When I listen to this soundtrack I imagine that Queen Lamanda is kissing Lord Morglin Ironfist (both are from HoM&M I). And after their marriage knights and sorceress of Enroth unite. I think that is the reason why there are those lyrics.

Perhaps that explains why the Druids & Greater Druids converts and join Castle's ranks as Monks & Zealots.

@@rashidisw The Druids are not the same as the Monks.
      You get that wrong.
The Druids while human, have their Shamanistic or nature revering philosophies.
      Totally unlike the Monks.
A Druid and a Monk are not too similar apart from their zealous loner nature and their hoods.
But the Erathian Monks & Zealots are basically just Christian monks in the Homm world with magical powers.
What happened to the Druids, you should know this, they became heroes for the Rampart faction, they were replaced by the Pegasi and then reappeared in Homm 5.

@@Erikcleric "Druids Totally unlike the Monks"
That only true if Druids haven't undergoes religious conversion.
Druid creatures of Homm 2 =/= Druid heroes of Homm 3.
Is Homm5 are even in the same universe of Homm 1,2&3 or perhaps 4?

"Herr du bist, du bist wertig, zu nehmen Preis, und Ehre".
      "Preis und Ehre, und Kraft,
      Preis und Ehre, und Kraft."
      "Preis und Ehre, und Kraft."
"Lord, You are worthy to receive glory, and honor, and power..."
All the Homm2 PoL lyrics are direct quotations from the Lutheran German Bible. Sadly, I think some of the singer's German pronunciation is a bit suspect. I used to think she was singing in English, "Peace to they who come". Boy, was I wrong. :)
She pronounces "Preis" sounding like "Preece", when it should be pronounced like "Price".
Also, if any native German ever reads this post, why is the word for "glory" in Lutheran German the same as the word for "price", or "cost"? I think it can also mean "prize" or "award" in some contexts, right?

@@belgarathmth Preis means praise, not glory. It is pronounced as price (not preece), but does not mean the same.
Ehre means glory, on the other hand.
      And Kraft means power.
"Lord thou art, thou art worthy, of receiving praise and glory."
"Praise and glory, and power, praise and glory, and power."

@@henrikljungstrand2036 The first online German-English dictionary I can find gives "preisen" as a verb for "to praise", but "das Lob" for the noun "praise". It also gives "der Preis" to mean "price". Thus the confusion. Also, with the Lutheran bible, we are dealing with archaic word meanings, so I am wondering if that comes into play here. If contemporary German is still using the same word "Preis" to mean both "price" and "praise", is it a matter of context to know which word is meant? I found a second dictionary that lists "Preis" as a synonym for "Lob", but also lists the same word to mean "price".

@@henrikljungstrand2036 Btw, in English, "praise" and "glory" are synonyms. "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power..." is the direct quote of Revelation 4:11 from the King James English bible.

@@belgarathmth Mmm okay i would rather equate honour and glory. I just directly translated from German to English. I may take your word for the particulat wording in King James' Bible.
In Swedish it is "pris och ära och makt" in the 1917 official translation of the Swedish Bible, Revelation 4:11.

Jeez, PC games had such beautiful graphics back then. HoMM3 was a small step down from that and 4 was simply disgusting.

HoMM3 small step down ? Well .. as much as I like HoMM2, I must say that HoMM3 is THE pinacle of all HoMM series - in both graphics and gameplay.
