I just like how the Transformers transcended generations. Remember rushing home from school in the 80s to watch these. GI Joe fizzled out. Haven't been a new XMen movie in years. Even He-Man got lost in the mist. Cartoons such as Voltron, Thunder Cats put on a shelf with no modern comebacks. Using today's tech, and updating some of the cartoons of old would be something?

This series is in a universe where the war has ended, Optimus & Megatron stepped down from their respective positions. Optimus gave the matrix to Rodimus, who became one of Cybertron's three new High Council members.
Megatron called Optimus "dramatic", well the real one that is dramatic is Victorian......man she really needs Valium or decaf.... She is too much....way too much
I owned Metroplex, Trypticon, Menasaur, Computron, Devastator, Hotrod, Dinobots, Aerialbots, Combaticons, Omega Supreme, all of the cassette tapes, Reflector, the camera that I had to order through the mail, then I got married. Then divorced. She sold over 100 for $100 dollars. Never get married. I hate her.
Hot rod is definitely a punk ass because he didn’t want to carry the matrix of leadership, he never wanted the burden of being a leader so I can’t stand him!
One thing I did not like about this is when rodimus gave up The matrix why did his body go back to being hot rod when Optimus gave up the matrix before he died his body did not go back to Orion even though he was rebuilt I mean when you have been reformatted to accept the matrix you should be stuck like that because you are now a title holder of prime it's the same reason ultra Magnus was not able to unlock the matrix of leadership because he wasn't worthy of becoming a prime but oh no in this series for some reason rodimus becomes hot rod again just because he gives up the matrix know when you become a prime you are stuck with it I mean just because Optimus does not have it does not mean he is no longer a prime he is still Optimus prime and will always be that is one thing I never understood about this series, I mean even in the other series that this group did with the war for Cybertron trilogy with Nemesis prime even though Optimus was corrupted and being controlled by Unicron he never lost his prime status so by that logic hot rod should not have come back
Characters look fairly authentic to G1 but the movements, action of what the characters are doing, the music and Megatron's voice are not right. I really want to like this but it's a bit of a disappointment.

Outstanding in nearly every way. My only complaint, and it's minor, is that Megatron does not transform into a pistol like he should.

I get what ur saying but I think is bc Pax died, then was rebuilt to Prime. Not Pax got the Matrix, became Prime, then gave it up.
