The level of gameplay? Today a Seattle, first one of our team to die of course, raged around 10 minutes at me, even started looking at my World of Tanks statistics (which are good btw, 55% WR, in Warships it's 56%, nothing too amazing) because i, in my shimakaze did not go and fight the enemy grossowoi. The Seattle apparently didn't get the memo about his radar and managed to get surprised by the grossowoi and torped to death. According to the seattle i should have somehow known at all times where the grossowoi is and sailed between him and the seattle so that it would be impossible for him to get torped. I am guessing that more players from world of tanks are switching over because warships still has cross-team chat. Here they can still rage just as hard as they did years ago in WoT.
Knodsil it's dropping with every match, bruh. I am now finding myself topping the scoreboard with slightly above average gameplay. And I mean slightly. I barely score 100k damage with most of my ships per battle. I seen the CCs get 200k like nothing. Literally performing half as good as Flamu and I still get first place.
I have a almost 49% win rate on my account in NA with right at 3000 battles played but what's funny is I let my brother who don't play that much and his 12 year old son play on my account just because i have better ships in my port. So I think that's pretty funny to still be able to maintain better than I'd say must players even letting my noob brother and my noob nephew play on my account and they still do better than seasoned players at higher tiers.
Your right and a point I didn't make in my above commit is more times than not no matter which one of us is playing on my account we end up in top of our teams score board win or lose.
This game summarize everything I hate about this game. Fighting against your enemies and the stupidity of your own team that can sabotage your effort to win is mind numbing. WG needs to change their "Scoring System".
Friendly reminder, you are probably one of them too. People needs to change "It's my team's fault" and try to go "Damn, I fucked up, maybe I should do x instead of y". Good players will analyze their experiences and become better, bad players is too fixated with someone else's mistakes and almost never grow.
when u r REPEATEDLY on top of your team ranking, BY FAR, it really shows that your team is the one to blame. especially when its REPEATEDLY done in a DALLAS in a T8 game!
Yes and no, your team is probably indeed a glue eater, but try to find your own mistakes, being consistently at top doesn't necessarily means you don't do wrong things. I did a lot of top exp lose too and used to blame my team for their incompetence, but as I grows, I realized, my team isn't the only factor, some games, I was the one who messed up and letting my enemies to overwhelmed my team, topped the scoreboard but that didn't entirely erase my initial mistake.
everyone does mistakes but im not to blame for team not winning. there is a limit of how much u can carry the team. you cant do 0 mistakes and be perfect. even when u r nearly perfect your team is so horrid that u got no chance of winning...u cant blame it on yourself. i always try to improve but im not the one responsible for horrible no chance losses.

People drop out, newcomers do show up, but have inevitably less playtime, experience and those few that remain that DO have the experience run into matches such as this one. Its only natural. Eventually you too will drop out Flamu. The reasons can be many, but its like darwin's law. The game essentially kills itself. This holds true for just about every game. And in many other real life concepts this holds true as well. However, do not despair, in the long run its a good thing, for someone will step up their game and improve upon life's mistakes. And a better game will come out, and we can maybe have working cv's, or idiot proof BB's, or actual scouting xp gains and so on.

Lets do some basic back of the napkin math here. Your average match in WoWs has 24 players, discounting yourself, thats 23. Lets say, for argument's sake you meet new unique accounts you never met before in any match in any tier for each battle. After a hundred games, you would have met 2300 accounts. The average server load at peak hours for EU at the moment is 25k ish. Such would suggest you need to have played a 1000 matches, to have met the entire playerbase. However, we cant all play 24/7. I seem to remember that a while back wargaming boasted how they had a 150million unique accounts across all their products. Then there is the minor issue of seperate servers. And offcourse you cannot possibly remember if you never met a player in any given match before. Add in that the average winrate is 48%, due to 1% of games lost due to technical reasons such as disconnects or wife going into labour or mom yelling dinnertime, and 1% of draws, and a 50/50 chance of winning or loosing. Now we need to connect names of anonimous players with a plethora of different ships they have access to and can play with, and quickly you will start to understand that its impossible to say if you know exactly how many "44% winrate players" there are. Its fairly hard to count the number of unique individuals in a crowd when they all have distinctly different outfits and faces, try doing that in a game. To suggest you see a ton of em, and fail to define how many, only leads to more confusion. In the end, there is no way of knowing if there are a thousand 44% winrate players, 10 thousand, or even a million. And even if there were, It still be but a drop in the ocean of the total playerbase, of which millions you will never see. So while they might be infuriating when you meet them, and when they ruin your game, There will be equally as many, or more players with a 44% winrate that you have met, that win you a game. Perhaps now you can rejoice at sighting a statistically bad player, and know you still have a 48% of winning.
Just went through the WoWs-Numbers.com stats of the players you killed in the build up to the Kraken; average avg. damage of the players: 29,000 - average player rating: 690 (bottom 10% of active players) - average games played: 5,100. Meanwhile your team is also dropping like flies... the only way to get super high scores in a match is if both teams are abysmal, all 6 of my 200,000+ damage games have been losses, it's the reason why there are players like me with barely 1,000 games played but rank in the top 20% of players already

