do they both just suck with it? When Subaru gets his Greed Witch Factor that he names "Little King", he more or less inverts its power. I wonder if that's because he's compatible with it, so he can direct its purpose, or is that just how the factor is expressed when used by him? Or maybe he's not compatible, because he feels a little of everything that happens to everyone connected to him?

I don't remember if the anime touches on this so I'll space it as if it is spoiler. Emilia stays frozen for about 100 years (don't have access to the exact number right now) so yeah, this flashback happens 100+ years before Subaru arrived in this world.
As far as I am aware there are no Ghosts and I've read all web novels aside from the latest one, spirits are naturally occurring beings in the world with a few exceptions(you will soon find out), as for Puck and his relationship with Emilia, that'd be spoiler territory even though there is not much to say at this point.
Regarding the scene with Otto and Betelgeuse in the flashback (and the scene with Ricardo and Otto), i think these were just supposed to illustrate what happened to Otto between his trading and the point when he got unbound in front of Subaru in the village (which was the pair's first time meeting in the present timeline). He was immediately drawn to Subaru this time round because he evidently owed him his life which was threatened by the cult capturing him. There could be more but i havent read the LN so 🤐
In this Timeline Otto get captured by the cultists and Subaru send out people to clear out the hideouts, there they found otto and rescued him. The little ferals bound oto to a stick for interogation and subaru there again freed otto and told the other people, that he is a trustworthy guy. That is the reason, why otto feels obligated to subaru and build freindly ties with him in this timeline. Also in this timeline otto drove the wagon like crazy to catch up to emilias wagon with the firestones about to explode. Hope that helps to sort out what happened in what timeline.
briefly listing some main problems subaru had to face in this arc / season till now, since the season only have a few episodes left - garfiel and frederica sibling (subaru now allying with) - barrier and the trials (has now rely on emilia) - emilia's mentally breakdown which led to the timeline with the witch of envy (subaru gave her mental support) - mansion attack - great bunny - those two happen at the same time according to the gospel, roswall is the one to follow the gospel and make them happen - betty's promise made by echidna to never leave the library until "that person" (shes been waiting for over 400 years)
The flashback you mentioned at the beginning of the video was just to show why Otto feels indebted to Subaru. He was caught by the witch's cult and freed by the mercenaries that were helping Subaru.
That seal being the seal for the Witch of Envy is a pretty good guess, but sadly you are missing information from the novels. At this point in the novels it was stated, that the seal for the Witch is in some desert.
first off, emilia is like 7 years old, and the witch of envy has been sealed for 300 years, this backstory happened 100 years before subaru arrived in re zero aka the current present day, also even if emilia was the daughter of satella that would make her a 3/4th elf, not a half elf. if she was a 3/4th elf then she wouldnt have been affected by the barrier of the santuary and passed out back in episode 2 of season 2 , re zero has a heck lot more plot than you think luke, plus that seal..... no one knows whats in it, but we do know what isnt behind it and i bet you wish you knew too eh?

Petelgeuse is a spirit, that's why he lives long, also over the years he used several bodies as vessels (never against their will, until he went insane). Spirits are also very emotional, that's the reason why he cries a lot.
For the question of what Petelgeuse is, you have to be very attentive with the dialog next episode in order to catch what Petelguise is. It is quickly mentioned. In case it's not catched next episode, i will elaborate on it.

