I like these predicitions. I feel like Georgia is more likely to qualify over Ireland and Latvia because in 2023, the odds predicted it would qualify. Latvia would be the least likely to qualify of the three I think because Ireland would probably send more entries like Doomsday Blue. I’d like to see Ailsha compete next year of sometime this decade since her song combined Irish and English. If she was chosen for this year, it would’ve been the first entry in Irish in 53 years. I’d like to say there would be 37-39 entries this year. I think the Netherlands won’t return, and Romania and Bulgaria might return too. Israel will most likely stay, but I think they’ll get kicked out because of all the drama last year that need to be resolved. I think a country that never won will win, specifically Armenia or Lithuania. I really like seeing countries who never won actually win. Anyway those are my predictions
i mean, it’s way too early so if i was forced to bet on a country to win i would go safe with ukraine😂, they are clearly the best at the contest. i also have the feeling that one of the big 5 could win and the more likely are Italy, France and Spain. other countries: i could see armenia, lithuania, portugal, serbia and finland winning. out of these, serbia is probably the one im the most convinced of since they keep sending quality. for qualifying id say they will give montenegro a good running order spot in the semi to qualify like they did with luxembourg this year, iceland will break the NQ streak, while denmark will send another pop song and keeping the biggest NQ streak. i think we will get a great hosting from switzerland.
For me, 39 countries would participate, which is all the countries from ESC2024 + Bulgaria + Montenegro + North Macedonia + Romania but without Israel and Netherlands, the former of which would eventually be exposed and excluded, despite original plans to participate. Montenegro, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Romania, Georgia, Latvia and Ireland would all qualify, while Sweden and Ukraine NQs. The jury winner is Germany, the televote winner is Czechia and the overall winner is Spain. There would be some unexpected incident that would raise the grand finalist count from 26 to 27.

Unfortunately I think Netherlands will participate (I want them to withdraw because of what happened with Joost, the EBU deserves consequences) and North Macedonia already confirmed they won’t😭 Because I want Netherlands to withdraw I was hoping for North Macedonia to replace them But I still trust in Romania and Bulgaria, maybe!
I hope this ESC will be more peaceful with the focus on music
