OMG! A 442! It must be saved! Oldsmobile stopped production on the 442 because it was too fast! 4 barrel 4 speed duel exhaust. It's my dream car. Blue with white racing 1969 model. They just don't make cool cars anymore.
Totally agree-442s are absolute legends, and it’s heartbreaking to see one just sitting abandoned. Thank you for all the information on the car, that is really interesting. Hopefully, someone does come along and save it.
The OLDS 442 is back in my days, I drove one that was my friends and at the time had a Pontiac 455 HO with 430 HP. I will say these cars "MOVED OUT" would throw you back into the seat, they were really fun to drive and driving was fun, I miss those great days of yesterday !! I am a car nut also---- 😝
It’s such a classic with a timeless design-seeing it sitting there is both amazing and heartbreaking. Hopefully, someone can restore it to its former glory!
Thank you so much! It really is a beautiful mansion, and it’s heartbreaking to see it left behind. I’m glad you enjoyed the video-your support means a lot!
Your appreciation and respect for someone’s else’s lives, property and memories is such a testament to your character. Thank you for an incredible video and I look forward to more!
Oh my God, I love that car. I drove one in high school is a friend of mine’s dad always to get one just never had it opportunity of the video. I hope From Line brought the car and restored it.
Good Video, well Done 🎉 24:11 When you said "I can't believe they just left a 944 behind in the garage" and Stringer Media shook his head, I nearly fell out of my chair! Ha! 😂😮😅
Yes, that was a mistake, Kaizer's reaction was funny haha. I said 944 because we both recently filmed an incredible abandoned house with a Porsche 944 in the garage so it was still in my mind.
Stain glass windows are wonderful. And I was intrigued by the bathroom shower tub and who wouldn’t want that beautiful 442 wow I hope you guys get more information on this and share with us that would be great.
Thank you! The stained glass windows are stunning, and that shower tub is definitely unique-such a creative touch. And of course, the 442 is a real showstopper! Unfortunately, without being able to talk to the old owners, additional information is difficult to find out.
A house is abandoned, I have a dream of having one but in Brazil it is not easy to have a house, for a person to achieve something is very difficult in Brazil this house is so beautiful ❤
Isn’t it weird how much time, effort, and money we put any getting a home and filling it just to one day sit all alone…it makes me sad to think about it
Life is fleeting for sure. People need to do what the Swedish do..death cleaning so your family are not left with the monumental task of clearing out your stuff.
Such an incredible house hopes somehow this house gets saved by either a family member or a buyer before its too late There are so many great things about this house The house itself and the amazing things left behind Thanks guys this was a really wonderfully interesting explore
Thank you so much! I completely agree-this house has so much potential, and it would be amazing to see it saved before it’s lost forever. The unique features and everything left behind make it truly special.
I bet it’s sad when everything left behind with all the family photos all on the floor who owned the house it’s very sad and if I was there explorer I’ll be emotional tears
Maybe there's a legal battle between the surviving kids and family? I also wonder about the tent out in the front yard. Is someone squatting their? Maybe a family member stays there sometimes to keep an eye on the place I have a feeling with all that expensive stuff that it is well watched. And maybe the family just doesn't know what to do with everything as of yet. Hopefully everything especially that 442 gets saved!
442 is pobably a Indy Pace Car optioned version. The stripes and hood are signitures of that version. Some have "Indianapolis 500 Pace Car" lettering on the door, though not all had them installed at the dealership.
Just curious, where do you get your background on all the houses you do videos on. It seems to always be very detailed. I would love to learn more history on some houses I've always wondered about. The most I can come up with it who owns then and maybe a little about the owner because they were businesspeople, wealthy, etc. But most place I can't find anything other than who the owner or previous owners were. This owner must have liked all cars since he had an Oldsmobile and worked for Chrysler. I guess you love what you love, I know my son loves Volvos.
I have a question to ask you do you know when you go abundant houses with everything left behind? Does it make you feel like when you look at all that stuff? Does it make you feel like it’s sad when they left their stuff behind when you looked at them photos, it looks like it’syou bringing back their memories of who I own that house.
It’s definitely strange, and it does feel like there’s more to the story. Leaving everything behind like that suggests something sudden or unexpected happened
