    Gorgeous airplane, it's gonna fly fine on the set up You're gonna use . And we know you can't go wrong with an extreme flight airplane.

      It's ready to maiden. We'll see soon!

    Great video! Just FYI, I have this plane and originally built it around the Hacker A60-6XS with 6s 5000mah and the plane was insanely tail heavy. It wasn't even close. I had to go to an 8s 4000mah setup with Dualsky motor to get the balance close but the tail still drops when balancing at the wing tube. Good luck with the build!

      I had to add 2.5oz. Maybe later I'll re-arrange the rudder servo for pull pull, just didn't have the time to get it all done this week. 100% agree though, balance is out with the 6s format. (75c 6s5k too).

      @RCVideoReviews Yeah, I was disappointed when I saw the two tail servos when I first got it. I thought right away that might lead to a balance issue. If you do get around to adding a pull pull setup please make a how-to! Have you maidened her yet?

    Very well built plane. I"m just finishing a Pilot 73" Laser (I'm using a twin 40 gas) and I can see it's very similar. Superbly covered, hinged and taped, horizontal stab slotted and ready to fit. Templates supplied for different motors and also a clear plastic cowl template for cutting the exhaust stub holes. Both manufacturers doing a great job. Nicely presented video and I like the outtakes!

      Good luck with your Laser. Thanks for the comment.

    Hey I put a gas engine in my Slick and the motor with ignition and battery, weighs about 400 grams more than your setup plus I put a throttle servo in the front and it still comes out tail heavy if you check it at the 5 inch mark, it comes out a little nose heavy at the 5.75 mark. I’m trying to figure out why you had to add so little nose weight?

    I assume the bottom fuselage openings are not pre cut for the reason they are prone to catch dust in rough runways. If I opt one of these I would open those opening. Great plane and features, are these extreme flight plane has sleeve coverings like heat shrink which covers the whole fuselage? Clear skies and happy flights!

    • @RCVideoReviews
      @RCVideoReviews  5 месяцев назад +1

      I'm not sure, but I believe the IC (gas/nitro) guys don't need to open those for airflow where electric setups do. I don't understand your question about "sleeve coverings".

    • @tahirsterrestrialvlogs9859
      @tahirsterrestrialvlogs9859 5 месяцев назад

      @@RCVideoReviews I learned from review the covering used on extreme flight planes is a single piece like a sleeve which is ironed like a heat shrink and it fits in adapts with the surface unlike other planes' where a two separate piece are used one for bottom sides and one fir upper fuse where the joints are visible like a heat shrink a hollow covering and with a heat gun it is shrunk. Do you see any joints around the fuselage or jointless like no seamed the covering is just one piece then hope this clarifies. Nice videos though I often watch and enjoy listening and see them flying! Clear Skies!

    Whats your opinion on the 70" EF vs the 73" skywing? Worth the extra 3 inches?

    • @RCVideoReviews
      @RCVideoReviews  Месяц назад

      Tough call. They're both good. I like the looks of EF better. They fly very similarly.

      My preferred brand right now is Liperior from rcbattery.com. I also want to check out SMC. I'm not too thrilled with the performance of Turnigy comparatively speaking.