I always thought I was not very good at the game until the 2nd year or so of playing and I looked at Warships Today (it was the only stat site I knew of) only to find that across the board I was above average in virtually every category. Sometimes by a lot, sometimes not by much, but except for a few exceptions I was doing better than the average player in everything. What does that say about the average skill of a player when a newb like me could get such stats? And this was back when WoWS was "new" (2016 or so). Christ.
Lt. Voss Ya, especially when playing top tier, I am always 100% the lowest player on the team in terms of games played, but also in the top 3 or 4 in terms of damage and PvP rating. The game is too slow-paced to allow players to learn, and people justify suiciding by saying they only want XP or credits, but you get more by winning and surviving....
It helps to play a few ship instead of collecting then you get easier high end captains - I have found that the collecting style that I belong to have some disadvantage to those focusing more on fewer ships.

Montana is great. Loved her from the day I finally got her. I unlocked the Moskva about a month ago, and I really fell in love with that one. Moskva is insane!
Tier 8-10 really has devolved into shit. I’ve been playing since closed alpha and tier 10 has never been as bad as it was last night. Played 6 games in Cleveland, all of which were T10 games. For the first 5 games my team were combinations of lemming trains, going to the tactically inferior cap points, refusing to listen to team communication, failing to call targets, losing engagements that should have been guaranteed wins. The last game I finally won, somehow my Cleveland’s Win rate is still in the 60s and my account win rate is 58%, almost 59%.
Go to the forum and question the downward spiral of team-play, the quality of the average player, and the skill imbalance of match-making (especially at high tiers) and get trolled to pieces. Told to "git gud." Told to "uninstall." Told "there's nothing wrong." Flamu makes a video highlighting the disparity and everyone agrees..... O_o F*ckin power of suggestion right there...

I thought I was going mad, because the quality of play on Asia server had reduced even further. I actually had a Minekaze gunfight an Oct. Revolution the other day. Tactical play quality has been steadily decreasing, I saw weekend intelligence during weekdays, and I came out top of the team inspite of being completely drunk. Wonder why that is...

I dont know why i focused on getting Yamato and Kurfurst, i need this ship!!! Alltho i think its a pretty good tactic for lets say a Youyang and maybe a Hinden to go D to secure that cap and then ninja cap C from the channel i never support any BBs going there. Alltho this Youyang had a brainfart and forgot to take C from channel?! Is Montana best ship for Halsey? I was considering Fletcher since its a gun reload buff and consealment and its not that hard to earn those triggering achievements in that ship?
Every game lately has been like this for me. The DDs don’t focus on objectives or spot, the battleships stay way too far back, and the cruisers get nuked. It’s bad when you go from tier X to V and see an improvement. It’s a good thing I’m working on my French BBS or I’d go mad.

But you didnt put chat on so ppl can see clearly what was going on and also your description of the situation between us is totally wrong. You knew why i was doing this chase. After the first succesfull torp salvo i scored (which you should have praised in the video but anyway :P), you said why am i still chasing you instead of capping and i said that i wont do shit for the shitheads in my team cause they were camping at A-B behind the islands for over 7-8 minutes . So clearly i didnt care for capping or winning or whatever cause the sheer stupidity of those involved in this battle, from both teams, prevented me from wanting to actually play and win. Later i got bored from chasing you and switched to Bismarck for a change but i was already dissapointed and bored to death thus Bismarck survived. Then when you returned closer to A i decided to chase you again just for the heck of it, if you remember i said just before i opened fire that i have a delivery for you, 2 cheeseburgers :P. So in any case the point in this video wasnt that a frustrated Gearing was chasing the best and most dangerous ship in battle but that around 10-15 ships didnt have a goddamn clue of the game in this Highest Tier battle. Its a shame that WG supports this atrocity, gives no respect to seasoned players by making them play with "human bots" that have no clue. And no, its no fun after so many years playing to sink noobs in T10s, its sad and i want this to change. By posting videos of this disgusting situation i hope it will help.

