Jennifer-I had a similar thing happen to me at 35 weeks. I was admitted, hooked up to IV's, ready to deliver, and when they came for the final check before they administer the epidural my contractions completely stopped. They sent me home, expecting me to be back any minute, but that baby stayed put for THREE more weeks! It was almost almost anti-climactic once the baby arrived, but when you have your daughter in your arms, the whole pregnancy won't matter! Rest up as much as you can, because your whole world is going to change and it's going to be WONDERFUL!!
I think it's great that you did your research and are doing everything you can have a natural birth! So many people just have a csection without even trying.
No need for apologies Jen. Keep doing what is best for your family. I'm sure your subscribers totally understand. You are so sweet to share your life with us like you do. Prayers for you, Don, and precious baby girl!
The best advice I received as an expecting mommy...have a plan A, B, C, and D! You just never know what is going to happen when Little Miss decides to come. Reduce your stress and be flexible. When she is here and in your arms, "how" she got here will not matter. Hang in there! You got this!
Hey Jen, I am a Labor and Delivery nurse. I suggest that you keep drinking lots of water and take a warm bath every night. It will sometimes help to force fluid from your system into your uterus. It is called hydrotherapy and we use it on people who are earlier in their pregnancy with low amniotic fluid to help increase it. Having a good amount of fluid is your best chance of the version working. Good luck! Shannon
Praying for you and your sweet baby girl! You and Don will be amazing parents.... you can tell that little girl is already loved so much. Blessings to you!
I totally understand about the "shock" feeling. My first baby ended up being born C-section after 20 plus hours of labor and hours of pushing. I just never gave C-section a thought but it was the best thing for baby and me. I understand that dazed feeling. It sounds like you are going to have an eventful week. Praying for you and the family, just take it easy until she's here. We can't wait to hear the good news.
You, Don and baby girl are in our thoughts and prayers. We are so exicted that baby girl is soon to arrive. Take care and lots of love, you two are going to be the best parents ever!!!!!!!!
Wishing you a safe and healthy delivery Jen. What's important is that the baby is doing well. Very soon you will be holding your angel in your arms and all the worries will be forgotten.
I am keeping you, Don, Baby Girl and your medical team in my thoughts and prayers! Sending love and good health your way! I am so happy for you and Don :)
What a journey you've had the past couple of weeks. I admire how well thought-out every decision or issue is for you. At the end of the day you can clearly feel confident that you've done everything you can in the best interest of you and baby girl. I was born breech (vaginally)....butt-first 51 years ago...before they had ultrasounds and were unaware of my positioning. My poor, 21-year old mother went through excruciating pain. Unbeknownst to them, when the doctor pulled me out, they dislocated my hip. It wasn't until my 6-week check up they discovered my dislocated hip and at that point I had to wear a cast for 6 months. It also explained why I cried uncontrollably for the first 6 weeks every time they touched me. So thankful for the advances, knowledge and technology we have today to avoid situations like these. Sending you and Don my prayers, thoughts and most heartfelt wishes. Good luck this week! I'll keep everything crossed! xoxo
I went into labor naturally and had to have an emergency c-section. It was actually a wonderful experience. I was well taken care of afterwards which gave me extra snuggle time with my baby girl and we bonded wonderfully. I felt great within a week and completely healed within 3 weeks. It's not what I would've picked for myself either but just wanted to share my positive experience in case you have to go with a csection. Can't wait to see that beautiful girl!
You are so sweet and caring of your you-tube family. You don't have to apologize, we all understand. My daughter was a 40.5 week breech and it was an amazing bonding experience for me, my husband and our daughter during the c-section. Once she is born and you look into her beautiful eyes, all else will fade away. I wish you and Don and your family much love and happiness. Can't wait for the baby girl has arrived announcement.
Wishing you all the best this upcoming week Jen! Pregnancy complications are so hard and cause so much stress and heartache. Stay positive, you are doing all the best things for your baby girl. I had amniotic fluids levels with my first as well, plus my little girl developed an arrhythmia and we ended up with an emergency c-section under general anesthesia. Everything turned out well for us, even though delivery was definitely not ideal. I'm currently 37 weeks with my third and have enjoyed having you as a pregnancy buddy throughout this journey. Sending lots of thoughts your way this week! ❤️
You poor thing. What a week! My prayers are still going up for you and this precious baby. Blessings for a happy, healthy baby and as smooth of a process and delivery as you can get!
