- omni's night vision is crazy bright and the new pounce is probably amazing. unfortunately the server was very laggy and so it was hard to test properly. we explored the new port and it's a very nice place to be XD

The reason you were getting dismounted is because bucking now has a percentage chance to dismount the omini. Right now this chance is very high for testing purposes so that's why you're getting dismounted a lot.
thx ♥ oh, so there is only a chance? people told em already about bucking and I was like, what? buck = dismount? that's brutal. but, this way it seem very interesting. I'm happy bucking will make sense again. it was pretty useless recently anyway
@@da.mombie yeah one of the devs said on discord it is % chance. So they probably going to tweak that a bit in balance.

Does it work on pinning down? I think it's pretty stupid that dilo and teno will take insane amount of damage in close fight without fighting back
Bucking was already making sense, you were losing stamina like crazy thus you could get dismounted like that. Now devs made the biggest bs on the isle history making dismount by% while bucking.. Like it wasn't enough that your stamina gets low, like it wasn't enough that it drains even more stamina when you change positions one pouncing, now we get dismounted instantly, ever since this stupid update came up I didn't touch my favorite dino (raptor) because of the devs tardness. Sorry if I'm being salty but I only speak the truth, if it hurts, it hurts, I don't care like they didn't care about us by bringing this update to the official servers without even thinking about it.
VERY GOOD MOMBIE!!! it was truly a wonderful adventure and above all I have to thank you for making me discover that tacos that run away create a new lair after a while and that dilonora's hallucinations are more lethal!

The new bucking makes you dismount not fall down and lose stamina like before (btw I was the troodon at 10:10 you kinda scared me ngl)

yeah, we have to see tho how it will fit into migration zone. by now it's pretty far from the most zones. so, we will see how busy it will be after people are done with exploring

The dock and, quite frankly all the map changes are beautiful. 😍 I saw a video of another user playing Petra and the Arial view of the dock is stunning. Would love to see a Herrera climbing up on some of those hanging containers. There also is a neat enclosed pen area right on the dock that would be great for nesting as long as the hatchling don't need water. To the left @ 5:01 .

people told me herra can't climb steel (so cranes), but i still think it's an awesome place for it and I will try it for sure the new swamp extensions is also very beautiful and something should also be new at south. so many things to still explore nope, I am with you, I would also love to play taco
Well that sucks about the Herrera. So much wasted opportunity on that dock. 🫤That swamp is terrifying. I got jump scared just watching a player wade through the deep areas. 😬😅

Oh man the performance in HT is brutal, the freezes really mess things up. I kept dying to the freezes XD I lagged off cliffs and such lmao. I have to fix the FPS drops by logging out and then waiting for queue to get back in, so eventually I just said "eh f*** it, I play something else." 🤣good video as always! Not gonna say anything about the bucking I bet there is enough comments telling you why you got automatically dismounted.
thx and yeah, many people told me about the bucking change. stupid me missed that again. I really should read the change log more properly but, somehow I know me community will tell me anyway, so the performance is really brutal. but honestly, I am so happy about taco, I don't care much about anything else

Ok, when this comes out I might consider trying this out. Those pipes were insane, I always wanted caves in the Isle, and those pipes gave me that feeling. Also I will play Herra, since it can just climb anything, including PORT, that looked insane as well.
yeah, I love these tubes too. could be even much bigger in my opinion. I want a maze where you hardly find out again the port and herra are a fit for sure
I saw Dondi post on the Isle Discord that the Herrera's being changed to climb appropriate climbable surfaces and will not be able to climb metal surfaces.

They fix the bucking mechanism so now u can get thrown off I think it’s when ur switching and there bucking at the same time there’s a possibility to get knocked off

@@da.mombie but i think its better that way, because before that, punce was basicly a "win" button, two omnis can pin a cera witch is way to unbalanced. Also omnis cant just bleed their target out so easily. Instead they now have to work for a kill and not just pounce agaik and again and again

well, two omnis could only pin a cera below 20% stam, right? so, that wasn't unbalanced at all in my opinion. anyway tho, I like that bucking will make more sense. because by now it was pretty useless ^^

I used to camp the port as a solo Allo to hunt the Utahs back in legacy, maybe I start doing that again once Allo comes out

@@da.mombie Random spawns might help with that tbh. Since people are more likely to look for landmarks instead of sticking to spawn locations.

