Its amazing to me the amount of healing in this game that isn't form an actual healer; easily one of the biggest issues with PvP and not because of the healing per say but because there is almost no trade off to get it in the build. You can stack damage, mobility, and self sustain and then can just cover the gap with a heartrune like stoneform. I get crap all the time because I have played heavy FS/SnS since launch and "no skill / one button" my flamethrower around the map and you have these glass cannon (yet super mobile and hard to kill) DPS talking about skill when they literally just have to walk around to get to full health (and they have pots!). The entire combat balance is basically in the state of the original Greatsword - can just do everything. Hoping in the June update there is some semblance of a plan to head in a different direction with combat balance so there is more trade offs vs kitchen sink approaches to builds. Note: some obvious changes I've thought made sense - A healing cooldown. The more you heal; the less effective it is. The tech already exists in arenas. - Put some requirements around heartrunes; either tied to weapons and/or armor weights. Glass cannon DPS? Sorry you don't also get stoneform. Tanky tank? Sorry you don't also get detonate. This could drive more value to armor weights like Medium and more use of heartrunes that don't get used today.
Really interesting, and good to get some content for us suckers that still play this POS game :p Is there a list or a ranking of base dmg for each weapon? Or how do you look for that on NWbuddy?
Its got potential since traps and bomb can be super iseful, but the damage is gonna be lower than other musket builds that pair a damage artifact weapon woth musket
I’ve been trying to do a mechanic build but it feels like I’m just throwing peas at people. It’s really fun and has a high survival rate but it’s lacking incredibly badly on it’s burst potential
man how much i miss playing this game, the only thing i ve done since last september is watching your vids kris... Hope the game gets a boost in player count eventually, did not buy the angry earth expansion and havent played since. SA servers are almost dead. legacy has less than 800 players prime time... just hurts

I didn't really understand the heeling breeze part. How does it proc with the musket? isnt it for healers?
It will proc from shirking heals / tumblers boots giving you a fat heal over time

Just from looking at your attribute page weapon damage values, musket is the only one that can go well over 2000