I was on the edge of my seat throughout this video! Can only imagine your past week's roller coaster! Praying for you and your family and so excited to meet baby girl!
I know exactly what you're going through. My baby was in the same position as yours and when I flipped to week 36 I found out my amniotic liquid level was low... My doctor decided to schedule a c-section for week 37. We were all shocked, but I also had everything ready for my baby to come. Everything was fine, my baby girl was born healthy and super cute (despite being so little). She was born on October 07 and she's almost 3 months old now. Watching your video made me remember everything... you'll see it all becomes better once you have her in your arms. I'm sure you'll be okay, happy and celebrating life with your girl soon... I'll keep you in my prayers.
Best wishes Jen! Wow what a whirlwind it's been. I'm glad the baby is healthy and this is a whole new calm version of you. This pregnancy has been great for you. Can't wait for your journey as a parent!
Hello Ross Family! Thanks for keeping your viewers updated. My family and I will continue to keep you and Don in our prayers as you wait for the arrival of your precious baby girl. I trust and Know that God will take care of you and your baby, you have a Lot of prayers going up to the Heavenly Father and He hears them. God Bless you and looking forward to your updates. Get lots of rest.
Hi Jen! We also found out that our baby girl was breeched at 36 weeks. Likewise, I was told an ECV would be needed to try and turn her at 37 weeks if she did not flip. I basically committed myself to a breech tilt position and performed forward facing inversions for over a week and much to everyone's surprise, she actually turned. I delivered her naturally at 38.5 weeks. I am hopeful that this too will happen for you but to leave you with some words of encouragement, regardless of whether you have a vaginal delivery or a c-section, how she arrives will no longer matter once you see her face and hold her for the first time. You'll be so in love and over the moon with happiness. It's a huge feeling that just makes any discomforts/disappointments disappear. Best wishes and enjoy these last few days and/or weeks of your pregnancy.
Question for Q&A: 1. How long have you been wanting to start a family? 2. Do you plan on having many children (if you are so lucky)? 3. You have been open about fertility issues. If so where, and your where not able to have another baby. Would you consider adoption? 4. Are you ready for less sleep than ever before? :D
You are so wonderful to keep us in the know! What a week you have had! My grandson was in the frank breach position with his feet by his ears. He was born by C section and for awhile his feet were still up in the air! It was so cute! I have been so invested in your journey and you are so kind to keep us informed! I hope everything goes well for all of you! A healthy baby is what is most important!
My younger sister had our niece vaginally and our nephew via C-section. Her overall recovery was faster with the C-section and she said the pain didn't extend as long as it did with the vaginal birth. She was very happy with her C-section because of the ease and fast recovery. I couldn't even tell that she had the baby via C-section, she pointed out her "scar" to me but it was so faint that even I had a hard time seeing it even with her pointing it out to me. She was also able to do skin to skin right after and they were also allowed to play music in the room during and after the surgergy. She said it was the little things that really made her experience so positive.
Jen, you and Don are very strong people and your baby girl will be healthy no matter how you deliver. Keep your spirits high and enjoy every moment. I will keep you, Don and baby girl in my prayers.
I feel so silly I'm welling up watching this video over here in the UK I am just sooo so so happy for you both. You have influenced my life in so many positive ways I will be forever thankful for your videos and your kindness. Good luck Jen and Don X X X
Don't worry Jen, she will be all good. 25 years ago I gave birth naturally to a breech bub. On my clinic visit on the Thursday she was in the right position for a normal delivery, over the weekend I wasn't feeling well and spent the weekend in bed, on Tuesday I was fine, my waters broke, raced to hospital and that's when it was found she had turned to breech position. There was no waiting as she was on her way and was delivered successfully naturally breech. Looking forward to meeting your baby girl and your family journey. Best of luck.
