did mine a couple of years ago...one was upsides down and bent..had to hacksaw it off
I replaced all rear suspension components (I found out one of the springs was broken and the shocks were bad), but I still hear knocking. I finally found that it was an exhaust hanger.
Oh gosh!
I just replaced mine yesterday! The left side literally fell off in the middle of the street, lol.
quite common!
I had installed febi on back didnt had problems, did not crack after two years. I replaced them because I was shooting parts cannon to find bad knock on back so spring or links was bad. Replaced to Febi again. They sell them as one too (at least where I live)
They should sell as a pair from Febi!
I have used meyle they are also very good they do a heavy duty front drop link mine have been on about 5byrs and still good considering I do about 10k per yr
@@MegaReddevil71 meyle is a good brand. I've many of them parts fitted
did mine as per mot failure and the only use they seen was the drive home,
Can you do this job with the car up on axle stands/rear wheels off the ground?
@@JazzFunkNobby1964 yes you can if both wheels are off the ground
Hi could I please be considered for the drop links that you got from Paul
I may have a use for them but I will bare this in mind!
Hey Andrew, for the front the better ones are aluminum ones right? I'm gonna be doing this job asap because the car is horrible in bumps. Also, could you please tell me the price of the st170 front and rear springs? My car sits a bit higher on the rear, the front springs are oem and the rear ones are Kayaba K Flex. Should i install st170 ones both in front and back? Or just the rear, and then get me some oem normal standard edition ones for the front?
st170 at the rear, normal at the front.
Aluminium or steel drop links either is good.
@usuallyfixingtinkering Thanks so much Andrew, you've been a major help!