It was a funny fight to watch. Wow flamu, you definitely pull that battle out of you. If it wasn't for you, your team would have lost most definitely and I have had to deal with this all the time and I don't have the same skill set as you do. I am learning and improving from your videos. Well, that stuff is going to get worse before better since now the grind has allowed those players that aren't good at all to be in tier 10 now. Totally anticipated that Flamu will post a vid where he will struggle with his team and against the enemy team. For me, which is nowhere near good as Flamu struggles in this type of situation. For the past month, radar cruisers added already ruined my entire role as a DD main. Then the Indianapolis marathon... Those missions that require a win... Especially part 25 was the one that got me mad(2 fires, 2cits in a winning battle). For five consecutive rounds I did the the 2 cits and 2 fires, and did what I could to let my team gain the upper hand. But as soon as I was taken down by the enemy team, my team shattered to pieces when all they needed to do was to survive and not push anymore for kills. In the sixth round I finally won. From this Indy marathon that lasted for a month and a half, I seriously question myself why I still bother playing this game when I could just hop on to Fortnite and join my buddies. Every battle in Wows is a another battle of when I quit wows for good.
Awesome game flamu you have always been incredible in that ship. Your probably the reason they keep it as it is. The game would be a lot different if it had its full time radar out to about 25km and its historical 16.5 km ranged secondaries Not sure if it would of had hydro but wouldn't surprise me if it did. If I ever re spec that boat and give it another try I think accuracy will be the path I take.
Damn. When I was at 600 games played and had grinded up to T IX a veteran player suggested, I might go back to lower tiers to learn the ropes. Which I did. But I have to say, I don't potatoe as hard (even back then) as those guys. Maybe I give it a shot again? :D
To be fair to that Gearing driver, as much as Flamu made him waste time, the Gearing pushed Flamu into being more or less useless as well. If he’d let Flamu be to sail unmolested, he’d have exposed his team to a Kraken Montana with plenty of health. He only got desperate when the score made it necessary, and ultimately he did manage to sink Flamu in a close fight.
The trick in matches like this is not to try and carry too hard. A good player can spot a potato team early on. A great one keeps his patience and doesn't force himself into a bad situation just to put the team over the top. I'm a good player.
I struggle very hard to reach scores of over 120k and here SOME people (no fingers pointed) "gets" over 200 in under 10 minutes and total of just below 300k in the worst possible scenarios. I'm gonna give this crap up, walk straight out into the Swedish woods and pick blueberries or some shit like that. Awesome game btw!
It's weird but I was playing cruisers for weeks, struggling to get a win. Even if I carried to the end, it was a close loss. Then I switched to DDs and MM seems to favor that. Wins with top 3 finishes, easy wins and carries.

Honestly, it's not surprising that WoWs retains such a terrible player base even at Tier 10. The game offers no help whatsoever for players to improve their skills or learn what to do and not to do. The map design is such that taking initiative and being aggressive often result in a quick, early death. The gap between making mistakes and suffering the consequences for them is often too large for uninformed players to understand what, exactly, they did wrong. And the reward system encourages selfish play, rather than team play.
Salty waffles is correct. I barely get an hour a week to play. It wasn’t till I came across Jingles and found out most games are streamed to RUclips that I found out about angling armour and using concealment and the how to use AP properly. Now I just need a clan that actually talks and plays together... next level learning shit.

When you point this out during the game you hear “The point is to have fun, not win”. This is usually said by someone with like a 45 percent win rate.

Ya, especially when playing top tier, I am always 100% the lowest player on the team in terms of games played, but also in the top 3 or 4 in terms of damage and PvP rating. The game is too slow-paced to allow players to learn, and people justify suiciding by saying they only want XP or credits, but you get more by winning and surviving....
It helps to play a few ship instead of collecting then you get easier high end captains - I have found that the collecting style that I belong to have some disadvantage to those focusing more on fewer ships.

Montana is great. Loved her from the day I finally got her. I unlocked the Moskva about a month ago, and I really fell in love with that one. Moskva is insane!
Tier 8-10 really has devolved into shit. I’ve been playing since closed alpha and tier 10 has never been as bad as it was last night.
Played 6 games in Cleveland, all of which were T10 games. For the first 5 games my team were combinations of lemming trains, going to the tactically inferior cap points, refusing to listen to team communication, failing to call targets, losing engagements that should have been guaranteed wins.
The last game I finally won, somehow my Cleveland’s Win rate is still in the 60s and my account win rate is 58%, almost 59%.
Wow 1 game from Flamu netted him more fxp than what i can get for 1 month.
Camos, signals and premium account time = lots of XP, free XP and captain XP.

Every game lately has been like this for me. The DDs don’t focus on objectives or spot, the battleships stay way too far back, and the cruisers get nuked.
It’s bad when you go from tier X to V and see an improvement.

