A beautiful yacht with great high gloss woodwork. I love seeing these older yachts and seeing the evolution of design and layout. Well worth the price. Thanks for the tour Nick 😊
One of the most impressive Interiors I've ever seen, a leather dash? That's crazy! The layout is Practically Perfect and the curves are awesome. This is one beautiful piece of art.
Hasn’t aged a bit! Absolutely stunning levels of quality, it’s a shame boat manufacturers don’t pay as much quality to to wood working as they did back then, it looks beautiful. Amazing tour thanks Nick!
This might just be my favorite boat featured on the channel. Perfect example of not trying to do to much with a design but also remaining incredibly stunning
£1.2 million pound for this yacht is a steal, the materials, effort and craftsmanship is classic. When you open some of the cabinets in the 2022 yachts with a similar price tag they remind me of the units in our touring caravan and your camper van videos. And then the layout it just flows with the galley hidden away, that is my opinion I love this yacht. Thanks again for a wonderful video Nick
The woodwork is timeless & beautiful. Its reminiscent of the old Freeman river & costal cruisers from the '70's. The Italians do know how to build beautiful boats.
It’s so interesting to see the changes in design trends over the past two decades. This boat looks almost brand new, and I remember when the more organic/curved shapes, heavy use of dark gloss woods, and granite were in style and symbols of luxury. This will certainly look dated to a younger person as it heavily contrasts against the lighter/muted tones, large windows, and sharp shapes and angles that are most modern boats. Even the overall designs like larger swim platforms and beach club areas, and bow lounge areas. However, you can’t argue with the craftsmanship on boats like this.
Thanks Nick! It's definitely in great condition and has been well taken care of over the years. The price isn't bad either considering what 80 ft. yachts typically cost.
I'm with you Nick, that era has luxury homely feel with all the details in the woodwork, the layout, seating arrangements... all so different from what you get these days but I really love these older yachts
This is a VERY clean ship for her age. If I didn’t know better I would say this was actually built recently but to early 2000’s style just because the owner(s) could and liked that style. Another great tour.
Love how the galley and crew service area connects straight into the engine room just as it would be on a ship or commercial boat. Not a fan of many newer designs where the engine spaces are only accessed from the outside and are far from the crew areas. Your videos never fail to disappoint - keep them coming!

Definitely dated but I have to say it looks extremely cozy and warm with that decor, kind of really like it to be honest. Not as cold as the more modern boats with all the straight lines and sharp angles lol. Thank you Nick 🍻
What a wonderful cozy boat for the size Nick, I love this. I do absolutely enjoy the early 2000's designs you give us an opportunity to see. The newer boats are incredible but ones like this are spectacular. Thanks so much.
Wow that's a lot of luxury yacht at that price point, even though it's almost 20 years old the high quality of woodwork plus whatever retrofits they've done have aged this well and it doesn't look dated. Definitely will give anything newer a run for the money. Nice tour!

I wouldn't expect anything different really, but you get a sense of the degree of snobbery in this tax bracket that this yacht is going for a million dollars. Is it dated...yes. This era of yacht did not put an emphasis on space and light the way they do today. The huge galley bulkhead really sucks up floor space and light and curves are certainly not the most efficient use of the yacht's interior and exterior volume but....this is a fantastic yacht. The level of comfort and luxury has definitely not been compromised. Huge, beefy engines pushing this at near 30 MPH flat out? That's fantastic. I love the cockpit feel of the lower helm. The curved furniture give the occupants a sense of being enveloped by the ship...come over here, sit down and I'll give you a big hug with my overstuffed cushions and backrests. Today's boats are designed with an emphasis on bringing the outside into the interior. You are not being hugged and comforted, you're being pushed out on deck even when you're inside the main deck spaces. Straight lines, flat walls, huge windows...I suppose for some who can afford these toys, that's a very significant change and it makes this a fundamentally different feeling yacht. Not for me, even though my tax bracket is more in line with a 19' Boston Whaler! I think she is gorgeous and ridiculously low priced.

To keep a car 20 years, looking showroom fresh AND use it regularly requires a commitment of time and money. Not a casual car wash and a few services - no. It is a serious investment of resources, as you've demonstrated. And now you show us this HUGE yacht nearly 20 years on and it looks close to new. It is also obvious - from the engine room - that this took a consorted and consistent effort, by many people over time. This is not a re-make. This was an investment of love. This was a head to head competitor for the 2006 sunseeker 82 which is my favourite for 1 million with the same price in the same length in the same era but i still think the sunseeker is my favourite although this was not too far from becoming my favourite for the price

@@kaspar_1982 you can't expect it to come back sparkling clean but you can evaluate and providing there is nothing major fare enough. It's a lot of boat for the money. But I take the piont your making.
My favorite boats are from 2000-2010. I like real wood. Upgrade the electronics and reupholster the chairs and couches, and this boat would be great. Maybe upgrade to led lighting.
I love theses older bigger boats I think much better value for money, not that I will ever get a canoe 🤣🤣🤣 but if I did I'd rather get a bigger old boat and have it all done out! Thanks Nick as always, how's your first week under your new manger 😜😜😜❤️❤️❤️
Appreciate its a big 80ft but that stern arrangement is superb, especially the cover over the steps. Interior reminds me a bit of the 82ft Sunseeker you covered couple years ago, don't normally like gloss wood but this I would, Not keen on the gold/brass.
I love this channel and the Yachts are so neat. But this is one is just ghastly. The woodwork compromises space. It's a mistake to think it equals a luxurious space. Compared to other Yacths even from the same time period it makes the interior feels cramped and claustrophobic. While the idea of being out on a boat would be to enjoy the sea, you can't predict weather and you can't help but imagine feeling trapped in there during a rainy day. The criticism aside the tour is as always done in the most astounding professional manner with the excitement I find so infectious from this channel!
I absolutely agree with with you. About 2 years ago, Nick did a lovely tour of an old 2006 Sunseeker 82..it had exactly the same layout, same acres of wood etc. It was typical of all the yachts from that era. Luckily their new range of yachts have progressed to keep up with some very innovative, advanced, and very well styled interiors within a very competitive market. But like you said, still a lot of boat for the money. Complete refit me thinks.
For an 18yr old boat, she's still very stylish with plenty of space. Thanks for showing her to us Nick.

@@gbsailing9436 It will be some time over the next couple of months (we got a LOT of videos at the recent boat shows)
@@gbsailing9436 Sometime in the next month or two.
That boat is a bargain.
only if a thorough survey comes back sparkling clean. 😉
I have these flying over my head...
Hello from Ukraine:)
Hey there Ukraine! 🙂
Hello. Beautiful boat! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Oh, you know... 😄
@@AQUAHOLIC that's made me laugh so much, great fun, much ❤️ to you both
Excellent
Appreciate its a big 80ft but that stern arrangement is superb, especially the cover over the steps. Interior reminds me a bit of the 82ft Sunseeker you covered couple years ago, don't normally like gloss wood but this I would, Not keen on the gold/brass.
Beautiful boat love it
It's like a bottle of Wine.
The older, the better..
What a glorius woodwork..
Good Stuff!!
that's is a very lovely boat