Meanwhile, Regulus owned the radical faction, which seems to always have been more hostile. there is a reason why you dont see moderate witch's cult members anymore, its directly tied to the fact that betelgeuse lost his mind at some point and the moderate faction wasnt so moderate anymore. * You are right in saying that Puck knows emilia, but if you also remember in season 1, puck at few occasions called emilia his "daughter", and puck is male. i was going to theorize that puck might be emilia's parent turned into a spirit, though im not gonna lie, i went to do some digging about puck to make sure i was right, and it seems i opened a whole can of worms. uhm, all i can say is yeah its still a big mystery but youll probably find out more about puck's relationship with emilia in the coming episodes. Personally I think Emilia's parents sacrificed themselves to seal the Witch of Envy and Emilia's mother was just a different kind of witch which is why Emilia is being called a witch and seen as a potential host of the Witch of Envy back in season 1. Although that doesn't explain why she looked like Emilia when joining the tea party since she shouldn't be possessing Emilia at that time, maybe she's just able to change which form she has for Subaru's sake.
problem is the timeline doesnt work the witches supposedly all died 400 years ago ... emilia is only a small child in the flashback (107 years from present day) so realistically her parents should have nothing to do with the witches. When Subaru first meets Minerva, in the light novel, he shouts "boobs". This shows that Subaru is very attracted to Minerva. If Subaru is Flugel, then Flugel is also attracted to Minerva. Satella must have known about this and became Envy, killing all of the witches, because she was jealous that Flugel was attracted to Minerva. (Flugel died because noob, and Subaru borned by Satella who accidentally reincarnated herself as Emilia. The reason Subaru loves Emilia and has shadow gardens is also because Satella (evny) did this to him. If he's a spirit, that would explain why he has possession power, long age and not aging. Well, we don't know much information about spirit, in this re: zero anime. So, it's debatable.
@@alfimelfissa While the reasons for his long age and such are indeed debatable, that isn't the same as saying all theories are therefore just as valid. A BIG point was made not many episodes ago about how Spirits do not have internal organs or blood, but are instead comprised of mana/spiritual energy. We are directly shown this. Ergo, it is *impossible* for him to be a spirit. Many humanoid races can have long lifespans and possession techniques are hardly special to spirits either. No evidence specifically points to him being a spirit with plenty saying he cannot be.
lol last episode was kind of happy and this one is kind of happy as well. Next episode though lol... I'm excited to see you react to more Emilia backstory! Emilia calling her aunt, mother, reminds me of myself and my siblings as we also call one of our aunts "mom (insert name here)". We just hear others call her that (in this case, our older cousin but he doesn't, of course, add her name after "mom") and we end up thinking that's what she's called and it stuck lol. The way It's been explained to me is that every archbishop had the potential to be as powerful as Regulus but all the other archbishop either had or developed an obsession that prevented them from getting that powerful, not to say that Regulus himself doesn't have an obsession, he definitely does, It's just that his obsession just so happens to perfectly compliment his archbishop power.
yeah they need to have a obsession that matches with the sin the authority represents - take geuse for example - he's very active and diligent the opposite of Sloth - while regulus is selfcentered, greedy and thinks that everything is about him and him alone - he's perfect for greed

That's an explanation to what happened during previous Arc (with Fingers and Subaru being possessed by him). Also, Beatrice mentioned Geuse before, that's because she knew him, when he was sane.
I wonder if Beako ever knew that Geuse went insane, and if not then it must've hurt really bad to hear that Subaru killed him. Again, if that's the case, I wonder how could she forgive him for killing a friend of her.

But I suspect that it was actually 400 years, since Beatrice was spending all her time locked in the library.

In japanese there are multiple ways to referr to people depending on formslity and ststus... You may have already noticed the -chan, -kun, -san, -sama... At the end of names... Thise are called honorifics and denote your own character or relstionship to someone... The honorific can also be added to titles... In this case little emilia says Fortuna Kaa-sama... Meaning she is being formal to her but she is still her "mother" not in a church kind of way... That would still be "Mother/Maassa" using the actual english word but pronounced more japanese like... So emilia is quite respectful towards her "Mother" in particular... Or she is just a child raised to be really formal by strict parents....

Emilia's age is a bit of a mix. Physically, she's about Subaru's age. Mentally, she's younger but being forced to mature quickly. And technically, she's far far, FAR older, due to the fact that the ice drastically slowed her aging but didn't stop it.

I do not believe, that beeing a witch has to do with heritage. I believe it has more a connection with a certain magical Power or with the Idea of a sin corresponding to that person. Like the witch of gluttony creating the Maebeast, the witch of envy devouring the other witches, something in this direction.

Nobody knows why some sins are stronger than others, but it’s usually fairly inconsistent what makes the authority stronger in certain people. Like, for example, the witch of sloth is much stronger than Betelgeuse. But regulus is much much stronger than the witch of greed. The power of the witch factor is dependent on who has it. Basically. So, for example, right now Subaru’s sloth witch factor looks to be weaker than both geuse’s and the witches. Not to say that it isn’t fairly strong. Just not on their level. But yes, you’ll see how strong he is soon. I won’t spoil anything.
The witch factor strength probably has to do with how much it fits in with your personality. Betelgeuse is weak simply because he himself is just not very slothful individual and yet he has the sloth witch factor.

