How to Set Up the Hot Shoe Mount on Sennheiser G3 and G4 Wireless

In this tutorial I'll show you how to assemble and install the hot shoe adapter on your Sennheiser G3 and G4. All you need is a Phillips head screwdriver and 2 minutes. :)

You should know your belt clip is backwards. Probably better for holding the hot shoe mount though

Hey thanks for mentioning this. I usually mount the receiver on my hot/cold shoe (which is why mounted the clip that way) but this is a good point worth bringing up. I'll pin it up for others to see.

Seems to be tough to find. BH has this “shoe mount adapter” but I’m not sure if it will fit your G3 transmitter:

@@JeremyY Jeremy you rock! I determined my difficulty in finding the clip was that I was using the wrong terminology for it. I have been trying to find this part for almost a year, but with no success. Once I found the correct term, I quickly found the clip on Amazon. I ordered it last night, and it will be delivered today. I live in Sacramento. Thanks again Jeremy, I owe you big time!

I thought hot shoe means the sound travels direct from receiver through mount into camera this looks like a cold shoe mount only, correct?