Jen I have watched and enjoyed every step of your pregnancy journey, and although 32 years ago, I remember how it feels to hear that everything isn't just right during pregnancy, no matter how big or small. All pregnancies are special, but I know from your fertility video, that baby girl means the absolute world to you and Don, so I can only imagine how you must have been feeling trying to process all that information. Safe in the knowledge that you have done everything right, and everything you can possibly do, now is the time to trust in God and your medical team. Please be assured of my prayers and best wishes. Love as always, Karen x
So glad to hear everything worked out with the low fluid. My amniotic fluid dropped during my pregnancy as well, but I was able to get back to a normal range by increasing my water intake. Thanks for keeping us posted and I'm sending positive vibes that baby girl flips from the breech position!
My almost a Christmas baby was born early but there is something so special about having a baby around the holidays! This video really brought me back 3 years ago when my ob told me he wanted to induce me the day before Christmas Eve and I was so nervous of the pain this procedure and labor would bring, however that night I went into labor on my own! Pain was not so fun until after epidural at which time I joked with everybody in delivery that this is so easy I could have a tea party in here! Fast forward 3 years had a beautiful holiday but woke up and was not feeling well so was resting in bed when I hear a rumbling tea cart making it's way towards me and my daughter saying mommy I have some tea and cupcakes to make you feel better! Santa had brought her an adorable Minnie Mouse tea cart! She really made me smile!! You and baby girl will be a good team! Preying that everything can go as smoothly as possible for you!!!
I hope everything works out the way you'd like, but more than anything I hope both mom and baby are happy and healthy when they meet! I had complications with both my pregnancies and it all melted away when I finally had them in my arms! Wishing you all the best!
Oh my!! I'm going to keep you in my prayers! I hope she turns...my fluid was low at a point in my pregnancy and also returned to normal. Please keep us updated...we will all be thinking of you all week.
Jennifer and Don - Best wishes on your baby bundle of joy delivery! Prayers for an easy delivery for you but enjoy and cherish it all - as a precious journey for the best and most joyous present your guys will ever receive 💞😘🙏
Jenn you are so super sweet and thoughtful for keeping us all up to date. You will be in my prayers this week. Sending lots of love your way! xoxo Bonnie
Good luck with everything! I've had two c-sections, one emergency and one scheduled. It's ok, and you will do great, regardless of how you deliver. However, you get a healthy baby is what counts! I'll be thinking of you and Don and sweet baby girl. ❤️
wow jen, bravo on everything you are doing for baby girl. What a story to tell her some day. I strongly believe in the power of prayer and glad you shared this with us. I know many of us will be praying and others sending postive thoughts to you, Don, and baby girl. Please keep us posted. I'm sure everything will be fine since you will be in good hands at the hospital. Big Hugs to you all!!!
Wow! I've been subscribed for a while, but I have only been watching recommended videos for like a year. I can't believe I missed that you're pregnant! Woo-hoo! Congrats! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 I bet you'll have a beautiful baby with awesome keepsake journals/scrapbooks :)
I learned my first son was breach at 36 weeks as well. I did all the exercises and ironing board trick but to no avail. The doctor tried to flip the baby at the hospital and it was very invasive and painful- I would never recommend it to anyone. He arrived C Section and was perfect. I held him immediately and breast fed him within an hour. I was going to have a VBAC with my second son and labored for 17 hours and had the C Section in the end. Both boys are perfect and although I wanted to deliver naturally it wasn't in the cards for me. Good luck and pray for a healthy baby!
I've been watching your new videos and recently went through and started watching your earlier ones. I am inspired by your organization and cleaning tips and all the cool things you share. Thank you so much. Wishing you a healthy labor and the best of luck with the baby. I can tell you will be a great mom.
Oh honey!! What. Week you have had and you still sat down to give us an update!!! Praying for you and Don and baby. I hope everything goes well. Hugs sweetheart!!!
What an emotional week! You are close to the moment now...I hope all goes well with your procedure. If do you end with a c-section and have to give up the dream of the immediate physical connection with your baby, rest assured that even in operating room the bonding experience is powerful.