Ok so it's just a personal theory here, but about the sins' archbishop powers level, i would say they fit their witch personnality. As it is my theory let me explain myself, and let me talk about the 4 archbishop we know. Betelgeuse, glutony one, Regulus (greed one) and the missing pride. Geuse is the sloth one, we could guess the with was to annoyed to give or build great power for her archbishop, that would explain his weakness. About the glutony one, being really stong could be part of him having the exact same sin like his witch, making him dangerous by nature. Greed one, being the Echidna's one, is maybe giving alot of knowlage and power in order to be able to be totally free to get any informations he wants, like Echidna would love too. And finally the pride one, well, the witch pride is maybe to high for her to rely on anyone, so she wouldn't give a inch of her power to any human or species, because no one is worth her. Once again, it is just my reading of the thing i may be wrong, but i also may be right so carefull. Anyway i love your reaction to this anime which is my fav one ! Sorry but as far as we know Witches dont have any influence or interraction with their corresponding sin archbishop at all as they have been dead 400years The power is a bit random as it can change between users and regulus seems to have got a particularly broken ability ...but it also seems to be the more you embody a sin the more powerful your authority e.g. Regulus is VERY greedy so hes a good match but Geuse was NOT VERY slothful so hes a bad match Does that make sense?

Ok so assuming Fortuna isn't completely lying, witch of envy can't be Emilia's mother. Emilia is the child of Fortuna's brother, who are both elves. Half-elf emilia would therefore have to have a human mother. Satella was a half-elf as well, so Furtuna would have to lie about the brother as well.
Also, Emilia gets her silver hair from her father - from Fortuna's brother - which implies her mother doesn't have silver hair.
The Witch of Envy has silver hair, Emilia has silver hair, but apparently Emilia's mother doesn't.

It never really gets mentioned in the anime, but Puck HAD to break the contract with Emilia if there was any hope for her to pass the first trial. The reason why is there is so much tragedy and trauma in her past that one of the terms of her contract with Puck was her memories would be sealed. But because the first trial is facing what has happened in your past, and because of the terms of the contract, she had no hope of passing it. But because Puck broke the contract and her memories began coming back to her - AND because of the support Subaru has shown her - she's able to confront her past this time around.

The end of the scene (Otto tied up) is when Otto first met Subaru, but for us we already knew Otto was around and didn't pay much attention to him.
Remember a few episodes ago, when Emilia felt insulted when Subaru called her a fairy, because fairies seem evil in this world? But child Emilia saw fairies as good beings. In the novels Emilia recalled she learned about fairies from a book of hers and Fortuna mentioned that the Witch's Cult brings the elves books in the forest. There is a theory, that someone in the Witch's Cult has connections to another isekaied person who wrote that book and if that turns out to be true, that is some genius foreshadowing.

The Seven Deadly Sins Bishop's abilities come from the Witch Factor of the Seven Deadly Sins Witch. Their strength depends on their compatibility with the Witch Factor. The author has said that the Greedy Bishop has the power to defeat and even kill some of the weaker of the Seven Deadly Sins Witches.
Subaru is relatively weak in this regard. His Sloth has only one unseen hand, and it is accompanied by strong nausea and vomiting when used.

After Emilia beat him, she started tearing up because she knew Petelgeuse, but she didn't remember him.
Also Geuse is a spirit that possesses other people, so he is hundreds of years old. He can only possess other people that have an affinity for spirits, like Subaru, that hasn't made a contract yet. That's why he wouldn't be able to possess people like Emilia or Julius, because they were already contracted with one.

