This is like fever dream you have while trying to sweat out a flu while on spring break and your room is directly above the hotel bar that has a DJ in his mid-30s with dreadlocks. I mean that in the absolute nicest way possible.
There's really no reason it shouldn't. It says a lot actually about how seriously they take themselves (IE: they aren't taking themselves seriously, having not nom-nom-nominated this)
Alice Deejay - Better Off Alone (0.00) Bryan Adams - Heaven (1.05) Corona’s - The Rhythm of the Night (1.28) The Vengaboys - We Like To Party (1.50) Gigi D’Agostino - L’amour toujours (2.21) Eiffel 65 - Blue (2.38) Haddaway - What Is Love (3.15) Black Box - Everybody Everybody (3.50) Darude - Sandstorm (4.31)
This was tight a heck. I almost went and jumped up and down on my own couch. I have said it before. But whoever mixes this is VERY VERY good at their job.
I have never thought the blending of two of my favorite genres, metal and 90s dance music, would create such a glorious trip of majestic mystical musical mayhem and whimsy!
Spider is such a good sport. He listened to these guys completely shit all over his music, came on to their podcast and was nothing but civil and then ultimately collaborated with them on this absolute gem. Good on 'em.
This is further proof that METAL is the SUPERIOR musical genre,it turned all those classics 1 hit wonders into something AWESOME,and SANDSTORM was the damn CHERRY ON TOP,THAT WAS FCKN EPIC!
I was pleased to see Spider 1 in here. You went from dogging on him, to having him on your podcast to rip on your band, to collaboration. Things have really turned around.
Ah, Jordan/Gwarsenio is only human. I love PM5K just for going all-in on their shtick and having a bit more flair and swing than the rest of the 90's nu-metal crowd. In all honesty, I'm pretty sure Jordan said that he was tired of being negative all the time anyway, which is why the podcast changed formats.

This has opened the floodgates for a lot of different feelings at once, and I’m not sure how to process it all. Thank you for this, you beautiful maniacs.
This took me back... god the glow sticks and E roller parties... for a metal head, that was about as close to pop as I got. All it took was mood altering drugs!
I also started this video after eating some mushrooms. After 4 hours on repeat, I got hungry and ate more mushrooms. Why can’t I stop listening to this? I don’t think I even like any of these songs back when they came out? Is it the mushrooms?
That wall at 3:55 looked very scary. WHile it may look like everything is okay, it could cause a hidden fracture that would become a major problems years down the line. I hope the couch is okay!
I was introduced to @2 Minutes to Late Night by a friend less than a year ago for obvious reasons: music tastes and stage makeup similarities. I just want to say you guys are the coolest!!! So cool! I love you guys!
I turn 35 tomorrow. This is probably the best birthday present I couldve asked for. Ringing in my middle age with a nostalgia bomb like this. All my 90's brothers and sisters represent!
Y'know what, even though this video is pretty great, the best thing in this video is Boots vibing with his dog. You can take your "Blue" and "Rhythm of the Night", give me Boots just interacting with the dog in a greenscreen suit.
worked as a dishwasher in a club during much of this era and so this medley makes my hands get all pruny and activates my "oh shit are all the freaky sharp institutional kitchen knives buried underneath this drift of shit the busser just dumped on me?" wariness.
This tickles every brain crevice and makes me cry everytime I watch it
This is like fever dream you have while trying to sweat out a flu while on spring break and your room is directly above the hotel bar that has a DJ in his mid-30s with dreadlocks. I mean that in the absolute nicest way possible.
This should be top comment
i love how this is so hyperspecific but for some reason i can absolutely see myself in that situation
This comment just made me spit coffee on to my keyboard at work. Well done!
I was going to like this comment but... I can't alter the total. It's too.... Nicccceee
Is 209 that specific to you?
This should win the Academy Award for best short film.
There's really no reason it shouldn't. It says a lot actually about how seriously they take themselves (IE: they aren't taking themselves seriously, having not nom-nom-nominated this)
I'm going to need to see Alexis cover Steal My Sunshine in some kind of 90s summer hits remix.
I heartily endorse this.
Yes please
Wow, yes. That'd be amazing.
AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhh PLEASE
Ditto
Wow. Some people were way, way more productive and fun with their lockdown than I was. This was fun as heck.
Alice Deejay - Better Off Alone (0.00)
Bryan Adams - Heaven (1.05)
Corona’s - The Rhythm of the Night (1.28)
The Vengaboys - We Like To Party (1.50)
Gigi D’Agostino - L’amour toujours (2.21)
Eiffel 65 - Blue (2.38)
Haddaway - What Is Love (3.15)
Black Box - Everybody Everybody (3.50)
Darude - Sandstorm (4.31)
hate to be that person but wouldn't it be more accurate to label Heaven as the Dj Sammy version to fit with the EDM theme? :)
Heck yeah
It's Corona, not "Corona's"
We need your services again to break down Volume 2.
@@alexanderfranklin ohhh shit didnt even see there was a new one, gimme a bit to channel my inner 90s lol.
OK - but next time can this be at least 4 hours long?
I want this to NEVER END.
Seconded, it was everything T.T
Me Either!! 🥰❤❤😆
How does this not have millions of views!?!?!? Get it together people!!!
Same.
I could listen to them all day!
Somebody give Alan Cassidy his own show on adult swim
Seconded.
Forth. YESYES
Fifth'd.
Did Alan Cassidy write this?
I actually worked on that Six Flags advertising campaign. Pretty sure I still have a bobble head of the old guy.
And these songs remind me of bar nights in college. Good stuff.
I remember that old guy dancing commercial. One of my favorites.
Do tabs exist for this?
I need a full album of this
I'm holding out for the 9 hour long rave edition of this
This was tight a heck. I almost went and jumped up and down on my own couch.
I have said it before. But whoever mixes this is VERY VERY good at their job.
thanks! I was listening to the demo for so long it was easy to map out where I wanted to go with the tones
Most underrated gathering of musicians.... ever!!!!!!
I have never thought the blending of two of my favorite genres, metal and 90s dance music, would create such a glorious trip of majestic mystical musical mayhem and whimsy!
I love this, but when Carina first came in... Damn. Impressive voice.

