[Zenless Zone Zero] 2024-12 Deadly Assault (9 Stars)

Phew, forgot we were getting a new Shiyu Defense mode, which is way more straightforwad as it's basically just a boss rush. I actually found it quite fun because it's 3 minutes of non-stop action per stage. One downside of having well built characters is that in normal content everything dies before you even finish a combo, so having the bosses be basically invincible is quite fun because you can just keep hitting them over and over lol. It pairs especially well now that every character gets their own Decibels bar.
I managed to clear the first 2 stages in my first try, but the 3rd one gave me a lot of issues (no secrets here, 3rd run was spliced in so it all fits in 1 video). 3rd stage took me around 16 tries. At first I tried with a Jane/Seth/Nicole team, but damage was way too low (best I could achieve was 18k exactly). Kind of expected, as the boss is neither weak to Physical nor are the buffs really that useful if all I'm doing are raw Assaults. I didn't wanna believe but after several runs I decided to try my luck with my F2P Zhu Yuan team, and it actually managed to do it after several attempts. What baffles me the most is that this floor is Ice and Ether weak, but the stage mechanic buffs Ice and Electric damage?? like why lol.
This mode is pretty much a character check. I'm actually wondering how ppl who skipped several banners will do in this one. At the very least the Polychromes are only behind a 6 star clear, so you only need 2 stars in each stage which should be doable.
