Saw the engine cowling on last night's PilotJam, had to come back to see the whole thing in today's video. I too love the color scheme, thank you for highlighting this beautiful work of art. Man that's super Nice... 💎🏁
EF has ARF models down a science. Thanks for checking in.
I'm on the waiting list for the orange, blue and white one at Extreme Flight. It would be AWESOME if it is available with the T-motor 780!
So far it looks like it's only offered with the XPWR 35 or 40.
That T-Motor 780 is a beast and the Orange/White/Blue scheme is really nice.
That is one serious gorgeous looking plane John. Can’t wait to see it in the air. Happy New Year to you and your family.
Thanks Bill! Happy New Year to you and yours as well.
It's funny how nice these planes look in the videos and the pictures. they look so much better in person.
Agreed. Pictures do not do these planes justice.
I heard some pilots are using the da 50cc motor in this with great results.
Thanks for sharing your 2023 with us . Here's to the 2024
Happy new year! Thanks for the comment.
That's a nice looking plane. I still fly my V1 78'' Extra. Nothing wrong with it. Can't wait to see what you think.
I saw it fly this weekend--jaw dropping. Video coming soon.
A good gas engine, maybe a boxer would sound and fly really well, can't wait for the maiden.!!
Happy new year!!
Happy New Year!
Awesome bird you got there john! Is it true that it comes with no assembly manual in the box? Happy New Year! Fotios
No manual. EF posts videos on YT walking through the instructions. Thanks for checking-in.
I am considering this plane. What standoffs did you get for that motor? Do the recommended standoffs size correctly in length for it?
Such helpful videos Cheers I have a question for all comers; I am flying a14-year-old KDS 450 Heli, no flight controller just a basic Gyro, still flies great, however I can't bind the KDS K-8X receiver to My TX16s mk1 running OpenTX 4n1, Suggestions on a good easy to bind receiver Please. Cheers Simon New Zealand
Beautiful plane, I'm for gas engines but electric is ok. Wish you a really Good New Year 🙂
Same here especially in this size range.
Happy New Year!
Hi there I buy the Extreme Bushmaster cnc 84'' what T-Motor do you recommend the AM 600 525kv or the AM 670 520kv.
EF recommends the AM600. They've usually worked these details out and you won't be wrong using the equipment they recommend.
Would like to see how this compares to the EF gamebird looking at getting one soon ….think all EF are great but would like to find the one with the best overall performance.
There really is no such thing as best overall performance. If you ask around, you'll find out they all have different personalities. The GB agains this plane is a classic example of what I'm talking about:
The GB wads up just looking at it. It's got a short tail moment so it doesn't mind flippy flying.
The NG has a longer tail moment. It will flip of course, but it's not as aggressive or fast as the GB, but it also accels at doing things like 4 point rolls, and slow rolls. The longer tail moment adds a degree of stability without damaging its ability to do 3D.
Honestly, it's one of the reasons I keep buying EF planes. They all have different personalities, and I enjoy learning them.
PS You should join or discord and ask this question in the #fixed-wing channel.
The laser is king for overall performance. Laser does precision with authority and tumbles for daays.
Sweet airplane!
edit: And... completely out of stock :(
Sadly they were out of stock the day they showed up in stock. I ordered this one right after they posted and they were gone by 10pm the same day.
Thats funny how different strokes for different folks. I had the exact plane running 12s wwith xpwr 40cc motor. Its the only plane ive had from extreme or skywing that I did not like. Too heavy. imho. My buddy has the 91 inch verson and its awesome on 12s electric but I dold my 78 incher. The plane is very hard to see in the air.
Yup, it's why there are options. I love this plane :)
I started with the gp 38 it was not powerful enough for this rather large 78 inch frame. Went to the 12s 40cc motor aand it was better but still a touch to heavy. Its a extremely well built design but imho might be overly built.
whats up with your website
Series or parallel on lipos?
Series--12s.
thank you. I'm new to 12 cells and fear the series connection. Do I connect them one at a time or do I pull the plug(loop switch) and hook them up and then restore it?@@RCVideoReviews
DA 50 would be my power choice....
yup. I had this plane with a gp 38 and it was a slow dog, lethargic. Its a big 70 inch frame almost as big as some 85 inch planes. The da 50cc is perfect for this plane