So yes otto feels like he owes his life to subaru, also yes otto didn't steal anyone's girlfriend without their permission, its more like he got into a relationship with the rich girl from his village and didn't know she was dating another dude and the other dude found out about it and automatically suspected otto because he's the zodda bug weirdo, and cause the wife's a lying scumbag. He used his animal powers to figure out the truth and revealed to the guy that she cheats on basically every guy she has been with without them knowing. And he gets driven out because she gets mad and hires goons after him, otto used his merchant connections to get that merchant job from his older brother to escape and leave from the bitchs grasps. Oh also about the joke scene between subaru otto and Garfiel at the end there, its about last episode when Garfiel walked in and saw the writings on the wall for Emilia before Garfiel fought with subaru and even before subaru returned to comfort Emilia. The writings on the wall were basically him confessing his love for her, thats why he had to break the promise to stay with her. He was too anxious to be with her in person because of the mansion thing so he thought it'd be best to write it all in text on the wall even confessing his love for her there. Cheeky gar saw that, and also saw subaru and Emilia kissing but awkwardly had to walk back outside because he didn't wanna interrupt (kinda cute ngl such 8th grader energy). It happened before the fight with subaru ofc

Fun fact that was cut from the anime is at this point there are two different factions in the Witch Cult, the moderate faction led by Geuse, and the extremest faction led by Regulus. The faction led by Regulus is the evil twisted organization that we know in the anime today, while the moderate faction was exactly as you saw in this episode. They couldn't be more different. Soon you'll see exactly what happened which turned everything to what it has become in the present story.

In season one, Emelia met Petelguese once (in the body of a Finger) and froze him solid. During that entire encounter, he cried seemingly nonstop, and not the bloody tears he had previously wept- regular tears. It kind of takes on a whole new meaning after seeing he was a foster father to her for a time. It’s really sad.
To answer ur question abut regulus’ strength at the end, imagine this. This guy has an ability very similar to Gojo’s infinity. Regulus is able to defy the laws of reality with his abilities, and can even manipulate time to an extent. I feel like anything more would dive into too many spoilers.

Emilia stays frozen for about 100 years (don't have access to the exact number right now) so yeah, this flashback happens 100+ years before Subaru arrived in this world.
As far as I am aware there are no Ghosts and I've read all web novels aside from the latest one, spirits are naturally occurring beings in the world with a few exceptions(you will soon find out), as for Puck and his relationship with Emilia, that'd be spoiler territory even though there is not much to say at this point.
Regarding the scene with Otto and Betelgeuse in the flashback (and the scene with Ricardo and Otto), i think these were just supposed to illustrate what happened to Otto between his trading and the point when he got unbound in front of Subaru in the village (which was the pair's first time meeting in the present timeline). He was immediately drawn to Subaru this time round because he evidently owed him his life which was threatened by the cult capturing him. There could be more but i havent read the LN so 🤐
In this Timeline Otto get captured by the cultists and Subaru send out people to clear out the hideouts, there they found otto and rescued him. The little ferals bound oto to a stick for interogation and subaru there again freed otto and told the other people, that he is a trustworthy guy. That is the reason, why otto feels obligated to subaru and build freindly ties with him in this timeline. Also in this timeline otto drove the wagon like crazy to catch up to emilias wagon with the firestones about to explode.

The flashback you mentioned at the beginning of the video was just to show why Otto feels indebted to Subaru. He was caught by the witch's cult and freed by the mercenaries that were helping Subaru.
That seal being the seal for the Witch of Envy is a pretty good guess, but sadly you are missing information from the novels. At this point in the novels it was stated, that the seal for the Witch is in some desert.

Personally I think Emilia's parents sacrificed themselves to seal the Witch of Envy and Emilia's mother was just a different kind of witch which is why Emilia is being called a witch and seen as a potential host of the Witch of Envy back in season 1. Although that doesn't explain why she looked like Emilia when joining the tea party since she shouldn't be possessing Emilia at that time, maybe she's just able to change which form she has for Subaru's sake.

Satella must have known about this and became Envy, killing all of the witches, because she was jealous that Flugel was attracted to Minerva. A BIG point was made not many episodes ago about how Spirits do not have internal organs or blood, but are instead comprised of mana/spiritual energy. We are directly shown this. Ergo, it is *impossible* for him to be a spirit. Many humanoid races can have long lifespans and possession techniques are hardly special to spirits either. No evidence specifically points to him being a spirit with plenty saying he cannot be.

The way It's been explained to me is that every archbishop had the potential to be as powerful as Regulus but all the other archbishop either had or developed an obsession that prevented them from getting that powerful, not to say that Regulus himself doesn't have an obsession, he definitely does, It's just that his obsession just so happens to perfectly compliment his archbishop power.

