Thank you so much! Very helpful and good info. Especially regarding hair styles since I have like zero creativity and I mostly keep it in an Afro with a headband.
Great tips! I would also say to be patient. . .it will grow. Also, take lots of pics. Depending on the tightness of your curls, it may look like your hair isn't growing, but you can refer back to your pics for growth confirmation.
Another tip for short hair is to avoid the need to comb your hair out everyday. Once your short hair is cleansed and well moisturized you can usually go from 2-4days without a comb. You can fluff with your hands or fingertips. Add moisture again when necessary. Remember to wear your satin bonnet:-)
I've watched this video over n over in preparation for this stage and now am here 😀💃💃 in so excited, did my big chop few days ago. Thanks for the tips 😀
Great information! Beautiful pictures of your short hair styles. You covered some excellent tips for twa hair care and styles. I guess my only tip, would be.... have patience for growing long hair.
Thank you for the share on great information being in the heat i use also a head tie, and have a satin or silk scarf under it which is also great,,smiles....
First I’d like to say I enjoy and am learning so much from your videos. I just discovered your channel yesterday . My question to you is how or what products would you suggest for fine, short, and porous, hair . My hair is very soft and is easily weighed down by Heavy products. I also have experienced hair loss on the crown of my head, but still have enough hair to cover the bald spots . Please help me.
Thanks for finding us. You can also find us on Facebook and Instagram by searching for DiscoveringNatural. In addition, we also have a Facebook group called “DiscoveringNatural Group “ where you can get more support and even show pictures. Click here to join👉🏽 bit.ly/DiscoveringNaturalGroup For your hair, try using a liquid leave in conditioner after washing your hair. Here is one - amzn.to/2CGdcVg - you can use different oils but just a little bit since they weigh down the hair. A light moisturizer can then be used last. Obia Naturals makes some good light ones bit.ly/Obia_Naturals For crown breakage ruclips.net/video/XMtpZt-S6cE/видео.html
Random question: does Leave-In condition count as a cream or a liquid? I use aloe juice and water as a liquid, then leave in, then oil, and then a cream.
hello I really enjoyed watching your videos it's very informative. I have a question I have low porosity hair and my hair stays dry but I wash and I condition and deep condition at least every week I tried to also I was just wondering what is a good deep conditioner I can use?
I have tried SO MANY products. For me, Eco Style Gel Argan works best. If you want to see the other products I have tried and what I think about them, here is the playlist: ruclips.net/video/LCI_dGl3ySI/видео.html&index=1&list=PLCT7rEmj0Xkyarp5uy6bnWsOal6yvXtS-
Just stumbled on your videos, very informative.love your videos.but as a Nigerian. I'm growing my natural hair and plaiting it with rubber thread.i dont have thick hair and i find out my hair breaks how do i moisturize my hair even when its plaited with rubber thread
+Uche Obiorah When I thread my hair for a style,I leave gaps. I spray the hair with a moisturizing spray and squeeze in the gaps. I will do a video to show you
do u think that the black castor oil Shea moisture line is good for low porosity hair I having a hard time now because the weather is cold now please help
I know of a few people that use it. I would think it is good because, for one, the shampoo is a clarifying shampoo...and a lot of time, when you use a clarifying shampoo, it allows products to penetrate better. Here are some more information that can help you in your product choice. discoveringnatural.blogspot.com/2016/11/struggling-with-high-and-low-porosity.html
+Doletha Roberson All I do is I moisturize my hair using the LOC, spray my water or diy aloe leave in and apply my oil if I use water and then a moisturizer crram
Well I emailed you before and you never responded so I thought it wasn't accurate. All I wanted to say is Skai Jackson is having a meet and greet tomorrow in Houston and I thought you and the girls would love to meet her. Remain Blessed.
+DiscoveringNatural I used the same email you gave to me I emailed you about a couple days ago and I never got a response. Maybe you we're busy but it's okay.
Thanks so much for the information. I just want to know if I can use hair texturizing cream on my natural hair? Is it actually different from relaxing cream?
You are welcome. Texturizer is a mild form of relaxing cream. Have you seen Big Sis's hair story about her experience with texturizer.. here it is: ruclips.net/video/MdX4L5TM2mo/видео.html
deep conditioning is so vital. I am so glad you mentioned that
Yes it is.. Many people neglect that process.

That is a great tip. Often we over-manipulate our hair unnecessarily.

Hi, please should the green house/baggy method be used everyday?
You don’t want to do it daily because you do not want to get moisture overload. Learn more about that here 👉🏽 ruclips.net/video/UsE4EXlnKac/видео.html