Did we just go from Ska to PM5K? Highschool me just crapped his Jncos
My four year old is obsessed with this. She says, "It's metal I can finally understand, Dad..." :D
She also asked if Gwarsenio is in The Misfits.
Your four year old knows the misfits enough to recognize their aesthetic, you're a good dad
I’ve never needed anything more than to hear a full cover of Heaven with Alexis singing it
Please make this happen.
How is this not on billions of views?!? It is literally one the greatest videos on the entire internet and probably always will be! Love it!!
I love the Spider One is still on board after the PM5K Pod Minutes episodes
I didn’t think it was possible to WIN at covers. Yet here we are.
Alexis’s commitment to the late 90’s aesthetic is impeccable!
Spider is such a good sport. He listened to these guys completely shit all over his music, came on to their podcast and was nothing but civil and then ultimately collaborated with them on this absolute gem. Good on 'em.
Still fucking amazing!!!
Just watched again, and this is really one of my favorite things ever.
This is further proof that METAL is the SUPERIOR musical genre,it turned all those classics 1 hit wonders into something AWESOME,and SANDSTORM was the damn CHERRY ON TOP,THAT WAS FCKN EPIC!
I've listened to this 50 times since yesterday. Thank you. 1989 baby here lol
Dude Allan Cassidy fucking wrecked the show on this !! Breaking my brain how fucking amazing the drums sound on this
I’m still coming back here 3 years later wishing this was longer and that there were new videos.
i want to ride the roller-coaster with the drummer
Me: They can't keep outdoing themselves. It's impossible.
TMTLN, every time:
I didn't even know I needed Eurodance Metal in my life but it turns out I did.
I simply cannot express how excellent this is
Two comments:
1. But why?
2. Thank you so much for this!
😂😂😂
so incredible. everyone crushed it and Alan straight up put on a clinic. the sandstorm footwork was insane!
As a fan of both 90's metal and electronic music i approve this collab. Vocals are on point
I'm sick and tired of the overplayed 90's dance tunes and I'm trying to hate on this.. but I simply can't
The 90s ~30 years ago. Baby they can't hurt you...NO MO'
Did the couch finally strike back?
Repetitive couch strain injury. The most relaxing injury ever.
I love how they worked it into the song. OW.
😄😄
I love that you actually got to party with Spider One after the podcasts. He must be pretty alright
I'm digging that Yanni Live at the Acropolis shirt un-ironically.
This fucking slaps
Every time Gwarsenio jumps off the couch its gets funnier and funnier
Like The Exorcist!
You sold me with the Tin Foil psyche-out clip from BASEketball.
Seeing Spider from Powerman 5000 singing
Blue (Da Ba Dee) is a 2000s kid’s dream 🤣
the drumming on sandstorm is much more intense than i remembered

I love everything about this bar Mr Freeze. I had erased that from my memory until now.
Shouldn't have left that memory ON ICE
@@mindthemoose1 So cold, it made my bat armor nipples so hard you guys.
Fun fact - Arnie's Mr Freeze armour was made by Terry English; the dude that also made the Colonial Marine armour from Aliens.
You're not putting that memory in the coolah!
Sounds like someone needs to “CHILLLLLLLLL WAHHHROOOO”
You got Myrone...FINALLY! Myrone's the man, and he needs to be in on more stuff like this!
Some say Gwarsenio is still jumping off his couch to this day...again...and again...and again...

Would love to. Would also love to see a full version of heaven with Alexis. Damn that was so perfect.
I wish I had money to donate to you. I'm in a drug treatment center and broke. Maybe later
Metal can cross all genres and unite us all. Metal for POTUS.
Who in the hell disliked this?? It's amazing
I remember hearing all of these songs on the radio as a kid and at middle school dances. Great to see Alexis on another video!

I would love to see a behind the scenes vid on how these come together. These were the best thing that came out of covid lockdowns
I was hoping for Like the Deserts Miss the Rain
I see Nili and I click like. She always brings something awesome
You sure Sandstorm wasn't written by Children of Bodom?! rip Alexi
The nostalgia this gives me is insane, they even threw in the "teach your kids French" cartoon.
Spider One? Can't wait.
It was amazing
We need a version with only Scooter songs. This was awesome
I think that was a Children of Bodom tribute at the end and if so I really appreciate that #ripAlexi

I can't believe you actually made Boots cover Sandstorm...legendary
Fucking amazing! Devin Townsend should've been on this!
I'd pay more than I can afford to go see a 2h 90's pop metal medley live. seriously. EDIT: UPLOAD THIS TO SPOTIFY, NOW!
Not sure what I was more excited to see; Spider One, POGs, or Scorpinok.
Had to save the best for last
This made my 90's Eurodance heart so excited. Great covers!!!
I've watched this video dozens of times and only just now noticed Myrone's crocs
I also started this video after eating some mushrooms. After 4 hours on repeat, I got hungry and ate more mushrooms. Why can’t I stop listening to this? I don’t think I even like any of these songs back when they came out? Is it the mushrooms?

I didn't know I needed this. And now I need Jock Jams and Monster Ballads editions.
100% can relate to Alan's journey through this video.
I'm going to watch this at least 10 more times today.
My two favorite cameos, of which there were many excellent ones to choose from:
1. Carina
2. Zoobooks
