Haven’t played any of them but I do want to try them out. Pretty sure I’ll prefer the originals because they seem Gameplay focused instead of the Ultra Cinematic Story Driven Cutscene Heavy walking Simulators.
@@Supercon613Finished the video. I feel you when it comes to not needing to give a game your full attention. That’s why I play Sonic games so much, the gameplay itself is enough for me to enjoy it without needing to get fully immersed and watch hours worth of cutscenes.
Hi for some reason my comments keep disappearing so I'm on another acc anyways I'm a new subscriber you have great content! and I can clearly see your a sonic fan, oh I've got the treat for you. I'm making the Sonic Frontiers we never had, exclusively on dreams! And no its not some Bad game made it 10mins I put months into this and I would love for you to make a video on it so it can get more attention. Its called.. Sonic Avalora On Dreams ofc Thank you.😉
Chains of Olympus has the saddest moment in the series imho. It is even sadder if you are a father with a daughter. Just thinking about it chokes me up every time!
I have a hard believing that Kratos would struggle against a freaking bear. The dude fought Kaiju sized beings, God's and the entire Olympian myths. And people are gonna say that it's a magic bear or something. Even if it was, the real Kratos would have snapped that bears neck in a matter of a few minutes.
My girst GoW game was the 3,i really like that game, but when i played the 2018 one, its became my favorite and i know its because im grown now, story and attention to the details works for me, I've been through a lot things in life and i can't disconnect my brain on a wouga bouga type game when u just focus on combat. And ur issues are not with the game is PlayStation😂, u even say it( i feel like im playing any ps game). Now i will ask u which other game did u play and looks like GoW new ones?) Personally i dont think old GoW are better but i think it just speaks more to some people like the new ones do💁♂️.
Same, no nostalgia either, may I like old games sure but I like plenty of modern games, I also hate many modern games how modern, empty gameplay feeling they are at times, done to death copy cat then better competition of the past among popular genres. It's the scale, the missions/combat, story telling. I prefer the old one sure it's linear but the puzzles are more fun, I don't care about the last of us format on God of War. I may enjoy old games, it's because oh they balance, scale, how they do pacing of puzzles, platforming and items, combat, cutscenes, but how they do it. 2018 is open world missions, story, jumps/climbing like Uncharted, no items that are that exciting. I can take an indicator in a racing game, not a third person game. Fish and is a game that has more combat flexibility then Ryse Son of Rome that came before Hell blade and that God of War also can be compared to but Hellblade blends it differently as well. Also the subject matters. I don't care about a family journey. Poking a water god in the eyes, the scale of the titans for 3, the statue in the background and to I don't want to feel for their journey, I want gameplay not story telling so emotional and boring with equally boring missions. Tomb Raider did it, it was fine, I didn't finish Rise, not played Shadow. I played 2018 God of War for the story, and hated the gameplay. Didn't buy Ragnarok, others have, not played I refuse to play it.
I get that, but imo I don’t wanna have to be fighting enemies and looking for an indicator telling me what’s behind me thats just annoying to me, as well as a talking head constantly telling me there’s someone behind me I don’t find that fun but that’s just my opinion
It's not nostalgia if you find the same level of if not more joy from the experience. It's nostalgia if you fondly remember it but when you go back to experience whatever it is its not as good as how you remember it.
The more you tell me you’re not being nostalgic, the more I believe you actually are. Don’t make excuses for your opinion, just tell your god damn point bro
Best, of the best... Always loved the OGs always will 🙌🏻
I've been playing God of war series since I was 5 and now I'm 21

Trust me the originals, especially the trilogy, you’ll have a waaaaayyyy better time with. Think of it like a better werehog from unleashed

Bro needs to make an open air vs traditional Zelda vid

You forget that same bear is literally his son and not just some regular bear
@@Mrsplifferdoodle Ah, that explains why the fight drags on for too long.
God of war 2 is goated

6:48 is honestly a skill issue. it literally gives you a indicator AND a talking head to tell someone is attacking you