Nighttime isn't always that bright, moon brightness plays a big part so some nights are darker and you'll definitely notice the difference between dinos then
that's why I showed the moon in this scene. to show it isn't cloudy. yeah, specially the shadows are still dark at certain areas, but, in general I'm very happy with the new NV so far. underwater is still bad, but, they said they didn't work on that view by now as far as I know. so, there is still hope for deino & co too
one day you might return there and explore that port area as Herrera :D so many things to climb onto〜

@@da.mombie dismantle is to take something apart, separate into pieces. dismount means to get off of something, typically from riding an animal or vehicle. i love your vids, english mistakes and all, but this one is bothering me xD

I think this is just the "smaller" east port. as far as I remember there will be another, even bigger port. dunno for sure tho, my memories might trick me
when mombie dosnt know that they changed the bucking mechanic xD, they changed it so that there isnt any stam vs stam fights anymore, bucking makes you "fall" off, so nomore stam fights xD
oh people told me already, but not about the stam. so, doesn't it even drain stam anymore? so, as soon as bucks I fall off? this will be confusing at first
@@da.mombie basicly yeah, but you did see the bucking did take some few seconds to get you off, so you have small time to do some damage before they make you fall off, and yeah i dont think it drains stamina anymore but bucking does drain stam
@@Laura_milne100 thx ♥ people told me there is a percentage of a chance to get dropped by bucking. this factor is pretty high for testing now, but will probably change. will be interesting to see

thx ♥ these are patrol zones. they also offer food for herbs and are there to meet others beside the migration zone. probably also to find and meet with friends, since we got random spawns now.

I am also an HT „Enthusiast“ and this game goes better and better…. If ! they just fix that lags, freezes, stottering by day/night change. now we need just good performing and stable Servers. my Ryzen 7 5800X3D and RTX 4070 ti Aero is for more than this laggy party.
like you said, it is the horde test. I didn't expect anything else than lags, bugs and issues. specially at the start of it. I noticed that is only in certain areas. I had no problem on my way across many parts of the map, but, areas like the harbor are brutal. pretty much like the south plains were during the dibble horde test. I don't know why, but it seems like with every map change they get some new performance problems in these new areas. I hope they can fix it for the regular update at least

the night vision of each dino has a different level of brightness. as you saw at teh start, omni's NV is pretty bright already. but dilo and troodon have the most bright ones, so, I'm curious how it can be any brighter

Those are pretty cool. I hope something changes that causes us to go to these areas. So many parts of the map i seldom visit because nothing is there.
I do wish they would gix current bugs before adding so much. I'm so tired of logging because of the diet and stuck food bugs. Especially with queue being so long on all the servers.
I love those pipes. I would like to have a maze of them where you hardly find out again yeah, the food bug is annoying. I don't even log anymore. I just try to live with it still annoying. it also seems like the chat bug is back. the one where the chat doesn't go away until you open and close it without writing something

nope, you can just choose it where you also switch between legacy and evrima. right click on the isle in steam, then properties, betas and on this tab you can switch the branch to horde test

I think it will be great, but as you saw, I pretty much struggled. was it lag? a bug? or am I too stupid? why did I dismantle all the time? so dunno, can't say how strong it is by now
@@da.mombie you Just need make pounce dont hold the rmb anymore And now you have option what you chose rmb=enormous bleed dmg or lmb raw dmg. If you change the side of pounce you need make it again.. I tested it you deal 35 dmg per 1 second
@@SoW-CE doesn't sound THAT crazy. 10 seconds pounce for 350 damage vs how easily bucking dismounts you. we'll see how that turns out. anyway tho, I'm happy bucking makes sense again

the fps drops are disgusting :/ when will they properly made graphics processes for this game :/
it's alpha. so, let me give you an example. star citizen is the biggest alpha project in the entire history of gaming. more than 1.000 (THOUSAND!!!!) people are working on it. some of the best coder of the world are involved in that project. yet you get the same experience. lag, very low frames in between and bugs all over. one update makes the game better, the next a little worse again. alpha business as usual. but you expect a tiny team of about 10 people to do something not even 1.000 people can do better? they are devs, no wizards
@@da.mombie stop comparing game as starcitizen that got size 10000 bigger then isle, they dont need 1k ppl to work on it cause in reality its 200 workers and they confirmed that, your 1k ppl working at SC studio is a myth mady by some dillusional lunatics and shared across forum and youtube and ppl like u that we arleady see share this myth which is pretty funny ;) but if u already did that, yes SC devs are wizards cause they are able to make such a huge game and constantly update it, optimalisation in SC is pretty solid but u need solid RIG for that not some 3060 ti cooking pot and then complain about low fps and lag, same goes ford DCS and many other bigger game then the isle, RIG is the basic tool u need for solid fps and isle is missing all that even on my 3080 ti i got fps drops, no matter if its HT or regular version that i do play from time to time, game is trash and after 9 years they should already make a bit of a polish for it ;)

by the way, I have the 3080, too. combined with a ryzen 9 5900X. so what are you talking about RIG? even with the 4090 your FPS drop down to a few as soon as you start a quantum jump and in some other moments
edit: evrima is in development for 5 years now. you really should get your facts straight and not cherry pick (combining evrima with legacy) to make an argument.
