I love how these "draw from a description" challenges demonstrate how differently each artist constructs their image. Jacob's "imagine a wicker basket" versus Julia's "now draw a tube" versus Nathan's "this man is not happy to be dragging his arms" made me laugh

I support this. I haven't gone that weird in my exploration of light novels, but there are a lot of really amazing titles that would work. We shouldn't exclude Chinese and Korean ones, though they might work better as follow-up videos.

Well, Jacob has an English degree, and it's an Anglicized form of "kentauros", with "tauros" meaning "bull", so clearly they're supposed to be cow-like, right?

I continuously forget there were 3 drawings in this video. The image of the Wrong Half makes me forget the eternity of time before and blocks my brain from forming new memories in the future. It is simply the Wrong Half. A similar feeling occured at the memory of Cat-Snake

@@blindbeholder9713 That's an entirely asinine response made in bad faith with no thought. They did perfectly, which means it was easy, so not a challenge, so more restrictions are an acceptable suggestion. Go watch the intro to the episode where they draw flipped and stretched.

Luckily it’s irrelevant because this video is five years old and they’re very likely to never revisit this video prompt again so you arguing in the comments is extremely unproductive

@@Nortarachanges Well you see, I was in a competition where you were shown weird images and had to either describe them accurately to a person sitting across from you or lie about what you were seeing, and then the person had to guess if you were telling the truth or not. You earned points if you fooled them.
On my turn I opted to ignore the image I was shown and start describing the "a centaur has met the wrong half" image from memory instead. They completely bought it because it was such an absurd thing to lie about.

OH MY GOD! The *moment* Julia said the name of her photo I knew EXACTLY what it was. I've never heard of the title of the image but it was the perfect name to describe this image. THIS IS ONE OF THE PHOTOS USED FOR AN ADVERSITING COMPANY ON OUR METRO SYSTEM. I freaking LOVE this one! They were all throughout the station system. All it says on them is "Advertising they _won't_ forget" and then a line of company info at the bottom. I loved seeing them randomly in stations and was sad to see them replaced with other adverts. Recently I went on the metro again and this one popped up again in one of the slots. I was very happy to spot it again.
A perfect merging of online and real life.
Time to watch Jacob draw this masterpiece.

For 18 years I've been trying to describe what dreams are like and you nailed it on a whim. An enormous weight has been lifted off my shoulders. The definition is overflowing with clarity, thank you, my life is complete.
Take animals with strange or different names that could have different meanings. Ex#1: Turtle Dove. Draw a dove flying in a turtle shell. Ex#2: French Hen. Draw a hen with a glass of wine, it's wearing a scarf, and it's looking at the Mona Lisa.
Then have the others guess what animal you originated from. I've actually done these before, along with some others. But I have never done it as a competition.

Yall could make an entire series of this specific thing. It really highlights the differences in everyone's art styles: the artist has to rely on personal skill and style, and the doom-chooser/interpreter has to rely on education and the frailty of the english language to get the imagery across.
New Challenge Idea: have each of the three of you pick a dominant feature of a video game character, (nose, hair, weapon, etc.) and have each of you draw a fusion of those!
please u weirdos, play a game of akinator and draw the character/person you chose but with all the traits akinator thought it had
in other words, draw a character. as the akinator asks questions, add traits so the question can be answered "yes" but still answer the question as if the character wasn't changed. when your character is guessed correctly, you can stop. for an added challenge, you could use yourselves as characters
