I hate whan people dont close up the cars after scrounging for part. But a suggestion: take a can of spray lube with you and spray the hood hinges...when the springs are frozen you end up bending the hood trying to clse it!
I thought about that when I was editing the video. The owners son talked about us just taking the hood off the rusty hinges. Boss man might make that decision after he sees the video...I tried not to force any of them to bad..
I’m going to hit the boss man up about that next time I see him…. His son talked about just taking the hoods off the ones that won’t close ,remove the rusty hinges and lay the hood back down.. but it’s a lot of hoods that get on the ground sometimes..
Nice to see you trying to keep the worst of the weather out by closing the hoods decklids and doors should be a requirement Everytime a part is removed can only help them last longer

I bet somebody thought the world of that beauty when it was new..might have been somebody’s first car..I wished these old cars could talk

Try WD 40 or Blaster on the hood latches that wont move