But I suspect that it was actually 400 years, since Beatrice was spending all her time locked in the library.

In japanese there are multiple ways to referr to people depending on formslity and ststus... You may have already noticed the -chan, -kun, -san, -sama... At the end of names... Thise are called honorifics and denote your own character or relstionship to someone... The honorific can also be added to titles... In this case little emilia says Fortuna Kaa-sama... Meaning she is being formal to her but she is still her "mother" not in a church kind of way... That would still be "Mother/Maassa" using the actual english word but pronounced more japanese like... So emilia is quite respectful towards her "Mother" in particular... Or she is just a child raised to be really formal by strict parents....

Emilia's age is a bit of a mix. Physically, she's about Subaru's age. Mentally, she's younger but being forced to mature quickly. And technically, she's far far, FAR older, due to the fact that the ice drastically slowed her aging but didn't stop it.
It is less that it stopped her aging and moreso that he own elf lineage makes her stop aging as fast after reaching 18.

I do not believe, that beeing a witch has to do with heritage. I believe it has more a connection with a certain magical Power or with the Idea of a sin corresponding to that person. Like the witch of gluttony creating the Maebeast, the witch of envy devouring the other witches, something in this direction.
40:27 - not a spoiler; just a clarification. Emilia called herself a “witch” because she had always been treated like one. It’s like someone that’s always treated like they are a “bitch” calling themselves a bitch because they are confident enough to not care what people call them.
Nobody knows why some sins are stronger than others, but it’s usually fairly inconsistent what makes the authority stronger in certain people. Like, for example, the witch of sloth is much stronger than Betelgeuse.
But regulus is much much stronger than the witch of greed.
The power of the witch factor is dependent on who has it. Basically.
So, for example, right now Subaru’s sloth witch factor looks to be weaker than both geuse’s and the witches. Not to say that it isn’t fairly strong. Just not on their level.
But yes, you’ll see how strong he is soon. I won’t spoil anything.
The witch factor strength probably has to do with how much it fits in with your personality. Betelgeuse is weak simply because he himself is just not very slothful individual and yet he has the sloth witch factor.

Ok so it's just a personal theory here, but about the sins' archbishop powers level, i would say they fit their witch personnality. As it is my theory let me explain myself, and let me talk about the 4 archbishop we know. Betelgeuse, glutony one, Regulus (greed one) and the missing pride. Geuse is the sloth one, we could guess the with was to annoyed to give or build great power for her archbishop, that would explain his weakness. About the glutony one, being really stong could be part of him having the exact same sin like his witch, making him dangerous by nature. Greed one, being the Echidna's one, is maybe giving alot of knowlage and power in order to be able to be totally free to get any informations he wants, like Echidna would love too. And finally the pride one, well, the witch pride is maybe to high for her to rely on anyone, so she wouldn't give a inch of her power to any human or species, because no one is worth her.
Once again, it is just my reading of the thing i may be wrong, but i also may be right so carefull.

Sorry but as far as we know Witches dont have any influence or interraction with their corresponding sin archbishop at all as they have been dead 400years
The power is a bit random as it can change between users and regulus seems to have got a particularly broken ability ...but it also seems to be the more you embody a sin the more powerful your authority e.g. Regulus is VERY greedy so hes a good match but Geuse was NOT VERY slothful so hes a bad match

This event happened 107 years before main story/subaru arrival
1) Emilia's father is full elf , and emilia got silver hair from her father And Emilia's mother is full human and she got her eyes from her mother. Thats how Emilia became as half elf
3)For unknown reasons Emilia's father younger sister , Fortuna taking care about Emilia and settled in elior forest .
4) For unknown reasons guese, fortuna and that elf tribe looking out seal in this episode is unknown. But its not satella seal
5) for unknown reasons, guese knew about emilia parents
6) finally dickhead annoying dumbass regulus corneass appeared .
wait i have never had anybody to talk this about so isnt emilia the witch of envy. Because what if its like a time thing and thats why satella loves subaru so much. this is totally just a guess i have had since the second time i watched the witches tea party and we see satella face. i assume that it was emillia and some how in the future something happens and she has to use some type of power and go back in time. This is just what i've always assumed
