This level of intensity, vocal weight and distortion definitely shortens your vocal lifespan, unless you're some sort of genetic freak like Ronnie James Dio or Steven Tyler. Both seem to have been born with cast iron vocal cords, performing 40 year old songs in their original key well into old age, despite less than healthy lifestyles.
These covers with Mlny are what finally got me to check out Royal Thunder, I now own all their albums. But damn I'd love to hear her front an entire project where she would do predominantly shredding screams and heavy vocals! She has a MASSIVE voice. Would pay a week's wages to hear her and Julie Christmas do an original collaboration.
I like this sound way more than anything royal thunder has put out. Is Mlny in any other bands with a heavier sound? Also this Mlny/mutoid man crossover needs to happen