There is still a huge chance that she will flip own her own before the due date. I was scheduled to have my son flipped 3 days before the due date. I went to the hospital for the procedure and he was already head down. I had no idea that he had flipped on his own because I did not feel it and he was born 2 days later. I ended up having a C-section, but for other reasons. I was scared and a nervous wreck, but it was not bad and the recovery was pretty fast. I have followed you for 3 plus years and I am so happy for you. You will be a great Mom. Can't wait to see your precious baby girl. Best of luck to you.
Jen I'm so sorry that you're going through all this....it will all be worth it when the little princess is here! All the best with the birth and I hope all goes well. Try not to stress too much! X
Best of luck, Jen. My friend's mother was in a similar situation as you are currently (her second & third child were both breach babies!) and she still delivered two healthy babies. Sending you so much love and well wishes
I hope you are not offended by this. We will be praying for you and your family that all goes well and according to plan. I can hardly wait to hear about your first impressions of your beautiful and healthy baby girl.
I've been thinking of you and praying for you since you found out you were expecting, I'll be here praying for you and your little one for a healthy delivery as well! So excited to finally meet her! :)
Oh wow Jennifer! You have had so much thrown at you so fast in such a short amount of time. All I can say is "Bless You and Don". You are one strong woman! Praying for the continued good health of you and your baby girl! I was worried when I didn't see your pregnancy update. Glad to see your smiling face :-)
I forgot to mention too - when I was pg with my son, he was breech at 38 weeks. I went in for an external version, and at the hospital when they did the ultrasound before they started they discovered that he had turned on his own. Then 2 days later at my appointment, guess what - breech again. Went back to the hospital for an external version again - and guess what - head down again. After that he did stay head down (but was not born until 42 weeks).
Jen - What a week you have had!!! I wanted to tell you something....Your baby will have the perfect delivery for your baby. it will be like none other - and it will be WONDERFUL!! So many young women go into pregnancy deciding how they would like to deliver; a natural delivery, a home delivery, a medication-free delivery, a water birth, a birthing chair....and then the baby decides what is right after all. Don't let anyone tell you that "this or that" would be the better way - the more natural way, the "preferred way"...because in the end what matters is that healthy baby in your arms. As my OB once told me, "no-one will be standing in the hall handing out medals only to the women who had non-complicated vaginal births. After the baby is born, no-one will even know which was born in whatever sort of way." (Remember the old saying: "[Wo]man makes plans-God laughs". Blessings on you and Baby Girl. Any way will be the PERFECT way. Signed, McKenna - the mom of 2 perfectly-made, c-section babies
Bless your heart! What a wonderful mommy you are....baby girl will be so happy to finally meet you and her daddy. You are handling all this very well....good for you! Prayers continue and gentle hugs coming your way. You are almost at the finish line and soon you will be holding that previous baby and all this concern will just be a memory. I think we all are almost as excited as you and Don...lol. Take care...Patty
Hey! Just wanna quickly say... My baby was frank breach as well.. I had to have a c-section. Too be honest I loved it! It was so nice knowing the exact day you were giving birth and the recovery was not as bad as I thought. My baby came out with his legs way up in the air which made the diaper changes super easy lol Anyway just wanna let you know don't be afraid of you have to have a c-section! I loved mine and it was not as bad as you think. Good luck with everything.. Sending all my love xoxoxox
Wish you good luck dear Jen. My forth baby was breach too, but he kept switching positions from breach to head down till the due date. Each time we went to do the e-version we would find him back to head down. It was frustrating, but at the very last hour he decided to stay head down and I delivered vaginally with no complications. Don't worry and relax, enjoy these last weeks of pregnancy. Xoxo
Wow! You have been quite the busy lady! :-) Glad everything is well. Thank you for sharing your update with us! Wishing you lots of good rest over the next few days. I admit I look forward to seeing your updates, but goodness knows I don't blame you for feeling unable to do them as much. Hoping to hear good news soon!
I was a breech birth 51 years ago and 29 years after that my son was a C-section. All will turn out for the best you'll see and congratulations on Charlotte's birth too!!!