Really nice exterior- inside largely unfinished outside of main floor, but you can imagine what it may have been like had it been complete. Still gotta wonder why no relative took that car.
Definitely, the exterior is beautiful, and it’s easy to imagine how incredible the finished interior would have been. As for the car, it’s definitely puzzling why no one took it
Would luv to know what town and where this is... I would check to see if it's possible to purchase it... It looks as if the home could be cleaned up and refurbished... Plus I could probably tell you two a few things about the Oldsters since I be one...😎... Plus if it is possible to get you could get what is called a Finders Fee... Thanks for the Video... Very nicely done... Too bad it's getting messed up by local Hooligans... Peaceful Travels...
Quite fascinating to see they abandoned this suddenly. All this collection around the world all stays here. To think how they collect all this & it leftover like garbage.
It is fascinating and a bit heartbreaking to see everything left behind like this. It’s clear the family put so much effort into collecting these treasures, yet they were left behind in such a sudden way.
It's extremely odd to leave a valuable car like that behind. Especially if they had some kind of auction to attempt to sell off some stuff. Even in rough condition, that 442 is worth quite a bit these days.
Absolutely, it’s sad to think about what the house could have been if the owner’s vision had been fully realized. Even unfinished, you can see the creativity and care that went into it-it would’ve been breathtaking completed!
It's definitely a mystery how someone could leave behind such a valuable property and all their belongings. Sometimes, wealth doesn’t make grief or emotional pain any easier to handle, and that could explain why they never returned.
@silent.hills.explorations everything is possible, I remember some cases where people investigated children or other family members of abandoned properties and they were said that "it is too much work, we have lots of other properties so we don't care"... even those abandoned houses contained many valuable thigs like art stuff, historical furniture, all electronics, cars, just everything left to looters. After two years of neglect everything was ripped off, stolen or damaged. Crazy!
According to opening info...the house was in the process of being renovated. The father died suddenly & the family couldn't handle the grief it brought all of them. The family up & left, leaving everything behind. Supposedly a family of artistic people...
Id worry about that 442 now that this video is out. You dont understand how collectible those are, and it looks to be in fairly restorable condition. The house has an interesting story and someone cared enough once to build their dream… sadly cut short. The Olds though, deserves to be saved with the right new owner!
I had an Oldsmobile 442 just like this car sadly I had to sell back then for money issues at that time my 442 was an 8 year old vehicle then. I kick my self today for not having it today that would be funny if that was my old 442 vehicle.
Just cause theres writing utensils doesnt mean a woman definitely lived there. And that first furniture had no dust. Nothing wrong with it. The rest has alot of dust. Family needs to be talked to to see if they would come and get this beautiful stuff
It really is sad to see everything left behind like that. It’s heartbreaking when a home full of memories is abandoned, and the mystery of why they left so suddenly only adds to the sadness.
The house did go to the children. However, they chose not to do anything with the property and belongings. It is relatively common for that to happen unfortunately.
Seems some peoples lives get so complicated that it gets to be too much for them (or relatives) to even handle properly. Pretty sad that so many nice things are going unappreciated.
A lot of the time the former homeowners have no choice but to leave the property and leave lots of stuff behind. The house and property are most likely owned by a bank after previous owners were in mass debt and declared bankruptcy. People should be very careful about going to places like that. You could be arrested and charged with trespassing.
Thank you for your concern. The bank however will care even less about properties, since they will either demolish them or hold until property value goes up. Unfortunately, they couldn't care less what happens to the house if they are the ones who own it at the moment.
From my viewpoint you had to have walked across the trunk of the car to get your other angle of car. Tall ceilings for the hoist that you almost tripped over (blue arms) by drivers door
I agree, it looks like there may have been some vandalism, which is really unfortunate. It's such a wonderful house, and it’s sad to see it in this condition.
I used to run into that couple at auctions on Hall Street. I knew Of the house that they put so much work into sad to see the vandalism are you guys supposed to be in there?

