Thanks for watching another one of mental breakdowns. You are right...it is small. If I had been an officer in the U.S. Military at the time, and was issued one of these, I would have given it back and requested the full-size "Government" model. "Is that what you think of me!", I would begin. "An officer needs more protection because of rank, you know!", I would continue. Then I would go all whiny Major Burns from M.A.S.H on them. "How dare you.....! I carried a Colt MK IV Series 80 Officer's Model off-duty when I was a LEO. Being compact, it was easier to conceal, but it and I did not hit it off when we needed to qualify. SO, I ended up carrying off-duty with what I carried on-duty, a Colt MK IV Series 80 Government Model. Even after I was not allowed to carry the 1911 on-duty, when I had to switch to a DA/SA pistol (Sig Sauer P220), I still carried the Government model off-duty. I eventually sold the Officer's Model. Now I have three Officer models from different manufacturers. They do take some tweaking, and in some cases a gunsmith, to get them running the way they should at times.

Good to see you again!😁
Nice but too small for me😃😃