I pray that you get the birth experience that you want! So glad to hear that baby girl is perfectly healthy. You and Don are in my thoughts over these next few days. Fingers crossed that she can flip on her own before your appointment!
Keep going with the spinning babies and Chiro. My last baby was breech and transverse quite late and those things were what worked for me. But being consistent is so important.
I had a c section with my first Oct 2015 and I was terrified and was devastated I couldn't have a vaginal birth but honestly it was a wonderful experience. It took me a while to be okay with it but by the time the day came it was lovely knowing my baby would be here within the hour.
Praying for you and baby. Hope it all goes as planned. Glad your keeping us posted. We as followers and admirers want to make sure your well. Take care dear! :)
I pray for an easy delivery for you Jen your baby is very lucky to have such wonderful parents like you and Don I love the beautiful relationship and love that you and Don have
Jen, I'm not sure if you'll read this comment, but I've had babies both ways. The first a C-section, & the second a vaginal delivery. I'm one of the rare people but if I had another one I would rather have a C-section. But bottom line is to deliver that precious baby girl safe & sound & baby & mother all okay. I'm praying for you, baby girl, & Don. Blessings for an exciting yet emotional week ahead.

Glad you are alright and deep breaths ! I hope everything goes smoothly when baby girl decides to show her gorgeous little face.
Mommys!..we are amazing with everything we do in love and sacrifice for our babies. It's all worth it Jen...Bless you and your little one!
Jenn you are so super sweet and thoughtful for keeping us all up to date. You will be in my prayers this week. Sending lots of love your way! xoxo Bonnie
I had two c-sections and I love my kids more than anything. good luck, Jen. will keep you in my prayers
Will be keeping you all in prayer this week. So glad both you & baby are healthy!!
My prayers are with you, baby girl and Don! Praying for safe delivery!
I will be praying for you, Don and your sweet baby girl!
Sounds like you had an eventful week. My prayers are with you and your family for a safe and healthy delivery.
Glad you and baby girl are okay! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers! Thank you for keeping us updated :) all the best wishes to you!!
Oh honey!! What. Week you have had and you still sat down to give us an update!!! Praying for you and Don and baby. I hope everything goes well. Hugs sweetheart!!!
Keeping you all in prayer! Praying she turns!.
My girls & I are praying baby turns easily! Don & you will handle this beautifully & a healthy baby girl will be in your arms soon💗
aww Jen that's a lot to process. It sounds like you and baby girl are in good hands. Praying for the best possible outcome, healthy mom and baby!
You've had a busy week! Thankful all is well with baby. I will be praying all continues to go well. Sending lots of positive vibes!
I will be thinking of you! Thanks for sharing with us, it's so wonderful watching you become a mama!
Good luck Jen & Don, the important thing is she arrives safely whichever way she enters the big wide world. Will be thinking of you.
My baby came out with his legs way up in the air which made the diaper changes super easy lol
Anyway just wanna let you know don't be afraid of you have to have a c-section! I loved mine and it was not as bad as you think. Good luck with everything.. Sending all my love xoxoxox
You are taking all this amazingly well. Praying for an easy delivery. Good luck on your next visit and looking forward to the next update.
Our family is sending you love & prayers.
Just saw Charlotte's picture on Instagram. She is adorable and precious. Congrats to Don and you for bringing such a blessing into this world.
I'm praying for you and your family. You can do it Jen! Do what's best for baby. God will deliver you.
Take care of yourself and baby girl! Sending LOVE to you all along with prayers and blessings! XO
Congratulations on the birth of Charlotte, look forward to meeting her in a video soon! xxx
Positive thoughts sent your way. 💐
I pray for an easy delivery for you Jen your baby is very lucky to have such wonderful parents like you and Don I love the beautiful relationship and love that you and Don have
Jen, I am sure you will have a happy, healthy baby girl, no matter how you deliver. Sending a big hug your way!!!
Q&a question- what types of pain management are you planning on using? Which types did you feel suited you best that you learned about in the classes?
Prayers for you and baby girl and for a smooth and healthy delivery.
Praying for you and wishing the best in your delivery!