But you didnt put chat on so ppl can see clearly what was going on and also your description of the situation between us is totally wrong. You knew why i was doing this chase. After the first succesfull torp salvo i scored (which you should have praised in the video but anyway :P), you said why am i still chasing you instead of capping and i said that i wont do shit for the shitheads in my team cause they were camping at A-B behind the islands for over 7-8 minutes . So clearly i didnt care for capping or winning or whatever cause the sheer stupidity of those involved in this battle, from both teams, prevented me from wanting to actually play and win. Later i got bored from chasing you and switched to Bismarck for a change but i was already dissapointed and bored to death thus Bismarck survived. Then when you returned closer to A i decided to chase you again just for the heck of it, if you remember i said just before i opened fire that i have a delivery for you, 2 cheeseburgers :P.
So in any case the point in this video wasnt that a frustrated Gearing was chasing the best and most dangerous ship in battle but that around 10-15 ships didnt have a goddamn clue of the game in this Highest Tier battle. Its a shame that WG supports this atrocity, gives no respect to seasoned players by making them play with "human bots" that have no clue. And no, its no fun after so many years playing to sink noobs in T10s, its sad and i want this to change. By posting videos of this disgusting situation i hope it will help.

It was a funny fight to watch. Wow flamu, you definitely pull that battle out of you. If it wasn't for you, your team would have lost most definitely and I have had to deal with this all the time and I don't have the same skill set as you do. I am learning and improving from your videos. Well, that stuff is going to get worse before better since now the grind has allowed those players that aren't good at all to be in tier 10 now. Totally anticipated that Flamu will post a vid where he will struggle with his team and against the enemy team. For me, which is nowhere near good as Flamu struggles in this type of situation. For the past month, radar cruisers added already ruined my entire role as a DD main. Then the Indianapolis marathon... Those missions that require a win... Especially part 25 was the one that got me mad(2 fires, 2cits in a winning battle). For five consecutive rounds I did the the 2 cits and 2 fires, and did what I could to let my team gain the upper hand. But as soon as I was taken down by the enemy team, my team shattered to pieces when all they needed to do was to survive and not push anymore for kills. In the sixth round I finally won. From this Indy marathon that lasted for a month and a half, I seriously question myself why I still bother playing this game when I could just hop on to Fortnite and join my buddies. Every battle in Wows is a another battle of when I quit wows for good.

Awesome game flamu you have always been incredible in that ship. Your probably the reason they keep it as it is. The game would be a lot different if it had its full time radar out to about 25km and its historical 16.5 km ranged secondaries Not sure if it would of had hydro but wouldn't surprise me if it did. If I ever re spec that boat and give it another try I think accuracy will be the path I take.
Damn. When I was at 600 games played and had grinded up to T IX a veteran player suggested, I might go back to lower tiers to learn the ropes. Which I did.
But I have to say, I don't potatoe as hard (even back then) as those guys. Maybe I give it a shot again? :D

To be fair to that Gearing driver, as much as Flamu made him waste time, the Gearing pushed Flamu into being more or less useless as well. If he’d let Flamu be to sail unmolested, he’d have exposed his team to a Kraken Montana with plenty of health. He only got desperate when the score made it necessary, and ultimately he did manage to sink Flamu in a close fight.
The trick in matches like this is not to try and carry too hard. A good player can spot a potato team early on. A great one keeps his patience and doesn't force himself into a bad situation just to put the team over the top.
I'm a good player.
I struggle very hard to reach scores of over 120k and here SOME people (no fingers pointed) "gets" over 200 in under 10 minutes and total of just below 300k in the worst possible scenarios. I'm gonna give this crap up, walk straight out into the Swedish woods and pick blueberries or some shit like that.

It's weird but I was playing cruisers for weeks, struggling to get a win. Even if I carried to the end, it was a close loss. Then I switched to DDs and MM seems to favor that. Wins with top 3 finishes, easy wins and carries.

Honestly, it's not surprising that WoWs retains such a terrible player base even at Tier 10. The game offers no help whatsoever for players to improve their skills or learn what to do and not to do. The map design is such that taking initiative and being aggressive often result in a quick, early death. The gap between making mistakes and suffering the consequences for them is often too large for uninformed players to understand what, exactly, they did wrong. And the reward system encourages selfish play, rather than team play.
My opinion;- players should visit pve some times for refresher courses...🤣

It wasn’t till I came across Jingles and found out most games are streamed to RUclips that I found out about angling armour and using concealment and the how to use AP properly. Now I just need a clan that actually talks and plays together... next level learning shit.