It's a very popular car in Japan. Buy it and sell it to a Japanese dealer. Triple your money.
The car needs to be saved.
Totally agree-442s are absolute legends, and it’s heartbreaking to see one just sitting abandoned. Thank you for all the information on the car, that is really interesting. Hopefully, someone does come along and save it.
They didn't stop it because it was too fast. That's ridiculous.

That house was definitely one of a kind! I hope somebody can save that 442!

Mine as well
Wow, a 1970 Oldsmobile 442 convertible! Other than the painted bumpers it looks stock. What a great car!
Strange it was never taken by bank or estate and sold at auction
It’s such a classic with a timeless design-seeing it sitting there is both amazing and heartbreaking. Hopefully, someone can restore it to its former glory!
@marcstannard6322 Best thing about these cars you didn't have to modify them. They were fast right off the block.
I own one, that’s a 1970, looks all original not modified, I would love to know more about this place, might buy all with a cash offer.
That Oldsmobile needs to be saved !!
Another Great Video!! The videography is amazing. Great job and Thank You for sharing.
What a gorgeous & grand mansion! It’s always sad too see a house abandoned! Awesome video & explore as always! 👍👍❤️✊🤘
Thank you so much! It really is a beautiful mansion, and it’s heartbreaking to see it left behind. I’m glad you enjoyed the video-your support means a lot!
Great find 442!!
Nice video.
89k original miles is nothing! Why can't I find that car!!! Damnnnn!
Thank you so much! The 442 is definitely a treasure, and I’m glad you enjoyed the video.

They recently did an explore with a Mercedes and a Porsche 944 left behind--Enrique was probably still thinking of that.

Classic 442 is so Awesome. I love classic cars from my Uncle he has a 1970 Chevelle Convertible and they are so much fun riding in with the top down .
Omg ,get that 442 if you can
it belongs to and is titled in my great aunts name. she also pays the taxes on the place so stay the fck out

Great camera work and narration. I don’t think people realize it’s not that easy to narrate videos like this.
Amazing house and that car is wow 👌

Thanks guys this was a really wonderfully interesting explore
why?
no heirs?
who pays taxes?
There seems to be no laws that ensure these abandoned properties do not become death traps?
@@msaw5943 Yes those are the questions when abandoned properties are involved

I'd love to find out what state this home is in. Definitely interested in researching it for purchase.
It’s definitely an intriguing property! I can understand the interest-there’s so much potential there. This location is around Massachusetts
Such a beautiful home. The car is also beautiful. Thank you for sharing
how bout i break in your house and put it on youtube
That Oldsmobile is beautiful
It’s better once he’s inside if you mute the sound and just watch as he walks through
I like how you called tools “Basement Things to Work on Stuff “.
I was not sure what exactly they were, so I had to simplify it haha. Thanks for watching!

My brother owned a 442! Nice car! Cannot believe anyone would knowingly leave such a car to rot! There weren’t too many of them!
Good job 👍

Wow, so beautiful.. But so sad because they not finish it. 😢
When a family member passes that is not the way to honor them. Its like throwing memories in the trash.
Memories are transient and not everyone has a family to take care of the passing.
@sicooper4230 Never said everyone has a family to take care of a passing.
Such a beautiful place. Dang I wish a fella like me could afford to own a place like that

When houses like that become abandoned the city should take possession and sell everything in an auction.
This surprises me, you would thing there would be a probate sale, there has to be Property tax , that has not been paid.
Cool video!
In the furnitures in the Morning for the state in the notice in the hold in furniture 💜
Something definitely wrong here they left in a rush because of something they did. Or something even worse.
I thought the same thing. I wonder if they ran into some foul play while on their travels. It kind of sad.
It’s definitely strange, and it does feel like there’s more to the story. Leaving everything behind like that suggests something sudden or unexpected happened

If this house could talk, imagine the stories it could tell....
it would say 2 days ago 2 scumbags broke in
How much would the house sell for and how much would contents sell for except veicals and how much would veicals sell for
No one knows that. All that stuff would have to be auctioned off and a legal process of acquisition. Repairs to have it secured and etc
I WANT TO BUY IT
Those square little pics that you hold to the light to see are called slides and you need a slide projector to view them properly.

I think they would have became hoarders but time ran out on them before they could finish filling it up.
Although abandoned and a mess just seems an odd set up
That could have been the case. I like to think that the vandals chose to respect some parts of the home and the car.
